Quote: Prompt 3 (Flurries and Flowers): Strange snow flurries have been blowing through town, frosting entire buildings. Sometimes they come out of nowhere--overnight, or in the timespan of just a few short hours. Sometimes, only minutes. Snow falls rapidly and ice coats doors and windows, sealing them shut. These snow flurries are knocking out power, and worse--trapping people in buildings and cars. Sheets of frosty ice build up quickly and have caused major inconveniences. But, it’s not all bad, if you can find a way to appreciate the small things. After these flurries, in addition to the fresh snow and ice, beautiful flowers in the shape of snowflakes have sprouted up, too. They grow in small patches and permeate a pleasant, sweet fragrance. They can grow on any surface, as long as it is covered in snow or ice. If the flowers are not kept in freezing temperatures, they melt, but for the duration of their lifespan they are beautiful, fragile things. A lot of times, the unknown magic in Destiny City around the holidays were terrifying, caused damage, or even made some of the Youma that could be encountered look like puppies. Sometimes though, it could bring about beautiful things, and this time it was the beautiful flowers in the shapes of snowflakes which had brought Larissa out tonight. She was powered up just in case anything decided to attack her. One never knew for sure if there were monsters lurking out and about. But, she had her camera ready and was taking pictures of a small patch of undisturbed flowers next to a bench when she felt the aura of another White Moon nearby. Not a Senshi, so it had to be a knight. "Glad I'm not the only one out tonight." She said with a chuckle as she leaned in a bit closer to get more details on the flowers.

Nairobi wasn't sure why she decided to powerup for her walk but thou it might sound silly she felt more safer when she was powerup. Even the fact that her weapon was basic and harmless it was still good to feel and look strong. She wanted to take a look at the flowers that she had heard about. She found the snowflake shaped flowers that everyone was talking about. They were quite beautiful. As Nairobi approached the patch of snowflake flowers, she noticed another knight bending down to get a closer look. "Beautiful, aren't they?" Nairobi said, her voice filled with awe. "I've never seen anything like it before." She happy whenever she got the chance to meet another knight. ((120))

Larissa couldn't help but nod as she snapped a picture. "I haven't seen them either, so I wanted to make sure that I captured them in a picture. Sometimes, I think that even if there is Order and Chaos magic out there, there's also other types of magic, that make beautiful things such as these. Something that isn't dangerous and just wants to bring joy." She looked towards the Knight. "I'm Larissa, Senshi of Water Lilies. Always happy to meet another in the Order. And I love your outfit as well!" Taking a look at the outfit. It wasn't a color combination that she recognized, but she had heard, and seen, new Princesses, perhaps this Knight was one of theirs?

"Thank you." Nairobi looked over at the flowers. "They are Absolutely stunning," she replied, her voice laced with the same awe. "I can't believe how intricate each petal is, like delicate lace. Each petal is so delicately crafted, just like a snowflake." Nairobi stood beside Larissa admiring the flowers. A gentle breeze swept through the park, carrying with it a sweet fragrance that willed the air. Nairobi closed her eyes, inhaling deeply, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. From what Nairobi heard the flowers can grow on any surface, as long as it is covered in snow or ice. They can only stay in freezing temperatures, or they will melt. Nairobi was grateful for the chilly winter night. She marveled at the resilience of these flowers, how they thrived in the harshest of conditions, transforming the barren landscape into a breathtaking work of art. ((146))

Larissa nodded. "I've been trying to capture some of the more intricate details with my camera. I think I've gotten a few at least, but the lighting is making it a bit hard." She said with a chuckle. As bright as the moon was out tonight, some of the flowers were still blending in quite well with the surrounding snow making it harder to get a good picture of the smaller details that they had. "I wish I could keep some of them. Maybe someone has found a way, but you would have to first be able to move it without it breaking in some way and then put it in a freezer forever." Not something she had the room or electricity to do. Unfortunate. Too many times it was hard to see the beauty that could come from magic when it came to this city.

Nairobi nodded, understanding the struggle of preserving something so delicate. "It's a shame that we can't keep them, but perhaps their fleeting nature is what makes them so special. Like a reminder to appreciate beauty in the moment, knowing it won't last forever." Nairobi reached out, gently brushing her fingertips against one of the snowflake flowers. The petals felt like fragile snowflakes against her skin, and she marveled at their delicate beauty. "Sometimes the most beautiful things in life are meant to be cherished in the present, for they may not come again. We may not be able to keep the flowers, but we can capture them in our hearts and minds. The beauty of this night, the awe-inspiring sight of these delicate blooms... It's a gift that will remain with us even when winter fades and spring arrives." ((139))

Larissa couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. The Knight seemed to be thinking quite philosophically. It reminded Larissa of one of the classes she had to take at University. "You're probably right. It makes you feel glad to be alive as well to be able to see this beauty at this time. It really brings into focus what we're doing and what we need to preserve."If chaos really took over the universe, there would be no one left to marvel at the wonder and beauty of just... it. It would just be an emptiness. Sometimes she wondered why Chaos wanted that so badly. It was like an infection that destroyed it's host. Wouldn't that just get rid of Chaos if everything else was gone as well? Sometimes she wondered if there was some other hidden agenda that Chaos had that they weren't aware of.

SSBrosB We can start wrapping up if you want. Nairobi smiled, appreciating Larissa's insight. "You're right, it's important for us to remember why we fight and protect the beauty of this world. Chaos may seek destruction, but we are here to preserve and restore. We may not always understand its motives, but we must remain steadfast in our mission to bring light and order." Nairobi looked out at the snowflake flowers once more, her heart filled with determination. She knew that there would be battles to fight and challenges to face, but moments like these, when she could witness the magic and beauty of the world, made it all worth it. ((102))

Larissa grinned. "Glad I could meet someone like you then. At least we have the same goal we want to reach." She said with a nod. "I don't know if you have it now, but if you ever get your ring and get it upgraded, you can send me a message whenever you feel the need to."She stood up and took a moment to stretch before looking back at the Page.
