Why was she even contemplating this move? Delaney sat at her desk with a piece of paper torn from a notebook. Totally random paper from a freshly bought book meant just for this purpose. Her chosen pen however was a little bit more specific as she just couldn't give up the idea of using a glittery gel pen for these notes that she was going to leave for Beatrix. There would hopefully be not just one note left for the corrupt senshi, but many. The longer she could string along Beatrix with the thought that she would join their ranks, the longer it meant that she could try and gather her wits together long enough to set up some sort of ambush tactic. It would not be easy in the slightest. Somehow she would have to branch out, make contacts, get a plan together because there was absolutely no way that she would be able to spring a trap all on her own, unless she managed to get the literal drop on the other and knock her out cold as soon as possible.

Delaney sniffed in disdain before considering the words that she needed to write for this first note. The need for a few weeks extension on her apparent timeline
... to maybe push the deadline to two-and-a-half months instead of just two months seemed reasonable but was it too early to write that specific request in. Would Beatrix become suspicious off the get-go?

Instead Delaney began to write the most basic of outlines of things that she needed to still do before folding the note up and marking it with a little rough picture of a cat with a very tufted, but short tail on the outside blank square. Hopefully Beatrix would understand that it was a note from Meissa but just in case, she doodled a quick M on the chest of the cat before making a quick summary of what she had written on another piece of paper. It was her hope that she could at least document the exchange of notes in point form for at least her and possibly more detailed ones, perhaps word for word, of Beatrix's replies to her.

That done, Delaney sighed before making a note of the time. It was early enough to go out still and enjoy the rest of the month on a patrol and not yet late enough that she would have to sneak out of the farmhouse. Although ... perhaps she would just sneak out anyways. The tapestry in the hallway still hung there and she still was very much afraid that the design would be something worse now.

Placing the note that she needed to leave for Beatrix inside her coat Delaney made the cautious move to head out before recalling the words she had written down. It was not suspicious at all in how it sounded nor was she immediately asking for any extensions. The note was simple and to the point and made no direct indication of what she and Beatrix had been discussing. Only Beatrix would know what she meant and who she was so even if the note was found by someone else, it would be okay.

B,

I am writing to let you know I have made progress in what we discussed I would do. I still am working out some of the kinks that are required to effectively disappear once I leave on my "trip" but rest assured I am getting there, albeit slowly. One can never be too cautious, ya know. I look forward to getting my first reply from you via our arranged method of communicating,

M
