He didn't even get a chance to ask himself why someone had left a damn die on the ground before he was in a completely different dimension or whatever the ******** this wind tunnel thought it was. Dumuzi smacked his hand into his chest as he coughed to catch his breath.
And then he saw a path.
Dumuzi knew what this was, at the least, even if he wasn't amused by whatever this s**t was. A game. And if it was something competitive, he knew he only had one job, one job he would succeed in over and over again.
win.

A two didn't feel like a win. He needed a ******** six. The highest number was almost always the winning number, except when it was the lowest number which sometimes happened with the right poker hand or ... whatever. Aces were weird. This was--
ow!
Dumuzi bit down on his lip and ground his feet into the ground to stop himself from skidding too far. Irritated, he glanced behind himself and growled, but he saw ... nothing.
Uh-huh.
Alright. No more of that s**t. He needed a better roll this time so he didn't summon the same wind ghost s**t that hit him when he entered this game. Enough of wind. Give him something else.

Three. Better, not great. Where was his six?
This was a total of five. He didn't know if that s**t meant anything-- Guess he'd find out once he kept walking.
Ah. Rabid dog.
To be honest, Dumuzi probably should have been a bit more scared than he was. The spittle was regarded down the bridge of his nose, despite the goosebumps up his arms. To be honest, if he had to, he could deal with this dog. He had hauled dogs around with him to win competitions. Or, well, not win. That possibility was not being considered. He wasn't going to acknowledge the lack of winning.
It would probably be for the best if he could get away from this dog, though. Wasn't going to help him win the game if he was busy getting growled at and spat on by a dog.

Three again. Still not six. What was with him today?
Definitely not the winning touch. What the hell kind of bullshit was going to be awaiting him without getting the win he wanted?
Snakes. Seriously? Was this s**t made to taunt him specifically? He had to carry a snake around during that competition he had definitely not lost--
Richtersveld had long told him to drop it. She was fairly sure everyone else beside for Don Diablos had been powered in some capacity because of what they were all wearing. Dumuzi didn't care. It was the one competition more recently that he hadn't won to at least some capacity--
He probably should let it go though. He had gotten some new ... buddies out of it.

Two. This dice ... die? ... dice really was taunting him.
It was probably die.
He felt his feet sink into something below him and couldn't help the scramble to get out of the smelly ick in response. It very quickly wasn't working. It, in fact, felt like it was putting downward pressure on his body, and while he knew that his tallness enabled him to not sink into quicksand longer, this wasn't exactly quicksand. It was a smelly quickmud. Or some other bullshit that he needed to get himself away from as quickly as possible, so it was time for him to roll the die again.
Dice?
Die.

One.
This was the worst so far, but at least he wasn't stuck in the quickmud that smelled like absolute death anymore. Or maybe the hospital. Not that the hospital had really smelled like something that rotten, but he could buy it smelling like death--
What the hell was making that noise? Birds?
What was the black bird with the stretchy arms that kinda looked like the buttwings of those corrupt eternal senshi? He had seen one of those during the He-Man competition.
Oh! Bat wings.
Bats.
Best to roll again before he had to get a damn rabies shot, because those things looked ******** painful--

[ doubled! ]
It felt like his legs had carried him far with that dash away from the potential rabies shot, and he let out a deep relieved breath when he thought he was safe.
That was, only to realize he wasn't safe at all.
The ground gave out below him, and Dumuzi swore it was only his quick reflexes that had allowed him to grip the side of the barely stable ground. His eyes were wide as his breath left his body for just a moment, only to come slamming back into him as he realized there wasn't a damn thing below him.
He had to go.
He yanked himself up and let his long legs carry him as far as possible as quickly as possible, leaping and bounding over every area that threatened to crack under his feet as he tumbled into the exit.
Why was he glowing now?
Wait.
Did he ******** win?
Dumuzi smirked, flicking the die upward into the air and down back into his hand. He knew he had that.
Maybe he should go brag to Gabe about it.
[assuming spot 20 as nothing else is available, exit!]
