Hiro Shin-Mozas vs [Rex Kobra] (Steel Cage)

The following contest is a steel cage match!

 

[Undead Superstar]

The lights in the arena go out, plunging the crowd into darkness. There is a slow beat that seeps from the speakers. As the main music of The Devil's Rejects hits the speakers, red lights turn on focusing on the stage. Standing in the center of it is a figure dressed in a stained white tank top, tattered jeans, and work boots Rex Kobra, ready for more violence and clutching a tire iron in his grasp. He stands for a moment on the stage, staring at the ring with slitted, serpent eyes. He slowly raises his arms up at his sides, prompting flames to rise on either side of him. He stands between them for a moment before lowering his arms and causing the flames to dissipate. As the flames die down, the rest of the lights turn on all red as well, bathing the entire arena in a reddish glow.

Rex starts down the ramp. His sister wasn't with him this time. Not yet. This match was between him and Hiro. Even if she was with him, she couldn't do her usual to assist him. This was a cage match after all. That glorious metal that even now surrounded the ring was calling to him. His attention remaining fixed it. His cathedral of misery surrounded by the chain link of Holy Pain. The place where he would dedicate a beating to The Serpent so that he may continue to be blessed. Just as he had been blessed earlier.

"Introducing first, weighing at 328 lbs...From the Defiler's Den...The High Priest of the Serpent...Rex Kobra!"

Rex stops at the end of end of the ramp, and raises his arms to his sides. He can feel the power of the ring. His cathedral to drag people to new found faith. Lowering his arms, he makes his way to the steps and stomps up them. At the top, he stops and places his hand on the cage near the open door. He gingerly touched the steel before dropping his tire iron to the ground and climbing into the ring. Inside he strode to the center of the ring and dropped to his knees. He extended his hands to the side and stared up at the heavens.

Rex stands and moves to the far side to lean against the ropes and focus on the ramp. Waiting for Hiro, his prey, to make his way to the ring so that Rex could destroy him.

It wasn't Turn the Page that kicked in as Rex and his tire iron finshed up their entrance to the cage. Metallica's always recognizable sound still played, but it was the song "Escape" off of their hit 1984 album "Ride the Lightning" -- it was quite apropros considering the structure Hiro was about to step into. The Ethnic Enigma would step out on the stage in his gear, his arm heavily taped even more than earlier, but still a little bit mobile. Underneath that wrapping was some bad burns and a now healed wound that would leave a nasty scar whenever the entirety of the gimmick had finished healing. Hiro made his way down the ramp with his expression one of trepedation...if he beat Rex, he stops the skid and he banishes his snake issue finally, allowing him to feel his normal fears like a Blackjack appearance or doing his taxes. He stopped at the bottom of the ramp and looked up at the menacing cage before him, perhaps a tinge of regret hitting him as he realizes keeping others out means he's keeping Rex in, and that's a big man that was no longer her friend. The Ethnic Enigma made his way to the steps and slowly climbed up, entering the cage through the middle and top ropes.

Hiro grabbed hold of the cage and slammed the door shut with his damaged arm, his fingers still working for the moment. He knew he had a serious target on his body now, but the reality is this: whether they've been friends, partners, or anything like that -- Hiro has had Rex's number, beating him in nearly every encounter they've had. Whatever Rex thought he was right now, some crazed cult leader -- Hiro wasn't sure what had happened since they last shared the ring, but it was a big change that certainly made him a more dangerous individual...and did he say 'daughter', earlier? Another former friend is a dad? That was certainly a shocker, but the idea of meeting Rex's extended family was too dangerous tonight. The door was locked once again, and an in-ring ref looked at both men one last time before ringing the bell and getting the battle underway.

As the bell rang, Rex would start to stalk toward his prey. When he was close enough, he would attempt to catch Hiro in a collar-and-elbow tie up. If he managed to get it locked in, he would attempt to transition it to an Irish Whip, aiming to throw Hiro into the ropes and trying to catch him with a big boot on the way back.

Hiro and Rex would lock up, a vintage start to what would probably be a classic encounter if both men had it the way they wanted. Hiro was quickly overpowered by his larger opponent, and lucky for him the whip would be from his less-damaged left arm. He was sent flying into the ropes and would rebound back towards Rex -- just dodging under his big boot! Hiro would then bounce off the ropes behind and rebound once more, trying to hit Rex with a leaping shoulder tackle right into his chest!

Rex let out a sound of disapproval as his boot missed. He turned and as he saw Hiro leave his feet, he puffed out his chest. The shoulder hit but if it did anything to the big man, he didn't show it.

Hiro's shoulder collided with Rex but he was the one spinning out and slamming the mat hard -- he couldn't make the larger man budge! The Ethnic Enigma slid onto his a** and dragged himself backward as quickly as he could to create some distance, getting to the ropes. He started rising slowly, realizing that taking Rex down in his current state may end up being difficult...or, at least, if he didn't go for the legs. It looked like Hiro would have to turn to old reliable tonight and use his legs to damage Rex's legs. The Ethnic Enigma would approach with caution again and try to send out a light kick or two to Rex's left leg, wanting to get the two moving again.

Rex felt the kicks and moved a bit. But not a lot. His movements were like someone trying to get away from a bug that was biting him. Rex would seek to end the assault on her legs by simply trying to overpower the smaller man and shoving him back to the ground in an act of dominance.

Hiro was blown back with a shove, sending him down to the ground and on to his a** for a second time. It hadn't been a common occurence since returning to the ring, but Hiro was fighting a man much bigger than him that had everything to gain from defeating him and was acting as such. The Ethnic Enigma's soft approach was no longer an option, and as he got back up, he started back in at Rex and attempted to chop him across the chest with good hand -- a tried and true strike since Hiro's return aiming to stun The High Priest of the Serpent if only for a moment.

Rex recoiled slightly from the chop. It was a tried and true strike for the enigma. But Kobra knew that it was a great piece of his own arsenal of moves. One would just have to ask Trent how a Kobra chop felt. So after the recoil, Rex would step forward and attempt to deliver a chop of his own back to Hiro as a demonstration of how it should be done.

The leader of the Cult of the Serpent was far too prepared for Hiro, and it showed -- Rex was always a brilliant strategist in the ring, but his decade+ familiarity with Hiro was on full display as he shot his own chop right back! Hiro stumbled backward and gripped at his chest, the stinging some of the most aggressive he'd felt in a long while. The fans cheered on Hiro as he managed to keep to his feet though and attempt to whip his left arm forward and chop Rex once more, the familiar cracking sound accompanying that particular kind of chop so popular in Mexico if it actually connected.

Rex recoiled from the stinging slap and actually smiled at the fight that Hiro was displaying. If he wanted to have a chop contest, he could most certainly have one. So he stepped in and attempted to deliver another chop of his own, the smile on his face morphing into something sadistic as he swung.

Once again, Hiro's chop hit the mark but Rex returned with one even bigger. His chops rang out as Hiro was sent bumbling back to a cage wall and using it and the ropes to support his standing as he screamed out in pain. His chest was on FIRE and somehow it started to hurt his burned arm -- it seemed that Rex's chops did so much damage to his chest it was radiating throughout his upperbody. Hiro tried his best to shake away the sting, his capilaries exploding and chest already beginning to look like raw meat. The Ethnic Enigma came like a barrel out of hell and stomped towards Rex trying to place one last knife edge shop directly to where the last one had hit and derail his opponent's defenses as best as he could!

The chop hit and Rex moved back a step. He rubbed at his chest where the blow connected. "Enough," Rex barked right before launching forward and attempting take Hiro off of his feet with a sudden and vicious lariat.

It was as if Rex called ballgame, swung a bat, and cracked Hiro right in the neck with a deep drive into left field with a walk-off homer. The lariat destroyed Hiro, sending him down to the mat and causing him to feel all the pain from his match with Salem alongside this new, more venomous pain from Rex. He coiled up on the ground holding his wounded arm and tried to kick away slowly from the former Rexual Defiler, but the odds of escape at this point were incredibly low.
