Quote: Prompt 3 (Flurries and Flowers):Strange snow flurries have been blowing through town, frosting entire buildings. Sometimes they come out of nowhere--overnight, or in the timespan of just a few short hours. Sometimes, only minutes. Snow falls rapidly and ice coats doors and windows, sealing them shut. These snow flurries are knocking out power, and worse--trapping people in buildings and cars. Sheets of frosty ice build up quickly and have caused major inconveniences. But, it’s not all bad, if you can find a way to appreciate the small things. After these flurries, in addition to the fresh snow and ice, beautiful flowers in the shape of snowflakes have sprouted up, too. They grow in small patches and permeate a pleasant, sweet fragrance. They can grow on any surface, as long as it is covered in snow or ice. If the flowers are not kept in freezing temperatures, they melt, but for the duration of their lifespan they are beautiful, fragile things. The cafe was finally closed for the evening and Holland could not be any happier. While he loved his job, the need to go out tonight was just banging against his ribcage. He was currently jamming to the song U Got That by Halogen, whole body moving while he swept and mopped. Once he was sure the entire building was clean [he sent Daisy home so she could take a proper break for once], he started moonwalking backwards out the door so he could put the cleaning supplies away. Through his earbuds he could hear some faint conversation, frowning when a bunch of girls just walked past him. He couldn't exactly hear what they were saying [he had noise cancelling on], waiting patiently for them to leave the alleyway so he could put his stuff away. The temperature started dropping with the setting of the sun so getting back into the building is a priority. He left his jacket in there anyway. Once the crowd of girls left he made his way towards the storage, dancing all the while. When he opened the door, he stepped in to place the supplies down, missing the obvious person in there with him while he was dancing. He could be heard singing, "I. Like. You. Cause. You. Got. Something..." Shimmying all the while. The door closed behind him but he paid it no mind, finally turning around and covering his mouth as an undignified scream tried to leave it. Why.....Why was Dj Buster in the supplies closet? The tiny guy tried to think, pausing his music. "I'm seeing things...Yep Holland its happened, youre just as crazy as your gram gram."

Some days it was hard being something of a local celebrity. Yukio wasn't sure if the gaggle of girls recognized him from his gigs as DJ Buster – at least not until they darted up to him and started fangirling. And while it was kind of fun for like five minutes (nothing wrong with talking to fans who happened to be cute), the girls persisted. Even when he tried to excuse himself as politely as he could, they wouldn't leave him alone. (He wondered idly if this is how the Beatles felt back in the day.) Backing away from them, he began to walk with as long a stride as he could manage; to his mild alarm, the girls trotted after him, chattering their excitement at meeting one of their idols. Again, he wasn't sure if they just happened to be going the same direction he was, or if they were deliberately following him. He quickly ducked down the first alley he came across, hoping that his adoring fans would continue on their way – but when they went down the alley as well, he knew he had to do something to lose them. Then he spotted a partly open door behind some restaurant, and got an idea. Dashing into the room just as a snow flurry started, he slammed the door shut behind him and froze in position, keeping as still as possible. He heard the girls hunting around for him outside for a minute or two before they moved on, and he gave a sigh of relief. Until the door opened again and a familiar figure entered – that small guy from the Korean cafe, Holland, was it? – holding a bunch of cleaning supplies and singing and dancing without care. A gust of wind closed the door behind him, and as he turned around and saw his favorite DJ standing there, he nearly screeched in surprise. "No no no, please don't scream," Yukio begged in a loud whisper. "They'll find me again. I don't think I could handle that." He raised his aviator goggles from his eyes and gave Holland the most pleading look he could muster. "Please, man…"

Huh? So apparently he was not crazy which was a good thing because if he was seeing things this early, then there really was no hope for him. Mom and dad would be so sad, he'd have to go the way of old yeller sadly, ain't no way he was going to go to a facility! Finally able to calm himself, Holland took out his buds to place them in the charging case, "Why are you in here?" Maybe it had something to do with that group of girls he saw earlier? Too bad he couldn't hear what they were saying, otherwise he might've been more help....Wait...Holland looked up at the DJ with awe. DID HE JUST SAY MAN?!!?!?!? The smaller male leaped with excitement. FINALLY some one recognized the fact that he was a grown a** man and not some ten year old kid! "Wow thank you!" He looked the Dj in the eyes, now noticing the missing shades. "Uhhhh..." He looked away, coughing. Stupid yellow eyes..."W-Why are your shades not on?" He didn't make eye contact but made sure he was at least facing the dude. "You know I think whatever's out there is gone so we could just..." He made his way over to the door, intent to simply push it open only to find it stuck and cold to the touch. "Ooookay.....Uhhh... Don't panic but... The door wont open and you dont have your shades on so..." He didn't know what to say at this point, face still a bit red.

"I don't wear them when it's going to snow," Yukio said of his shades, one eyebrow raised as though it was the most obvious answer in the world. "I'm hiding in here because of this group of girls I ran into. They wouldn't leave me alone." Any other man would have thought he'd died and gone to heaven, being swarmed by a bunch of girls, but to the DJ it was kind of embarrassing and frankly terrifying. Though if they hadn't been so aggressively fangirling him, he might have enjoyed it more. Darn cute girls, being all cute and s**t. If there was one thing Yukio was a complete fool for, it was cute things. He looked down at Holland, who was clearly freaked out at finding him here, and oh lawd the little guy was just adorable, with his pink fringe and moon face and big teal eyes. Holland looked like a damn character from some shoujo anime; Yukio had seen his share of those, both as a kid and as an adult. In fact, he fashioned his own look from shoujo manga he'd read. He didn't swing that way, though. Or did he? This was hardly the time to be pondering that. Then what Holland was saying sunk in. "The door won't open?" Maneuvering around the small man, Yukio grasped the inside knob and shoved his shoulder against the door. Sure enough, it wouldn't budge; not only that, it felt icy beneath his touch, unnaturally so. "Uhhhh…." He sighed and wondered if that flurry hadn't caused this. What a time for Destiny City to be Destiny City-ing. Yukio leaned back against the door despite the chill. "I don't suppose there's any way into this closet from inside, is there?"

Ooooh so that group of girls made the classic fangirl group that you could see in anime?! Interesting...Shoving that away for later, Holland cleared his throat. "N-Nope it is completely closed. There would've been a exit back into the store, but boss had an incident one winter where some one managed to rob the place in the middle of the night, it was sealed up rather quickly after that." With that, he looked around, idly messing with the cleaning supplies. There was nothing to do at the moment and as long as DJ didn't do anything to look attractive he would be okay. "So...Do you just DJ all the time or?" This was so awkward...How does one get to know a local celebrity? "What's it like?"

Normally Yukio would have given a flippant answer to such a line of inquiry, delivered in his typical deadpan, flat tone of voice and with an equally flat expression on his face. But Holland was so sincere, and so ******** wide-eyed and innocent-seeming, and he was a non-obnoxious fan, and and and… "No, I wish," he snorted a soft chuckle. "I have a day job that pays the bills and keeps a roof over my head. DJing is a part-time thing for now." He didn't want to go into his whole life's story with someone he'd only met recently, despite how adorable the someone was. Holland didn't need to know what his day job was, or what his other hobby entailed (that could get him in a whole bucket of trouble he didn't need, letting the word get out that he was a hacker as well). "But I'm working on being a full-time DJ. That would be glorious." What was most definitely NOT glorious was the news that there was no closet access from the inside of the cafe. With a sigh, Yukio tried the door handle again, this time slamming his shoulder against the unyielding closet door to see if that would jar things loose. To no avail; it was frozen shut tight. "Hmm. Let's try both of us hitting the door at the same time. Maybe with our powers combined we could get it to open. To paraphrase Captain Planet."

Holland never thought about having the both of them hitting the door, but it just might work, two things of strength is better than one after all. Looking to the DJ he laughed, "We are Captain planet!" Most people were surprised he even knew about that cartoon given the fact that it was definitely a Millennial cartoon. Just because he was some gen z kid didn't mean that he couldn't be cultured. Either way, he was ready. Leaning up against the cold door Holland looked to the DJ, "Okay....On the count to three, One...Two....Three!" They both used their strength to burst through the doors, which opened a lot easier than they thought, causing a mass of tripping and limbs. Holland flailed, trying to catch his balance as he went down, thanking everything he could that there was the fluffy snow to soften his fall. He shook his head and started to sit up, scooting back on his elbows then moving forward, he started to sit up. Because he was not paying any attention whatsoever, his lips bumped into something...Warm? HUH!?!?!?The smaller male's eyes fully opened with shock... Did he just? Oh god. All he could do was stare, because his lips were currently touching DJ Busters... Uhhhhh....The first thing he thought of was how NOT to pop a boner because that would count as sexual harassment right?! Oh no did this count for it?! He instantly pulled his lips away scooting back with the speed of sonic the hedgehog. "ImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorry! IM SO SORRY!"

The door came open far easier than Yukio expected, sending both him and Holland tumbling into the snow on the ground. Pinwheeling arms and tripping legs and a lot of flailing and confusion, and in the midst of this his trusty vintage flight helmet came off, unleashing a cascade of blue hair as he fell… On top of the smaller man. No, like pretty solidly on top of him.Winded from the fall (even though the snow and Holland both cushioned him from being knocked completely out of breath), he scrambled to get his arms underneath him, in order to maneuver himself up and off Holland. Before he could even begin to apologize, though, the little guy moved beneath him, hauling himself up… but not before his lips touched Yukio's. It was only for the briefest of moments – Holland scooted up and forward, and Yukio found his leverage and pushed himself up, and it just happened. He froze for a second, then as quickly as he could given the slick snow, he scrambled to his feet, his face stone flat and emotionless but red as a lobster, his golden-yellow eyes huge. "S-sorry," he mumbled. "I um… hope I didn't accidentally squish you…" Bending to retrieve his hat, he put it back on, brushing his hair out of his face and avoiding eye contact at all cost. Oh god, he was never in a million years going to live this down.

Quickly scrambling to his feet as well, Holland rubbed his arm, face as red as a tomato. He did take note that his favorite DJ looked rather nice without the hat. "U-Ummm....You...Uh....You look nice without the h-hat and all." He shook his head too quickly, "N-No! Not at all! I'm harder I MEAN STUDRDIER than I look!" He rubbed the back of his head next, looking to the side. Good lord the poor guy was probably never going to show at the cafe again and it would be all his ******** fault. "U-Um as thanks....Please stop by w-whenever and Ill give you a meal and drink free of charge, as an apology." He hopped this didn't offend him, but he did want to apologize.

"No nono I'm the one who should be apologizing," Yukio said, shaking his head, suddenly very aware of his hat. He pulled the goggles down over his eyes again, as much to hide behind as to protect him from the snow, which was still falling lightly. "Look, um, lemme do something for you, if you want. I'll give you free passes backstage to my sets. As an apology for like… not squishing you. Um." He could still feel the heat on his face. Finally looking at Holland, he nodded. "Thank you. I'll definitely take you up on that. The meal and drink thing. The food's really good, I don't know if I said that when I was here last time." And the company wasn't too bad either. He shook his head, as much to get his hair out of the way as to get his brain in gear. What was this, some silly yaoi manga? Only that girl at that little book store, Holi, knew he picked up some of that stuff along with his Japanese music magazines. "Um, I should, y'know, get going. Got some music to make." Turning on his heel, he moved to leave, glancing around first to make sure the fangirls were nowhere to be seen. Then he glanced back over his shoulder. "Thanks again, Holland. Hopefully I'll see you around." With a short sigh, Yukio headed home. A small smile crossed his lips, and he shook his head as he exited the alley. He had a lot to think about… Viva Viola and FIN! thank you for the RP!
