Lately, there’s been an uptick in unnatural rainbows. The sky almost regularly seems to be covered with some sort of pastel shimmer. The clouds have a rainbow sheen to them during all weather, and more than once you can even make out a rainbow from just the moon’s beams. Scientists claim there are just many water crystals in the air–and that checks out. During the frequent snows, it’s common to observe soft rainbow snowflakes that catch the light like tiny suncatchers. Even fallen snow seems to have an iridescent sheen to it. It’s not a common occurrence, but it’s happening often enough that you're likely to see it at least once this season.

Vela was out and about just patrolling and looking for any chaos agents causing trouble. She had been a corrupt senshi herself not long ago and she had a princess save her from all that on a very chaotic battle field. She had never felt like she belonged in the negaverse anyway and now having a connection to her world she felt like she knew why. Vela was calling out to her and needed her. So she couldn't ignore its call. She had to help her world and work on bring life back to it. She soon started seeing a lot of rainbows as she hopped from building to building. She thought it was pretty weird.. This time a year she didn't think there was enough light for rainbows..

Christabel had been so busy with her Christmas party that this was the first time she had stepped outdoors to patrol. To think she hadn't patrolled at her favorite time of year was heartbreaking. With all the lights and snow flurries what better time to patrol? She was determined to make sure everyone was enjoying the festivities and having fun. She was determined to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and make sure everyone was safe. She was ready to do her job.
That was until she noticed on her way she wasn't just seeing the normal snow flurries but instead rainbows..? "What on earth are rainbows doing around Christmas time?" she said as she just started walking around almost being completely distracted by the rainbows in the sky. She stopped in her tracks and just stared at the rainbows in amazement. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Was she the only one seeing this?

Vela came up on the other person looking at the rainbows. She smiled and said "Beats me seems like something for the rainbow festival not Christmas but I'm not going to complain it is a nice change of pace from the dark grey of the winter season, after all winter blues are a common thing this time of year." She smiled again looking up at the rainbows. "The magic of this city is amazing sometimes."

Christabel heard anothers voice and turned around. When she saw they were on the same side she let loose a big smile. "I definitely agree! I will say I guess anything to add to the joy of the season works for me," she said with a slight giggle. Since while it was definitely odd as long as it didn't put a damper in her favorite holiday she wouldn't complain. All she wished for was for it to remain jolly and bright and the rainbows did make it bright.
The other female was completely right though, the magic here was amazing. When she was just about to say something else she heard something coming from behind them. "You didn't bring any friends with you did you?" she asked curiously as she started to turn in the direction of the noise.

She smiled looking back up at the sky and then back to the person she had been talking to. She shook her head "Why would I bring anyone out with me?" Not to mention she really didn't have any close friends these days or really those days either. She didn't remember much about her old life. She remembered her life as Vela and being a corrupt senshi had been hard. She didn't feel like she belonged in the negaverse she never had. "Nah I don't need anyone, I'm fine. What about you why are you out here alone?" She asked in fair trade. She looked them over and she thought they were a senshi as well. "So are you a senshi as well?" She asked in a low tone. "Oh by the way I'm Vale." She said in a bright tone. If they were a senshi perhaps they would want to do a mock battle with her it was good for training after all. She needed to grow stronger the negaverse never rested after all. You always had to keep on your toes when dealing with chaos after all.

Christabel kind of understood that bringing someone out with you might seem silly. Though she was so used to being around her chibi friends sometimes she forgot that not everyone traveled like that. It was a click of three or at least two. As she thought about that she noticed a big bunny bouncing out of a bush nearby. "Oops it must have just been a bunny. My bad," she said with a giggle as she watched the bunny hop off.
"I can understand that. Sometimes alone can be good, but as for me I was out here patrolling! It's my favorite time of year and I would hate if something happened to make it less jolly. What about you?" In her eyes what she spoke was completely true. The thought of some chaos happening now just did not sit well with her at all. Plus with her new upgrade she needed some practice with her new move.
"Oh and I'm Christabel Super Chibi of Mistletoe - it's wonderful to meet you Vale!" she said in her normal jolly tone.

Vela nodded in agreement and then she said "Yea pretty much the same I like patroling, things were hard for me a while back so now I am enjoying being connected to the city and helping others." She said in a casual tone. She smiled and then said "Senshi of bonfires, nice to meet you as well." She was reconnecting with who she really was and it was nice to do that on the order side and not have to fight order members. The chaos that swirled around her before had been hard to deal with. She was glad the princess had saved her from the darkness.

Christabel was happy to hear that her new acquaintance was enjoying the activities that Senshi's do best. But she couldn't help but feel bad that she had had a rough time at one point or another. She knew it probably wasn't like her, but at one point she wondered how she was a senshi at all with her unique exploding berries attack.
"Well I'm sorry things were hard for you at one point, but I'm glad to meet you. And I'm happy things are getting better for you," she said kindly. Since seeing someone getting their life better was always wonderful to her.
"Oh and Senshi of Bonfires that sounds so fun! What kind of attacks can you do?" she asked curiously. Since if she had learned anything, sometimes the cutest or funniest sphere had some pretty awesome attacks.
Not only that, but sometimes seeing them helped her perfect her own. After all she felt like she was still a little bit green - well figuratively and literally.

Vela smiled "Thanks I am too, no one wants to live a unhappy life right?." She laughed and then said "My attack is a bonfire dance, I rain embers down on my targets that have a burning feeling, you?" She asked just as curious.

Christabel nodded. All she wanted was te jolly-est life she could ever have. Since what would life be without the joy of Christmas in it. "Definitely true," she agreed with a smile.
As she listened to the attack it sounded amazing. She could only imagine how beautiful it looked even if it did make you feel burned.
"Oh mine well I send an array of mistletoe berries and they burst leaving a sticky residue behind. I will say it looks kinda pretty and bright," she said happy that her attack was able to still be kind of joyful and red.
It was then with that thought she realized an idea. "I don't know if you'd be up for it, but maybe we could show each other our moves. Almost like a spare, but like showing off what we've got. What do you think?" she said cheerfully. She hoped the person didn't think she was silly, but it would be so awesome to see the raining embers of Vela's attack.

Christabel was so excited she jumped for joy. "Definitely, let's go!" She said with a ton of jolly joy. she quickly ready her stance And took a deep breath before releasing her first attack. "Kissing blast go," she spoke aloud as She blows a kiss, sending an array of mistletoe berries.
While she was excited to release her new attack And see exactly how it worked. she was also very excited to see Their move As well. Quote: If they burst on impact, they have the potential of leaving a sticky residue that the target will have difficulty removing. If they do not burst, they cause discomfort akin to being pelted with a series of small, hard berries. In addition, the residue or pelt sites have the potential to leave a temporary stinging sensation for the remainder of the attack time. Impact is determined by player's discretion. Attack lasts 20 seconds. Can hit 1-2 people per attack, 2 uses per battle.

Vela frowned as she was hit by the attack it was distracting that was for sure, then she launched her own attack. "Ok see how you like this!!" She said and then attacked with her own magic. "Dance of flames!!" Dance of flames Vela dances faster around the flames making them burn higher and hotter than before. Sending hotter embers down on her enemies. The burns hurt more than before. 10 ft range (Lasts 45 sec.) (Twice per battle) (Only feels like burning)

Christabel watched as Vela danced around the flames and was completely in a trance. It looked so beautiful to her that she couldn't help but watch. As the flames grew higher, her eyes grew wider. Even up until the point she was feeling a burning sensation from the attack having hit her head on.
"oww that burns, but its so beautiful!" she said kind o wincing in pain but also totally amazed. She had never seen an attack like that before, and was happy she had a chance to experience it.
She bit her lip a little until the burning sensation goes away. "Thank you so much for showing me that! I'm so happy I got to see it," she said jolly like.
