Bright blue eyes seemed not to stray from a distant spot as the wild dog raced through the open savannah. The mostly dark-amber dog was a blurr, her tongue lolling from her mouth and her fur tugging back as she raced against the wind.

The spot her eyes had yet to stray from was an equally quick blurr, though of a dustier color. It was her dinner, or so she hoped. She'd found the rabbit only a few moments ago, darting for it's hole. Binifu had blocked it's way and tried to snap it up then, but the girl could be a little clumsy.

The sun was just beginning to sink on the horizon, creating warm golden-pink glows across the land.

Temari took off at a run from the watering hole, her paws taking her across the dark grass towards the sunset. It was so pretty, but her body melded with the gold, turning her golden fur on fire and making her dissintegrate into the wind.

She loved it.

If she could run for the rest of time, she would be excstatic. But of course she couldn't. That would be insane.

Out of the corner of her eye, the female noted that there was another wild dog running. She was darker, but it was obvious that it was a female.

The adolesant gave a slight yelp as she suddenly went down and forward, her front-most leg suddenly found itself in a deep hole, who knew from what kind of creature. This caused her whole chest and other front leg to hurt like heck though, something she was not too happy about. Her eyes narrowed as she watched the rabbit get away and tugged at her leg, growling slightly. This wasn't easy, and it didn't feel dandy either!

"Stupid, stupid hole!" She sounded rather upset by the whole thing, what bad luck!

Temari's eyebrow's lifted and she picked up her speed so quickly that she was at the dark female's side in a matter of moments.

"Oh my gosh! Here, let me help you!" She pushed her body against her back and helped to lift her right out of the dirt hole in the ground, her ears pricked forward in concentration.

She gave a small yelp as suddenly another was behind her, but a sheepish grin came when she saw it was just another wild dog. As she was helped out she bowed a little to the other. "You gave me a small fright." She chuckled and backed away from the hole.

"Thank you for the help!" Her gaze wandered off to where the rabbit had gone, a sigh slipping past her maw. "Oh, I'm Binifu."

"Of course. I'm Temari of the wind. So what were you doing exactly lovely?" Temari smiled brightly and leaned her head to the side in question.

Her smile dimmed a little when she saw what the female was going for. A rabbit? Dinner? Well, she would just have to help her by hunting with her.

"Well I had been hunting... but I'm afraid this hole led to my food getting away." She murmered, then shrugged. "I'll try again soon. It's nice to meet you, Temari." She was happy to learn that there were quite a few wild dogs around these parts, it kept her from being lonely.

"Ah, I'll help you if you would like to get another one?" She was fairly good at managing to hunt, she kept herself full at night on birds and things after all. "It's nice to meet you as well Binifu. So where're you from? Are you in a pack?" She knew that there was another pack out there, maybe even more, but she didn't know if Binifu was from there.

"Oh I would love that, Hunting with others is lots of fun." Mostly she had hunted with her mother, who wasn't around anymore. She passed on, but Binifu didn't bring that up. "I'm from these parts, I'm not sure waht to call it though." She gave a little chuckle and shook her head no to the second part, she wasn't part of a pack.

That made sense, after all, not all Wild Dogs had to be in a pack did they? No, they didn't. "Well, what do you want to hunt?" She leaned her front body down and let out a yawn, her hind quaters still in the air, tail wagging.

Binifu shrugged lightly. "Well I'm not sure, I like hunting the smaller antelope. They're easy, even with just two of us." Her ears tilted forward and her expression became questioning, wanting to know if this was okay with the other female.

Temari shrugged for a moment herself and then looked out over the horizon with her long sighted green eyes. Nothing really moved, that would mean that they would have to go and look for food instead of having it be anywhere near them.

Bah.

A smile lit up Temari's face and she nodded to Binifu politely. "Of course I'll hunt with you."

Bini also looked through the land. She didn't want to take this other all around, but maybe she would come for a little bit. The company would certainly be appreciated. "Maybe we will be lucky and something will be just over the horizon." She chuckled lightly, half joking and half hoping.

Wagging her white tipped tail, Temari started to trot off a little bit towards the horizon, glancing back at Bini to see if she was going to follow her. It was a long way to food, but since Temari could get across the savannah in the span of a day she didn't care how far away she was from her pack. She could get back to them again soon.

"Come on. If the two of us are lucky we'll find a whole nest of hares, or maybe just a couple of antelope." She smiled back at the larger female brightly.

Bini's tail flew back and forth as she rose and headed after the other, hunting was one of her favorite things to do, even though she wasn't very good at it. She hadn't admitted that to herself yet.

"Sounds good to me." She didn't know what else to talk about, so she didn't say anything else. She just kept her eyes open.
