Too many events had happened back to back. Part of the hybrid remained on edge. Things always came in three's. That's what experience had taught her so far. While the events on Yael, and the strange unwelcome events on Matori, Teiluj sat quietly on the floor of Lynx's home once again. Several tomes were open around her, as the now Monk sat in quiet study.

She was trying to keep her focus on her studies. Trying to ignore the unwelcome change in her body. Fearful that Lynx would no longer find her as attractive as he had up until that point. It was taking all she could to keep from letting that fear consume her. From reacting to it, each time her own skin came into view Teiluj would pause. Stare at her skin then her stones for a moment before clenching her hands angrily and looking away from them towards another tome. This routine had carried on for several days. Her body now healed from the run in with the highly aggressive Mystic.

Giving a soft sound of acknowledgement at the sound of her name Teiluj's now green eyes lifted up to meet the unchanged silver of her partner. Shrinking back a little Teiluj nodded her head. She had forgotten how hungry she was, while trying to keep absorbed in her studies to ignore all the events going on around her.

Moving to push herself off the floor, Teiluj had forgotten about the book in her lap. A thumping sound as the tome hit the floor causing the hybrids antenna to quiver uncertainly. "I can cook, I have a new recipie in mind that I want to try out. Will that be okay?"

"I would like your company, you don't have to if you don't want to though." Hesitantly Teiluj stepped closer to Lynx, raising her hand to touch his chest. Catching sight of her skin again, Teilj jerked her hand away turning with a look of disgust. Not in her partner, but in herself. If she wasn't unnatural before, she was now. These changes were unnatural, otherworldly, and she hated it. She had only just become comfortable in who she was. Her lips curled from one side to the other in thought. She had been working as a healer on the side for injured animals that Lynx's patrons had brought him to train. Or needed someone to look at. Thanks to her proximity in watching Lynx as he worked, she was able to pick up a thing or two that allowed her to ease the various creatures.

Though she tried to hide the small side job from her mate, she surmised it likely hadn't gone unnoticed by him. Not much got past him, from what she could tell. She would use the money to buy any ingredients they would need.

Closing her eyes thoughtfully Teiluj began listing off the various ingredients she would need for the meal she had chosen. "Uh, well lets see. We will need: strips of quhar, some green and yellow tubars, that one root that makes your eyes water when you cut them. Green shoot seeds, awaet, and some pepcorn to make a paste." Pausing to look back at Lynx Teiluj inhaled slowly. "Unless you prefer Merik over Quahar. I don't think we have either meat in your house right now."

Flinching against Lynx's touch, Teiluj inhailed sharply again a moan slipped out at strength Lynx exhibited. Her body pressed up against the male hybrids. Her eyes averted his gaze for a moment as she struggled against his grip before giving up and surrendering to his hold. Her one hand against his chest again, another on his upper arm covering the scars he had sustained in the past. Unable to open her eyes, not wanting to face what would possibly happen. Wanting to yell out to him to 'just forget about it' she breathed in an out several times in the silence before her soft voice was heard.

"I'm different now, my skin is different. My hair, my eyes my stones. I've changed, the only thing that hasn't changed is the part of me that are of the tribe sisters. Maybe this is Aisha's way of punishing me for leaving her ways. For abandoning my sisterhood." She could feel the sting of tears pooling in the edges of her eyes. "I'm not the girl you met anymore. I'm different, and I'm scared that..."

The hybrid woman's jaws clenched shut. No, she would not vocalize the next words for fear that she was right. Keeping her gaze averted, Teiluj struggled to hold back the tears from falling. She wasn't a crybaby, she was stronger than this, and knew better.

The way he touched her ignited the flames that crawled along her skin. Shivers that ran up and down her spine. She closed her eyes against the feel of his lips against her neck. The single tears from each eye escaped with the breath that hitched itself in her chest. Her hand on his upper arm tightened with an almost need. The feel of his touch over the stone formations on her skin left her wanting more.

A daughter?

Children? He was really wanting children with her, that hadn't been a joke? Her chin followed Lynx's guide with no resistance. Her once golden eyes locked with those of the man she loved. Swallowing against the intense look, and the words that made her heart leap. She moaned his name breathlessly. Another squeeze against her arm, the hand on his chest shifted up to his shoulder. Her body trembled with a need she couldn't explain, there were no words she knew to describe something that burned deep within her.

She didn't let him finish speaking before she was rising into the tips of her toes. Pressing her lips into his, not once, not twice, but several times. Cutting him off after mentioning how hard she was to resist. "Why do you know the words to settle me. It isn't fair." Teiluj mumbled as she pulled back a little. Holding herself only a breath away from him, as if to tease him back towards her.

Teiluj couldn't help but feel she was rather vain, and a rather high maintenance girl. Her mother would be ashamed of her behavior right now. Leaning forward to tease him with another kiss that she would hold out of reach. "I need you. I need your strength."

She was familiar with Lynx's body, but this was a part of him she was not familiar with. His deepening kiss only fueled the fire within her, a craving she couldn't get away from. It consumed her very essence, her every thought. The sound of the hunger in his voice fueled her own needs. She couldn't feign innocence now, she knew full well what would happen they had come dangerously close on several occasions. Had she been just a toy to him he would have already filled the need with another. Yet here he remained entirely hers as she was his.

She moaned against the heat in her body. "I haven't started anything." She playfully responded. Moving to kiss the base of his neck. Her fingers lacing their way down the scars on his arm hovering just above places they shouldn't be near. Pausing before leaning back with a sultry look of her own. Her lips parting while her hand closed the distance. Her finger hooking around the loop of his belt. "I surrender to you Lynx. With all that I am and all I will be."

The events left Teiluj satisfied in ways she never could have contemplated. Filled in ways she never would have dreamed, the day had cheated them while Lynx filled his hunger. The way he showed her just how much she called to him, left her no doubt about just how close they were. The beast that had been screaming from within was now quiet. Satisfied.

Every time she thought on what he did, it would awaken shivers she loved. She lay curled up next to him. Just as breathless as he was. The hunger of their stomach's had been forgotten up until now. Shifting to sit up Teiluj hummed in satisfaction. Reaching around to run her fingers through Lynx's hair with a final kiss, pushing herself off the bed her legs wobbling with the effort. They had worked up a sweat and still needed to get to the markets for the ingredients they would need for dinner.

She disappeared through the door, only to return a few moments later having showered. The fresh scent of vanilla followed her back in, her hair still damp. Droplets that escaped her hair settled in the fabric of her clothes. "I better get those ingredients for dinner." There was a permanent smile on her face. "Would you like to stay here, or, maybe join me?"

He was impossible to take her eyes off of. The way he had shown her the world in a view she had never seen, had somehow mellowed her. It was as if he had finally tamed a fierce beast within HER. Her now green eyes followed him, trying to comprehend how such a remarkably sized hidden part of him could create such waves. "There's something you want to check on?" Teiluj was a little perplexed. The stolen kiss wasn't without her wandering hands, her eyes following him to the other room. A nod in understanding.

Looking around the room Teiluj searched for a bit of twine to hold up her hair. Pulling it back into a ponytail. Taking out some of her hair to braid it around the top of her head in her classic style. Catching site of her changed coloring's Teiluj paused gently closing her hand while turning to look in Lynx's direction. A sly smile on her lips she lowered her hand. Listening for the sound of her mate, Teiluj moved about to check for her coins. She still refused to allow Lynx to really pay for anything, the least she could do was make sure his belly was full. Looping the coin purse around her own belt, Teiluj set about making sure the animals were fed while she waited for Lynx. Starting from the ones inside ending with those who were kept outside.

Her radaku had now gained the ability to wander the property, and her Kinfa rested peacefully in a loft set above a barn. The sound of footfalls were greeted with a bright smile. "Have you decided between quahar or merik?"
