The crowd were hotly anticipating the main event of the evening, a bout between hot newcomer Max Steel and grizzled veteran Trent. Murmurs were going through the crowd before..
Thunderstruck by AC/DC hit the PA, as the lights began to flash and flicker to the beat. The spotlights hit the stage as the screen behind flashed up.
Stepping out from behind the curtain came a dude looking cool as s**t, with a cyan top-knot and a tattooed head.
The cool cat walked straight down the ramp, slapping some fans' hands on the way, before rolling into the ring under the bottom rope. He raised a fist in the air to a small cheer from the crowd, before he removed his leather jacket and top, throwing them over the top rope to the outside.
Some fans remarked that it looked like he was sporting a man-thong under his bottoms.. and they weren't wrong!
He bounced on his toes and turned to face the ramp, ready for his opponent.

This was the first big show, but it was the true fans of wrestling who would be greeted with a very familiar theme. Whether it was in the land of the stars or the home grown talent. This man has done it all and was here tonight to continue his legacy and move forward.
Trent would walk out, moving through the smoke that billowed beneath his feet, concealing the stage and ramp, almost as if he were walking on the clouds above everyone else in this moment.
"Introducing at this time, from ST. Paul Minnesota. Weighing in tonight at 242 lbs.
TREEEEEEENT"
The Initiator would make his way down the ramp. Looking at the crowd to his side and farther out in the sea of people. Feeling the energy pour out from them. Despite this being a completely different scene, it was very reminiscent of everywhere else he has been, in the best of ways. Just with a fresh new twist.
Trent would make it to ringside. Taking a sharp left, climbing the steps, and entering the ring. His attention being sucked to his opponent who was currently inside the ring.
Max Steel.
This would be the first time these two would ever have a contest with one another in any regard. This was the magic of FWD as Trent was ready to meet all the talent he can to further grow and adapt. He couldn't forget that this match is also part of a tournament to crown the first FWD Heritage Champion. That will be sticking in the back of his mind for sure.
With all that being said, done, and thought out. The music of Trent would cut out. Leaving both men to take their positions within their corners and waiting for the tolling of the bell to get this contest underway.

The bell rang and the bout was underway, as Max looked at his opponent and then at the crowd. He raised one of his arms in to a flex, popping his bicep to another small cheer from the crowd.
As he looked back at Trent he cocked an eyebrow, to see what his reaction would be.

The match was underway and... his opponent was flexing. Well, this was a new age, wasn't it. Trent would obviously be a bit underwhelmed by the flex of the man in front of him. But he wouldn't use all his time to cringe at it. Stepping outside his corner, Trent began to approach the young upstart, seeing how he responds when he is approached with his opponents guard up.

Max watched as Trent came towards him and took a step back, putting his hand out, in what looked like a friendly handshake.
"Max, Max Steel.. the pleasure is all yours."

This guy can't be serious. Trent approached Max. And instead of a lock-up, he would be offered a handshake. Trent would lower his guard, staring at his opponent, than at the extended hand.
The crowd would be cheering for the handshake. Trent, slowly extending his hand, would grab the hand of Max Steel. Shaking it. But he would not make any comment past the snarky remark of Max, instead he would just keep shaking his hand.

Max put on a broad, toothy, smile as Trent accepted the handshake. Steel came in closer so that their shoulders were touching, and whispered in Trent's ear.
"Keep it going, they're gonna love this!"
He stepped back and continued the handshake for a few moments, before looking to release it, expecting a big cheer from the crowd.

The crowd would cheer, but Trent was not letting go of the handshake. He would continue to grasp the hand of Max and shake it against the will of Steel.

Trent continued the shake and Max looked a bit taken aback, as he eyed up Trent. He looked out at the crowd and gave that signature smile again before saying under his breath to his opponent,
"Chill out a bit.."

Trent would smile as he continued to shake his opponent's hand. Starting to apply a bit of pressure on the thumbs metacarpal. Digging down with his thumb. All while saying to the rookie,
"You told me to keep it going."
An obvious jab at Steel who was trying to call shots on some sort of publicity stunt between the two.

Max grinned awkwardly again and looked at the ref, giving him a look as if he was almost asking for help. The ref just shrugged and waited for the action to happen.
Steel turned to Trent and gave him another smile, before aiming a strike to his face!

The strike would connect, causing Trent to stumble back, but the grip was not released from the hand of Trent.
Instead, Trent began to turn his back back to Max Steel, the smile that was present just moments ago was now gone. Just leaving Trent to clamp down harder on the hand.

Max didn't quite know what to do as he tried to slap down on the wrist of Trent, attempting in some way or another to break the hold!

Well. There was good news and bad news for Max.
Good news. He broke out of the hold with the slap down.
Bad news. Trent looked to use the opening Max had given him by slapping down on his other hand, to throw his free arm in the direction of the face of Max with a forearm!
