Quote: The Scream (4) - Late one night, you find yourself in a fairly under populated area of town. You’ve been strangely alone for the past few moments when you see movement out of the corner of your eye. Only a few yards away you see a young woman with tear-stained cheeks and a long white gown. It is difficult to make out any more details; she seems to be running from something. She looks like she is screaming but makes no sound; even her footsteps seem to be silent. If you try to chase her, you will wind up in a dead end—alone, and suddenly, cold. It feels like something has slammed into you and turned your blood to ice, but there’s no one around. No matter what you do, the chill remains until morning—but the image of the woman’s fear-filled face may haunt your dreams for much longer. There was always a party happening somewhere in Destiny City. Most of them were a dime a dozen though, it took a talented person to find the one's worth going to. Lori had been receiving invitations since the beginning of October. She could hardly make it to all of them, so which one was going to be the best? who was going where, what was being done. She ignored anything that seemed too kiddish. Bobbing for apples did not make a party. At least not one she wanted to go to.
There was one that showed some promise. It had a good guest list and it was taking place in a supposedly haunted house further away from the bustling city. And the party did not disappoint. People were dressed up great, no on running around with just some sheet thrown over themselves. Lori had kept her costume simple, but was quite the fashionable devil. The music had been great and the people were entertaining. The jungle juice actually tasted pretty good.
When all was said and done she had had fun. At times she was by Landry's side and at others times he'd disappear somewhere else. Still, things were winding down. Some people were definitely already sleeping in places they could find. She wouldn't be caught dead crashing at a party like this though, so she was searching the rooms for Landry so they could start to make their way home.

Landry... Didn't like parties. BUT he liked them alot more than a few years ago. Had Lori attempted to drag him out back then, she would have been met with so much resistance that they probably would have started fighting immediately after the first "So... There's this party..." that came out of her mouth! Compared to them, he was chill.
Added onto the fact that he had become a decently sociable person, the idea of a party for Halloween was met with a soft huff, rather than a full on meltdown, and he accompanied her like the proper brother should. Sorta.
He had to outright admit, there were some really lovely costumes this year. Dragons and devils and the occasional haunted priest. He himself came as the foil to Lori, and surprisingly sexy Angel compared to his sister's fashionable devil. What could he say? He'd grown up, and growing up meant enjoying the idea of eyes on him. Especially when he saw them gaze between him and Lori and then the gaze stopped to linger on him instead.
Yes... Highly satisfying.
But as with all good things, the party came to an end, and it was time to go. No more making out with a stranger in the shadows and slipping them his number, it was time to grab Lori and head on out. Luckily his shirt was back on, as was his companion's before she peeked in the door.
"Lori, you're supposed to knock." Came the light scolding as he wiped red lipstick from the corner of his lips and stood up proper. The person on the bed seemed disappointed, but not displeased at it all. And Landry even gave them a little wink before heading towards the door.
"Time to go?"

Prague had done wonder's to Landry's attitude. It might also have been a little bit of heart break, but that was all in the past now. If anything, he could be the heart breaker now. She quite liked this new sight to her twin. Who would have thought she'd be the one walking in on him in such a situation? She didn't have enough fingers or toes to count the amount of times she'd been on the receiving end of this.
"Sorry dear brother. My heads a little too foggy to be extra considerate right now." She had a smirk on her face and leaned past him for a moment to catch a look at the fish her brother had reeled in.
"If the angel's too sweet for you, you can always try the devil later." Lori smiled and hooked arms with her twin to lead them out of the spooky house. She was careful to avoid anyone slumped over on their way out. Hopefully someone was taking care of them, at worst they'd probably just have some terrible hang overs the next day.
They were finally out and down the stairs. There was a chill in the air, it helped her be rid of some of the fog in her brain. "Looks like you had fun tonight." She squeezed his arm as they walked. She was beaming from ear to ear, partying with Landry was fun. They didn't have to be attached at the hip either to enjoy it. It was rewarding to see him out there, having a good time.

"Ah, yes, the foggy excuse. That's fine." Another glance was given to the one still dazed on the bed, and a small wave was given to them. "I'm sure I wouldn't mind sharing a good morsel later, Sis. For now. Rest up well and get home safe, won't you?"
Whoever was on that bed seemed to die a little of bliss with two hotties flirting with them. Seeing them bite their lip had Landry near laughing as he and Lori finally left this chaotic party leftovers. Sure, he had a glass or two to drink, but he sobered up quite fast, and was more than ready to escort his sister back home.
The cool air was lovely, especially after all that heat that had built up in his body from his little rendezvous.
"I did. It's a shame their personality wasn't as good as their kisses were. Might be worth a hook up here and there, but... Sadly, no real catches tonight. How about you?"

Lori thought back on her night and while she had certainly found some enjoyable company here and there, she hadn't really found anyone super worth her time either. However, she did find quite a few people that would look good in her designs.
"I handed out my card to a few potential models. Got in some good dances and make outs, but other wise I more did work." Weird, a party and she was going to someone's house after or bringing someone home with her? What had happened? Ah well, it was fun, but sometimes fun came to and end.
"Ugh, I've changed a lot in a few years." At least she still knew how to find a good party.
They had been walking for some time now and oddly enough they hadn't seen anyone else. A party had just ended, shouldn't there be more people wandering about? No pranksters still prowling around this late into the evening? But then something to her right caught her attention and she froze.
"Landry, do you see that?" Maybe she hadn't sobered up enough in the chill air after all.

"Weren't you the one who lectured me about not knowing how to relax? Oh how the times have changed." A sympathetic pat was placed on Lori's shoulder. Honestly, this was for the best. They both had chilled out significantly, in the opposite directions. It made them more balanced and understanding of one another compared to before... And truly, it was something they both needed. Coming back to the city felt like a full breath of fresh air now, compared to it's stiflingness from before.
When did the crowd become so thin though? Everyone should still be out and about right now like they were, stumbling out to their own homes or to the next party. Yet there was no one.
Except for something odd... Right there... Out of the corner of his eyes.
He turned to follow after what Lori saw, but found nothing quite yet. Something had moved, but from where?
"It's too dark. What are you looking at? Do we need to.. take action?"
