She was squinting hard at her new -maybe- hobby. Ariya had decided that she needed something to help pass the time rather than sitting around doing nothing, her favorite, and at the moment she was wondering why she thought she needed to. The alkidike had taken up weaving of all things. Mostly because it was something she could do while sitting. It required very little energy. However it did require focus and she was getting frustrated with it very quickly.

When she heard the shouting outside she sat upright from her hunched position and tossed down the needle she'd been using for the weaving. "Yeah." Her response was automatic, out before she even thought about who it was that had called out to her. When recognition of the voice set it her antennae gave a twitch and she turned her head toward the door. It wasn't long before she was up and out the door, almost in record time. Just outside the door she stopped and looked at the approaching woman, one hand going to her hip. "Well well.. guess I'll have to go get something to cook for dinner." Ariya had yet gone out to do that, procrastinating was her thing after all, so there was very little in the house to eat at the moment. She'd have to remedy that.

She watched as the axe went into a tree and could only lift a brow at the antic. Was it just her or had Ujana gotten really good at swinging that thing around since she'd left? As the woman got closer Ariya shifted so that she was standing tall and her hand was no longer on her hip. "Well, that involves me leaving the house." She finished speaking just as the Talean jumped up.

Ariya moved so that her hands could catch Ujana, her hands at the woman's bottom and lifting her up. "Or.. I could be lazy and take you to the tavern." The very one Ujana had bought was still up and running thanks to a manager Ariya had found after her wife went on her journey.

Thanks to the vigorous workouts Ujana had made her and the kids do in the past holding the leaf woman up wasn't a struggle. It hadn't been in the past either. Of course some muscle had been packed on since then too. And if a small grope of her wife's bottom said anything it was obvious that Ujana had gained more muscle during her travels. That would explain the easy swing of the axe earlier.

Ariya leaned forward to claim a kiss from her wife. "Mm. Its been a while. Did you get bored and decide to come home? Or did you miss me that much?" She joked with the woman in her arms.

Ariya gave a large grin and nodded her head. "You absolutely can if it means I get surprise visits." It was lonely while her wife traveled but it was worth it when she came home. Seeing her brought back all the early feelings of their relationship along with the butterflies. The alk would always love Ujana no matter what. Stubborn woman had a vice grip on Aruya's heart.

"We'll, home is still here, still standing, and clean. I got bored." It was mostly a joke to poke at her own laziness. "The kids are about. Subira isn't far. Ujiri spends his days off somewhere. You know Eurig doesn't leave Tale much. And Ika.. well she's putting me to shame with all her hard work in training." Of course the Talean knew most of that since Ariya did her best to keep the woman updated in letters. Ujana even knew about Ujiri's tantrums.

She smiled at the small praise and turned so that she could walk back into the house with her wife in tow. As Ujana told her she'd actually seen Eurig she lifted her brows. "Oh yeah?"

Ariya had to agree on the not so temporary stay in Tale. Of course she had to laugh when the Talean mentioned she told Eurig about the tavern. "You know he dreaded working at ours, right?" She was almost sure all the kids did. Possibly because it was seen as a chore. "Although, if he wants to work at one then he certainly can come do it here." She rather liked the idea of the boy being closer to home but much like Ujana she also only cared that he was safe and happy. Same with all the kids.

"I'm fairly certain you could still carry him, Love." Ariya grinned at the thought. It would be more than a little amusing to see the boy being carried like a child again. "Only one you might have trouble carrying would be Subira. She's gotten tall." Then again she was pure Aishan so there was nothing earthling in her to stunt her growth.

She laughed and shook her head. "Pretty sure it still applies." Ariya did miss Eurig being around. She might need to suck it up and pay the boy a visit in Tale. Not that she was one for traveling. She could always take Subira with her to track the boy down.

"Oh, I would love to see you try." She laughed even more at the thought of Ujana trying to pick up Subira. She paused by the door to wait and held it open for her wife before following her inside. "She's been at both. She'll stay here for about a month then go back to Chibale for the same time." She tilted her head just slightly and squinted her eyes as she mentally calculated how long it had been since their pure alk daughter had been around. "She should be due back in a week I think." Perhaps more. Ariya would write to her and let her know Ujana was back though.

"Oh now that's just mean." Ariya chuckled as she spoke. Surprising Subira like that would be amusing though. "You know she's been trying to get Ika and Ujiri to stop being mad at her for leaving, right?" Ever since their Alk daughter returned she had been trying to atone for taking off like she had. "I'm fairly certain she even went to apologize to Eurig at one point."

She moved over to grab her coin purse from its place on the shelf. "You can set your stuff down in the bedroom and we can head out to the tavern if you're still hungry." Ariya was worried about getting food into her wife's belly.
