Day # 025 Theme: Moonflower [and suits] Time spent: 3.5hr Comments: Dude I'm only like 6 hours total sleep in the last three days and I don't think I'll draw something this good for the rest of the event. Studied some suits today as well (you can tell I would never know where the ******** to put those creases). Ironically for something so pressed and ironed there is a lot of folds. Also did you know moon flowers are just your common morning glory. I have a whole wall/bush in the backyard. They change color throughout the day and close at night. And supposedly you can make hallucinogenic tea with them. Anyway once upon a time I ran 'The Pillow Legion' and this was the style all my art was, a solid color with some bright lighting. I really like Nahida so wanted to do a simple quick lazy doodle. This time I drew her on pen and paper and then cleaned up + added some effects digitally. Very simple process. Aaand draw more Genshin characters - they have a lot of details on their clothes and head that I'm sure I'd struggle not to make them look stiff so good practice fodder.

emotion_ghost Day # 03 Theme: Gorou Time spent: 1hr & a little more Comments: Gorou's my first pull in this stupid gacha game. I am not a furry... ... ...... but I love him sm =DDD And yes you get another Genshin fanart but this time in traditional media! Eeeee! What better way to fall in love with drawing and art again but by drawing my current obsession? I hope to do simple drawings of all the characters I pull - this way I get to have fun and practice since I havent drawn properly in a while. Sorry if the image is blurry - I'm not the best at taking quality photos with my phone and editing them... ;o; I got a bit lazy at the bottom drawing can you tell? OTL The one with the colored eyes and lineart is a try at my 'doll' artstyle. I can't tell if that makes him look feminine - help I started this and oh lord... I can't seem to get the character to look like the character! ToT but tryin again helped a bit... and to be less restrictive on the lineart - particularly his hair do.
Day # 092 Theme: Earl Grey Tea Time spent: 1hr 30m Comments: Replicated an image of a cup of earl grey tea. I'm actually proud that I can recreate images well. I thought I'd show all the different sections of each part I had to do individually. I made a mistake by blocking in the sections behind the outline which means I could not delete the outline after since those parts have messy edges I didn't care about because it was behind the outline, but I worked around it by just using a soft brush and blending it in with the parts around it, and since it was so thick it made for a good rim on the highlights haha
โ Day: 92 โ Theme: Ocean โ Time spent: an hour Comments: I did the spotlight yesterday and then ran off to do another project. I intended to return and post yesterday... but obviously didn't. Anyway~ I wanted to play withdrawing that foamy water of a receding wave. Goal was to draw with pencil and look realistic ish, but still pencil Once I got most of it blocked in, I thought it'd be fun to add cartoon birds into it. So here it is I think the water needs a little work to be a liiitle more transparent, but am happy with how this turned out. I had fun too. ...but this was one of those drawings where I had to trust the process cuz it looked awful for a while XD A ref was used for the background... but not for the birds. I wanted to link to the ref but can't find it. It was on Unsplash. I have a screenshot of the ref so I know the photographer's name and search tags. So uuhhh I assume they've removed the image since yesterday? @ .@;; I'm not gonna give the ref credit since i assume they must've taken it down. > <
