Qila 1

The first part of her journey led her to Yael. The first of the Mother Trees that she would be able to visit was in the village of the Elaria. The cousins that had taken a seed from their own to plant the very one that had bloomed her. She was excited with the idea that she would get to see the Tree that gave birth to her own. So she made her way toward the village - or at least where she had been told it was.

Kyllha 1

As her usual she was out in the woods running around. Mostly she was practicing her stalking. If she could be quiet enough to sneak up on a beast then she should be able to sneak up on a person. Her overall goal was to one day be able to sneak up on her mothers and surprise them. It was going to take a lot of training though.

Qila 2

As she got closer to her destination she could feel the difference all around her. The beasts of the forest got quieter. Like they were aware of t=something out there that she couldn’t see. HOw odd that was. Unless she had gotten much closer than she thought? INstantly she started to look around for any sign of a village or even a guard that she might run into, her steps slowly just a little.

Kyllha 2

As she came around the trunk of a large tree she caught sight of someone making their way toward the village. Well that was strange. Had they been expecting someone? Not that she would be told, of course. Her curiosity was ramped up and she instantly took to following the person. From the looks of them they reminded her of her cousin, Enya. So perhaps they were a friend of hers?

Qila 3

She saw nothing and no one and soon all other sounds were gone. No wildlife made a peep. Even the wind seemed to quiet down. “Well that’s not eerie.” She said aloud to herself. Was she perhaps missing something? She turned her head to both side and scanned the area. There had to be a guard out here somewhere watching her. They were just really good at their job apparently.

Kyllha 3

When she saw that the girl was looking around, maybe looking for her, she smiled. At least she wasn’t completely unaware. It would be another minute or soe before she came out from her place of hiding, letting herself be seen by the newcomer. Kyllha waited another minute after that before she spoke. “Hello stranger.”

Her footsteps were made slowly and quietly and as she searched she made sure to watch where she was walking. Perhaps there were traps laid out and she didn’t want to accidentally end up in one. Then as she turned her head she noticed a young cousin had stepped out to be seen. Instantly she paused where she was and stared. It felt like forever before the greeting was given, letting her know she wasn’t being targeted. Or at least she hoped so. “Hello.”

Kyllha 4

She waited for the other to return the greeting before she smiled widely and made her way over to them. She took that time to look the girl up and down. From the looks of things she wasn’t much older than herself. That was good. It would likely be awkward for her to lead a youngling on in. Her mothers might accuse her of kidnapping. “Looking for Zinris?”

Qila 5

The question to what she was looking for was met with a nod of her head. “I am.” Her reply was short as she focused on the girl’s approach. It was a relief that she was around the same age. It meant she didn’t need to appeal to an adult so much. “I was hoping to visit for a bit.” A few days at least. Just long enough to visit the tree if she was allowed.

Kyllha 5

“Hm.. Well I can take you there but I can’t say if you can stay or not.” It wasn’t up to her on who got to stay and who had to leave. If it was then there would be a lot more people around. Kyllha often got bored with no one to play with. And while she understood that she couldn’t just bring home earthlings, she didn’t see the harm in letting other Aishans in. “Try not to look threatening when we go in.” Was all she said as she started to walk toward the girl.

Qila 6

She blinked at the words that had come out of the younger one’s mouth. “O-oh. Uh.. Okay.” She wasn’t sure how she was supposed to look non-threatening. As far as she was aware she didn’t look like a threat at all. Her weapon was put away and she didn’t have her mount. “I’ll try.”

Kyllha 6

She nodded her head in agreement when the other girl said she would try. That was something at least. “No attacking anyone either. You’ll get in trouble.” Outsiders were to be on their best behavior. Much like the normal residents of the village but with a bit stricter rules. “This way.” She motioned for the girl to follow her as she started walking in the direction of the village.

Qila 7

“Well I.. didn’t plan on it.” She hadn’t come all this way to attack someone, that was for sure. As the girl led the way she fell into step behind her and continued to look around. There didn’t appear to be anything that marked their location or how far away they were from the village so she was curious as to how the girl knew where they were. Then again, she supposed if she grew up here then she’d just know. Much like how she knew when she was close to her own home.

Kyllha 7

“Just saying..” She shrugged her shoulders. It was best to give the warning even if someone didn’t plan on doing something. She’d hate to see the girl get into trouble. Plus it would look bad on her for bringing someone like that to the village. She got into enough trouble on her own without someone helping her along. It wasn’t something she wanted to add to her plate.

Qila 8

“So.. Who would I need to talk to about seeing the Mother Tree?” She decided she might as well ask while she was thinking about it. It couldn’t hurt to know now whether or not she’d get a chance. Or if she might just need to take a leap of faith. “I’m on a journey to see all of the Mother Trees.” She decided to add that bit in there. Maybe that would gain her a bit of sympathy? Or something.
