Prompt 4 (Snowbunnies): Winter seems to bring out the cutest of all rodents; this isn’t the first time that small, white rabbits have infested Destiny City. They’re small, rarely larger than a guinea pig, and have large eyes and wiggling noses. They are always pure white and seem to show up whenever there’s snow. They aren't menacing or evil, they're just everywhere. They seem strangely domesticated; they are sweet, curious, and friendly creatures that will eat anything you give them. They always seem cold to the touch, and when they shake, little snowflakes sprinkle off of them.
While they seem to be social creatures who seem to appreciate anything warm and will cuddle up to steal body heat, they are too skittish and fast to be kept for pets. They can show up just about anywhere, either alone or--often--in pairs. They tend to wander off on their own without any trouble, but if you surprise them or try to catch or hurt them, they may bite. Their little teeth are enough to break skin, but after one bite they run away. The bite itself isn’t bad, but the effects are a bit unpleasant: for roughly two days after the bite, the injury is cold and the victim will feel random, cold, shooting pains. Their core body temperature will drop and they will often be sent into random fits of shivering. No medicine seems to help, and no amount of blankets or hot baths can soothe the chill. You're just going to have to deal with it and hope it gets better…
Most experiences with the bunnies are perfectly pleasant, you just have to worry about them burrowing. There are holes peppering Destiny City, and with the fresh fallen snow it can be impossible to tell where they are hiding. The holes range from small holes to several feet deep, so can be a minor inconvenience to a potential hazard. On the bright side, sometimes you wind up covered in bunnies looking for warmth from their sudden guest. On the other hand, there are a rising number of trips to the hospital for twists and sprains. The bunnies always leave with the snow, so best to enjoy them--or avoid them--for as long as you can.

Walking out and about in the city without having to be powered was so nice to do every once in a while.
Holi was currently on her phone looking at the cute pictures she took of Lex before leaving for the afternoon, smiling. The ferret was just too cute sometimes and she often found herself wanting one of her own. Maybe she would talk to Rick to see about getting a baby ferret soon. She figured she would be able to handle it, especially if she could handle Lex with no issues. She almost didn't see the burrow in the dirt next to the sidewalk, pausing to take a curious look. Oh! Was this one of those bunnies that she's heard about? She almost yelped in surprise when a small fluffy rabbit leaped out, scratching its ear. “Awwe aren't you so cuuute!?” Holi got down on her knees in the snow, holding her hand out. The rabbit’s nose twitched before hopping up to her hand, placing its chin on her palm. She decided then that she would sit there in the middle of the sidewalk to play with the cute creature, laughing as it crawled into her lap, nuzzling there. From what she's heard she can't take the bunny home or capture it but she could imagine what it would be like to have a pet of her own.
There was something like a spark in the corner of her eye, looking in that direction revealed nothing, so she just shrugged it off.
Then she had the idea to take a picture of the rabbit to send to Rick so that he could see what she found on her encounter today. The rabbit shifted like it was trying to pose for the picture which brought her a great bit of entertainment. The picture she took was nice, she applied just a little bit of filter to it and sent it off to Rick. She got the feeling he would be entertained by it. The rabbit bounced off of her lap and went back towards the burrow, which made Holi a little sad. She wanted to spend more time with it, it’s not like there were people around anyway. From the burrow came more and more till there was a whole group of bunnies, all staring at her like she was supposed to do something. “I don't have food. I'm sorry, but I can offer cuddles?” The rabbits seemed to accept that as tribute, piling on top of her so quickly that she fell backwards.
The animals were cold to the touch but she didn't mind sharing some of her warmth with them so long as they didn't bite. She was rather content until one of her new furry friends decided to n** at her finger, causing her to yelp out in pain. A lingering cold crept up her arm through the finger and she pouted. “That wasn’t nice you know…” The bunnies suddenly took off though since that spark that she thought she didn't see earlier suddenly exploded. Holi covered her eyes with her arm to keep from going blind, only removing it when she felt something nudge at her leg. “H-Huh?” Her eyes locked with one of the most strangest creatures she’s ever seen. A rabbit with antlers and the color of the galaxy? She tilted her head, “A-Are you a youma?” The creature tilted it's head as well, shaking it. Well to be fair if it was a youma it would be trying to eat her right about now.
“Are you….Mine?” The strange rabbit nodded and hopped towards her, nuzzling her chest. Welp, she did ask for a pet…Maybe this was the answer to that. She lifted the rabbit up, looking at it with curiosity, “I don't know how I got you but I'm happy to have you. I will name you…..Sophie!” She smiled and cuddled the rabbit close, getting off of the pavement. “Wait till I introduce you to Rick and Lex! Oh and Fenrir too! He might like you more than me anyway.”
