Be there in ten.
Ellian typed the messages out on his phone quickly, almost nervous as he stared down at the screen, waiting for any response or acknowledgement or sign that they’d been seen…
Yeeeeeah, it was probably a little shitty to spring this on Gideon last minute, but what choice did he really have? Ellian had kind of given this guy a panic attack or something? Not intentionally, but ‘intention’ hardly changed what actually happened. So it seemed like the least he could do was offer Wolframite a comfy place to settle down and grab a bite. The apartment he shared with Gideon wouldn’t have all the comforts of Negaspace or anything, but it was at least more private than anywhere else in the city: less threat of enemies wandering up on them and making a fight out of it.
…Though Wolframite might’ve preferred that to being in some stranger’s house. Ellian had to remember that not everyone really appreciated impromptu company like he did.
“I always make myself a snack when I’m done playing senshi for the night,” Ellian said conversationally as they walked up the sidewalk leading into his apartment complex, with very neatly manicured landscaping to either side of them. “So don’t even think it’s any extra trouble or anything, alright? I was planning on whipping up this southwest pasta thing I like? I hope you’re okay with a little spice!”
The food was no problem at all. The only awkward thing might be Gideon being a little unprepared to have a however-many-decades-experienced-glamored-half-youma-agent in their house. Gideon was usually pretty laid-back, so Ellian expected it’d be fine! And it was Saturday, so it wasn’t an imposition of anyone’s work or school schedule or anything. And someone like Wolframite would be a great asset to be able to rely on right? Like, it definitely couldn’t hurt!
“Ah, and the place might be a little messy, though. Gideon’s pretty neat, but I get too busy to keep up with cleaning every little mess that crops up. But definitely make yourself at home!”
He just really, really hoped Gideon wouldn't be too frustrated about it... By the time they were at the front door of the apartment, Ellian still hadn't heard anything back. He cast a quick, almost nervous glance down to his phone screen, then back to the doorknob. "Alright well, c'mon," he said as he turned the key in the lock and pushed inside.
