Honor Never Dies by Hatebreed begins to play for the second time tonight, this time garnering stronger cheers than prior, based on what happened during the opening of the show.
Sometimes standing for what you believe

Cartwright enters the arena, wearing long red and white wrestling tights and a glittering red jacket.
The eighteen year veteran looks out towards the fans and struts his way towards the ring.
"The following contest is a First Round match in the DHW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament!
Introducing first, from London, England.
Weighing in tonight at 225 pounds....
CAAAAAARTWRIIIIIIIIIGHT!"
Cartwright climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring between the top and middle ropes.
But I wouldn't be here if I wasn't taught that

Cartwright removes his red jacket and turns to face the arena entrance, waiting for his opponent Nuke Fusion to arrive.
Drogan: "Nuke Fusion told Cartwright that oblivion awaits him tonight."
Nigel: "If anyone is capable of delivering it, it's Nuke Fusion."

Nuke looked over at his opponent for the evening, a man whom he had many a run-in with over the past decade. A fellow compatriot, but tonight was different.
Not only was it the debut, and returning, show of DHW. But it was also the first round of a tournament to crown the first World Champion.
Nuke looked out across the arena, at the thousands in attendance. It definitely looked like an amazing turnout tonight for the return of a once-beloved show.
The bell rang, signaling the start of the match.. Fusion shook his wrists out, looking over at his opponent and readying himself.

Cartwright pulled on the top rope prior to the bell ringing, getting one last stretch before getting to work.
Cartwright confidently walks towards the center of the ring, challenging Nuke to meet him for a lock-up!

Nuke felt himself all limber and ready, and this was a clash of two veterans in the ring. He knew that Cartwright was a multiple-time World Champion, the same as he was, and that he definitely wasn't a man to be taken lightly.
Stepping forward to meet his opponent, Nuke took the initial lock up, trying to quickly transition around the back of his opponent to lock his arms around his waist.

Nuke swiftly gets around Cartwright, wrapping his arms around his fellow Englishman, possibly thinking of a lift or a takedown.
Cartwright looks to respond by clamping on a side headlock to Nuke's head, trying to find a way to keep his feet on the mat!

Both men are hot on their toes, and now Nuke finds himself in a side headlock, courtesy of Cartwright. He tries to push the arm away but is unable to and so, instead, starts to try and back up towards the ropes.
If successful, he would aim to use the momentum of the ropes to shove Cartwright away from him.

Cartwright felt confident in his grip, as both men remained on their feet, The Englishman having momentary control of the match.
But Nuke isn't going to just let this happen, as he uses his strength to bring both men to the ropes, shoving Cartwright across the ring as they find the ropes!

Nuke had sent Cartwright away from him with a feat of strength, and readied himself for the next moment. He brought his body down low, ready to spring up and flip Carty over!

As Cartwright rebounds off of the ropes, he sees Nuke lower himself, preparing to launch Cartwright overhead!
The Lad tries to be a step ahead, as he looks to slide between Nuke's legs and launch a counter by driving Nuke's face in to the mat with a bulldog!

Nuke felt like he had a missed a step there, as he notices Cartwright slide underneath his face.. only to find himself planted onto the mat with a perfectly executed (British) bulldog!
The crowd cheered on in appreciation at the initial pace of this match!

The cheers from the crowd encourage Cartwright to continue, it looks like he has Nuke where he wants him!
Cartwright would run into the ropes, by his own choice this time, as he keeps the speed going by attempting a knee drop across the back of Nuke's head!

Nuke was still fresh and, so, rolled to the side soon after the bulldog had connected. He got to a knee and shook the cobwebs out, before looking over at the impact Cartwright had just made with the canvas.

Perhaps Cartwright was too excited with the lead, as Nuke avoids the knee, causing Cartwright's knee to hit the mat.
Cartwright rolls on to his back, holding the struck body part for a short moment.

Nuke watches as Cart rolls onto his back, as he then runs at the closest ropes, attempting a Lionsault!
