Nimia 1
Since her classes had concluded for the season Nimia was able to return home for a few weeks. She was happy to see her family, but happier still to see her Great Aunt. Her grandfather had told her about Ming'we before, same as her Baba, but actually meeting her would be something entirely new. She just wished that Fiadah were here with her. No doubt her sister would join them later in the day, but at the moment she was off in the wilds and Nimia...well, she was more comfortable at home.
"Auntie Calli?...Are you awake?" She'd called after her Aunt a few different times now, but no word came from deeper in the home. Instead of opting to stay at the inn with the rest of the extended family Calliana had come to stay with them and she was...something else. Nimia wasn't sure if she preferred to sleep in because she was still adjusting to the area or if she just hated the sun. Taking a deep breath for luck, Nimia padded down the hall and knocked on the door. "They'll be here any minute now...Should I come back or...?"

Calliana 1
"I told you not to call me that, Nimia," She called through the door. There was something about hearing someone older than herself say it that didn't settle well with Calliana. The divide between her oldest siblings and herself was just too big for this not to happen, but still! The teenager lifted her hand mirror to give her hair a few final fluffs before smiling and setting it down. While she was a late riser by trade Calliana had actually gotten up at a decent hour that morning, but she'd spent nearly twice as long getting ready.
This was someone who was like a sister to her father so Calliana wanted to make the perfect first impression. Her hair was on point, her eyes had been outlined with the best Belrean cosmetics she'd been able to con her friends out of before they left, and her outfit complimented it all. When she reached to open the door she wasn't surprised to see her older cousin in a simple woolen top and dress. In comparison the two couldn't have been more different, but Calliana loved her all the same.
"Would your dads hate me if I wore my boots inside? I like the way the heel makes my leg look. You know what - hang on - I'm putting them on anyway -"

Ming 1
Ever since Sol had told her daughter that she could come and visit his daughters that was all she heard about. Either it was a 'can't wait' or a 'can we go?' So Ming'we had finally made the arrangements for them to visit. A letter sent ahead to ask if they could come on a specific day and time and of course her nephew had told her it was fine. Though she had a sneaking suspicion that it was either Sol's husband or one of his daughters that had sent the reply back.
When she heard her little girl's voice she glanced down at her and smiled. "Yes yes.. I'm on it." The alk hybrid reached up and knocked on the door before her excited child got the jump on her. "Hello." Ming called out to let Sol know who was on the other side of the door, as she was expecting the man to be home.

Myraj 1 She'd been nothing but excited to go back to Sol's house, this time hoping to meet his daughters. So when her mother had finally said they could go there was no getting Myraj to calm down. She'd tried to pull her mother along the whole walk there. And once they were close to the door she urged her mother. "Hurry, hurry." She bounced up and down in anticipation. The knock finally came and she heard her mother call out a greeting, so she added her own as well. "its us, Cousin, its us!" The excitement in her tone was unmistakable. She glanced up at her mother with a large smile then back at the door, practically vibrating in place. Sol had become her favorite cousin, if only because he was the first cousin she'd met, and she wanted to see him again to tell him she'd planted herbs next to her flowers. Plus she wanted to meet his kids. In Myraj's mind they were young like her, despite being told otherwise.

Nimia ll 2
She very nearly went into the guest room to pull Calliana out, but a knock at the door caught her ear. Of course that wasn't the only sound that got her attention and Nimia felt her nerves pool. There was something about the unknown, even if it was perfectly safe, that tended to give the Matorian jitters. What if they didn't like her? What if they wanted to see Fiadah instead?
Looking back to the closed door one last time, Nimia turned away and went to the front. When she opened the door a timid smile was on her face and her glasses, which made her already large eyes all the bigger, sat primly on the tip of her nose. "Hello. Sorry for making you wait." Giving the thick, wooden door a shove, Nimia stepped back to let the other two inside. The pair looked every bit of her baba's description, right down to the little one looking like her grandbaba.
"Baba's at the clinic right now, but he should be home later. Papa's out working too and Fiadah's....well, hard to say." Honestly, her sister was more wild than the beast's their papa studied. "Oh! I'm Nimia, by the way."

Calliana ll 2
The noise at the doorway only spurred Calliana into making her final selections. She made sure her look was perfect, absolutely perfect, before stepping out of the room and walking down the hall. Thick, indigo curls bounced against her shoulders with each step and there was a confidence in her posture that her niece just couldn't seem to muster. The girl looked absolutely nervous, and for what? This was family!
"Hello hello~" The teenager's smile was bright as she took in the pair. "It's so nice to finally meet you. I was starting to think you were just a story my papa made up." As she moved closer to NImia, Calliana casually reached over and gave the Matorian's hand a squeeze. "Well, one of you at least. The little starshine is a new chapter." She grinned. "I'm Calliana; Sol's younger sister."

Myraj 2
When the door opened up and revealed, not Sol but one of his daughters, she blinked up at her. The she had to tilt her head to the side as another female came up to the door as well, this one with purple hair that was super pretty! The introductions told her which ones they were. Nimia the daughter of Sol and Calliana the sister of Sol. So she righted her head and gave a bright grin. "Hello cousins!" Her little hands were balled up with excitement as she leaned up on tip toe to give her greeting. "I'm Myraj!"
She looked up at her mother to make sure she'd done it right but then quickly looked back at the two girls. Her gaze settled on Calliana and she brought her hands in front of her to grip the bottom hem of her shirt, almost shyly. "I like your hair." Then she switched to Nimia - not that it was easily seen - and gave her a cute back tilts of her head as she half giggled. "And your eyes are super pretty." With the glasses making them bigger Myraj could see their color really well.
When her mother moved her toward the inside she bounced in but made sure to go to the side of the door just slightly so that she didn't track too much dirt in.

Ming 2 As the door opened up she smiled. Seeing Nimia she had to pause for a second. She'd already met Fiadah so she was recalling the name. It popped into her mind as the girl was telling her where her father was. "Oh, well I hope its alright that we came while they were away." As to the girl's sister.. well, she could guess what kind of trouble she was into at the moment. When Calliana came out she gave her a nod. "Hello." Though she was overshadowed by her daughter's greeting. It made her laugh a little. She ushered the girl inside since it would be impolite to lurk in the doorway and let all the cold air in. After stepping inside she turned to her nieces and gave a half smile. "Well at least he told you about me. He very well forgot to inform me that I had other nieces and nephews beyond Sol and Ygraine." She harumphed as she rolled her eyes animatedly. "I practically had to box his ears when I discovered all that I had missed."

Calliana ll 3
"Thank you so much~" Calliana tried not to pretend that she shifted her head just right to give her curls the best little bounce, making the shine impossible not to see. Even if the hair color wasn't common in her family at all it was her defining feature and she loved it, which of course meant that she loved it when others complimented her for it. "You're such a sweetie."
When she was told that her papa had missed out on informing Ming'we about her existence, well, that took her smile down a few notches. It was then replaced with a pout and an insufferable sigh. "Good! He deserved it! He can be so scatter brained at times. My brother Casimir and I are only, like, the best kids too so we should have been the first he told you about." And after a pause, she turned to Nimia, "Your dad's right after us, of course."

Nimia ll 3
"Of course it's okay. You're always welcome here." And she meant it whole heartedly. Even if she didn't know the woman well she was family and family was always welcome. Once everyone was inside Nimia made short work of closing the door and going so far as to put a thick, woolen stopper next to the bottom so they could keep the heat in.
At least Myraj isn't scared of her. If anything Nimia had been worried that Calli's over the top personality could be frightening to a little one, and now she was worried it might influence her instead. Still, the girl's nerves were settling and she turned to Myraj, "So, papa says you like flowers?"

Myraj 3
She saw the bounce in the curls and grinned. She wanted to have those too! Sadly her hair was pin rod straight and would never have life like that. But she did get a mind to ask for purple hair. Maybe her mother would let her dye it? Couldn't hurt to ask when they went home.
As Callia a bragged about herself and her brother being the best she giggled. "Me and my brother are the best too." Never mind that they were the only children Ming had.
To Nimia she turned fully so that she had the little ones complete attention. A very enthusiastic nod followed. "Yes! I have my own garden! I even planted herbs for cousin Sol " Myraj puffed up her chest with pride and beamed.

Ming 3 She had to agree on Callum deserving the little lecture. She had missed out on so much. Not to mention hearing about his children may have helped with her own depression. So she smiled at the girl when she stated she and her brother were the best. "Oh really? Well I don't know.. I adored Sol and Ygraine as little ones. Gonna be tough to change my mind." She teased slightly. She looked over at Nimia and seemed pleased with how good she was being with Myraj. And she had missed out on all of this. Oh she was going to have to fix that. Looking back at Calliana she had to make she smile even bigger. "Oh I can't wait to make up for lost time and spoil all of you. Callum will regret not giving me my auntie privileges when you were younger."

"Auntie please." She dramatically put a hand on her chest. "You adored them because they were the only two around. I love my older siblings, really I do, but you have options now." Even when Nimia gave her an absolutely droll stare, Calliana just stuck out her tongue and grinned. She was hamming it up and knew it; what harm was a little fun?
"Did you hear that Nimia? We're going to be spoiled. Oh Baba is going to love that." She laughed. "He thinks I'm too much as it is."

Nimia ll 4"Herbs? Oh, he'll them." Myraj was honestly too sweet for her own good. As she led the way into the house, Nimia walked into the families sitting room and motioned toward the center. While the space was warm - thanks to both the well loved seating and the fireplace - it was also filled with a variety of trinkets. Bits of Sol and Koril's travels before their daughters, trinkets the girls had found on their own explorations, books and projects...but Nimia's attention was on the floor. An area rug had been rolled up and moved to the side to make room for a singular pot in the center. Inside was a fair amount of soil and a lone, singular seed sitting on top of it. "Okay so, Baba told me that when he saw you two last you really liked flowers so I thought...maybe today you'd like to learn a spell to help them grow? So you can have pretty things in the coldest of months." Her eyes went from Myraj to Ming'we. "It's perfectly safe."
