It had been like night and day for her motivation to actually show up at the 7/11 after she'd gotten her first knight starseed and a senshi who would be joining her in the Negaverse. It felt really cool too, that they would be passing notes with progress reports. There had been a bit of doubt after nothing had shown up in the first week, maybe they couldn't reach the top of the machine or maybe Todd had seen it? If anything though the store's cleanliness levels had increased tenfold while she was on shift, making sure that she didn't look as suspicious when she wiped down the top of the machines as she looked for notes.

Tonight was different though, she felt a slip of paper under her fingers as she reached up on top of the machine. At least she was working alone tonight and the snow had made the foot traffic nonexistent. It was just a small little update, a progress report with the little image of a cat drawn on the corner just like Meissa had said. Hopping down off the step stool, she hurried back behind the counter to read it over and process things. It made sense if they were a normal person, it wasn't easy to just up and disappear. Some people had family or friends that they had to deal with, saying their goodbyes or whatever. Morgan hadn't had to deal with that, she never really made friends in college, and then when s**t happened, she hadn't wanted to try making friends and dropped out of school. It had worked out, she'd been pulled into the Negaverse and she'd gotten this far without having to think too much about things. She was on the fast track now, something she preferred because waiting sucked. She couldn't be impatient with this though, not if she really wanted to get more praise from Chrys and maybe get that chance to speak with Hessonite like she wanted to. If she could get more things done to show how well she was doing, then maybe she'd hit that last rank of things and see what would happen with her creature. It sucked waiting, sucked that she wasn't sure exactly the best way to speed things up.

Pulling some blank receipt paper from the register, she started scrawling back a response.

M,
I get that, sometimes you gotta double check things before you finish packing for a "trip". Just make sure you have everything ready cuz it's not like you can run back to the house if you forget your toothbrush. Oh let me know a bit of what kinda things you eat, so I can get some stuff prepped while you settle in.

Once she had managed to get the words down on the slippery paper, she doodled her little skull in the corner just in case. She hoped that the senshi could read her handwriting, at least with how warped the type of paper made things. Just in case she went over it again with the pen to make sure it was clear before running back to her stool and hiding the message where she had grabbed the other one from.

That done, she settled back in behind the counter and flipped through the TV channels until she landed on an old Bond movie. It felt fitting and it would kill some time as her shift went on.
