Dia shivered in the cold, as she traveled out of the warm college building. It was frightfully cold this December. As she pulled on her purse strap, she looked at the time - whoa class had gotten out incredibly late today. There was no time. She would have to have a snack on the way to work and take a late dinner about ten at when she got home from work. She worked as an office assistant (currently the evening shift)at her older brother Dean's Engineering company - she thought something move out of the corner of her eye. She turned to look, but there was only a single large snowbank there. She shook her head, snowbanks don't move on their - uh now it was slowly moving toward her. She gave a yelp, and then cried, "That's no snowbank!" For it wasn't - it seemed an albino komodo dragon or something. But there wasn't anyone around to her or save her. She jumped away, stumbling over herself. It seemed angry.

Vilenius was not, nor had he ever thought of himself as befitting the role of hero. Tonight was no exception.
He just had a lot of pent up anger, and it was easy to take it out on the four-legged snake that had fallen out of a tree on top of him a few minutes ago. It had clawed down his back and narrowly managed getting tangled in his hair.
Vilenius hated the cold, and he hated it even more when he had half-frozen blood from a lizard chilling him.
Any sensible person would have nursed their wounds and gone home.
Vilenius was not sensible.
He’d been chasing the thing for a few minutes already, lost track of it, and only found it again when he heard someone screech.
It wasn't very clever to run towards people, and usually he was far more careful about how he interacted. Although, if anyone saw his pale blue skin right now, he probably could have just blamed it on the cold. He snarled as he bounded towards the noise.
He saw the girl, albeit barely. He didn’t care about her. He could see the lizard.
Vilenius jumped on its back as soon as he could. He tried to throttle it from that position, but its muscles were thick and strong and though he was passionate, its scales were freezing his fingers so he could hardly even get a good grip on it.

Dia watched horrified as the strange blue guy in strange clothes jumped in and attacked creature. And no, he had not come to save, he had come it seemed to finish his fight. And it seemed that though he might some special abilities, he may or may not win. Dia frowned. She should be able to save herself at this point. And man, if people were getting super powers surely one should be able to get some that truly cared about others. The air became quite warm beside her and started to glow. Out of the light, came a beautifully carved and antique (and very ancient looking chisel. After a moment of shock, she grabbed it and was about to start beating that lizard on the head with it, when she was enveloped in a dark blue light. A moment later she was standing in a warm outfit for the cold. She felt strong and faster. She looked towards the oversized lizard and said out of nowhere. "Beast, you look rather tense. Let me help you relax. I am Calder, Page of Mercury."

“What?” the Senshi blurted. His gaze jerked to her in obvious surprise. “You are a Knight?”
You weren’t supposed to show your identity to anyone, those were the rules on Earth?
…Oh, he didn’t have time to care about that right now; the lizard was squirming. He had his hands wrapped around it tightly and tried to throttle it. It squirmed and clawed at him but he wasn’t willing to let it go.
Through gritted teeth he added, “Well don’t just stand there. It’s–”
He hissed when it bit his arm but he didn’t let go. The loss of a firm grip was obvious, though–the lizard started to squirm away.

"Knight?" Dia No, in this form I am Calder, Page of Mercury looked at her ancient chisel and strange but cute outfit in confusion for a moment. Yes, Knight. I am a Knight. Or at least I will be. A Page would - Calder mentally shook herself. I need to focus on the battle. Now, I should run through, my new abilities and FAST too - I am stronger and faster - what about attacks and defense? Just this ancient chisel I guess - let's go! She sprinted towards the creature and did the only thing she could think of do - she walloped the creature on the head with her chisel. (A pre-med student and still all she could think of was to wallop it on the head). The creature howled in pain and struggled. "Well.. uh... maybe that wasn't the best course of action..." The beast was now attempting to take a massive bite of the alien's hand....

The lizard bit Vilenius, hard. He could have handled the pain, and even as he gritted his teeth and hissed, he doubled down his efforts to hold it still.
It wasn’t enough.
He was bleeding too much, and the lizard squirmed. Its tail thrashed at Calder but it wasn’t interested in fighting, it only cared about escaping. The creature might have been a bit dazed, but as it slithered through the snow the red markers of Vilenius’ injury faded.
It washed itself in the snow as it scurried off, and though Vilenius was trying to claw his way to his feet and chase after it, it disappeared. In a fit of frustration, he balled his hand up and swept it at the snow. He wasn’t one to get up, but it seemed like that was enough to make him aware of how much pain he was in so grumbled and huffed and began packing icy snow onto his hand to stop the pain.
“I hate this planet,” he muttered. “You live here? What was that? Why did you take so long to help me?”
