Ascella was so glad she had stepped away from her life tonight. These patrol were becoming her place of peace away from her violin. While she loved her violin sometimes even she needed some time to rewind between school and violin competitions. So here she was doing that thing and patrolling. She looked around the road as she was walking and saw what looked to be spiderwebs. Which made sense since it was Halloween time but it didn't make sense for them to be so life like. So she decided to head over and investigate. The second she tried to step up on to the sidewalk her foot hit it the wrong way and she found herself now entangled in the spiderweb. "Oh no! Um is anyone there that could help me?" she said as she tried to get out, but felt that she was not having any luck.

Dia had a long day at school and was exhausted as she was driving home. She was paused at a light and was running her hand through her long, purple, curly hair, when someone crossing the street, caught her eye. It was definitely one of those strange Characters that not only dressed strangely, but seemed to be fighting an underground gang war. She sighed. At least this one wasn't causing trouble - just walking around as if she was ... patrolling...hmmm.

In the next second, she saw the girl suddenly go down and get caught in what looked like a giant spider web. The girl struggled to get free and couldn't, so called for help from the people around, but no one stopped to help, only stared at the girl. Dia cursed silently under her breath. No patient turned away. She pulled into a nearby parking lot, got out and locked her car. She then hesitantly walked over to the girl.
She announced herself, "Claudia Bones," then said to the girl, hold still I'm going to get you out of this."
Dia pulled out a small pocket knife and began cutting the girl free, her hands shaking (more from nervousness of being this girl, than the spiders).

Ascella was so happy someone was there to help her out of this crazy mess she was in. She felt some relief as she spoke, "Thank you so much for your help! I appreciate it." She could see the cobweb lines falling and with each one she felt like she was close to escaping. That was until she heard something moving behind her. She turned her head and noticed the web lines moving, like an invisible spider, and it was headed straight towards her. This invisible spider was swift and fast like no spider she had seen before. "Um I don't mean to rush you, but we may need to hurry!" one could hear the slight fear in her voice. Since something about this whole set up with the webs and hidden spiders was not sitting right with her. It seemed off somehow, and the girl was cutting pretty fast she could feel one of her hands get free, but it was to late as she went to smack the spider. The spider or whatever it was had already jumped and bitten the back of her neck. She started to feel nausea, dizziness, and fatigue all at one and in seconds. "I don't feel so good...." she said as she could hardly hold herself up on her feet now.

Dia inhaled sharply, then slapped what looked to be little droplets of dew away. Then she cut through the rest of the webbing. The girl was obviously sick from the bite. Should she take her to the hospital? No. As a senior pre-med student, she realized that that would be the worst thing to do for the girl. She rubbed her key card that announced her (and allowed her in certain areas of) school and that she was pre-med, in anxiety. Then she spoke quietly, "Looks like you are really sick. .. my family is going to be gone for a few days... Do you want to stay there, until you feel better?"

Ascella was a little nervous when she saw the area she was going into but she didn't question much. As she got there. She just found the nearest seat and sat down. She took a few breathes before responding and smiling as best she can. "I appreciate the offer - but I will be okay. Thank you so much for your offer and all your help! You have been a definite lifesave!" She finished with a smile. She sat there for a few moments before she pulled out a phone and texted for a family car to meet her at a place nearby. She figured she could find somewhere dark transform down and then head home. After she finished her message on her human phone. She sat there and waited till the dizziness passed a bit, when it did she stood up, and said, "Thank you for bringing me somewhere to recover! Would you be able to show me to the exit?"

Dia nodded. "This way." She had not expected the girl to be .. so ....nice and respectful. She waved goodbye. Her nieces and nephew would love to hear about this (at least Drew, Dria, and Dani would, Den and Dell, at nearly 3 years of age, would be too young to understand. Interestingly enough, Dia wanted to meet the girl again

Ascella waved back! "Thank you again! I will never forget this!" she quickly headed off to the right towards the nearest dark alley. She reminded herself to write this in journal when she got home and not only that but she figured she might take a few days off. Also from this day forth she was staying away from spiders. Never again would she let this happen.
