The Scream (4) - Late one night, you find yourself in a fairly under populated area of town. You’ve been strangely alone for the past few moments when you see movement out of the corner of your eye. Only a few yards away you see a young woman with tear-stained cheeks and a long white gown. It is difficult to make out any more details; she seems to be running from something. She looks like she is screaming but makes no sound; even her footsteps seem to be silent. If you try to chase her, you will wind up in a dead end—alone, and suddenly, cold. It feels like something has slammed into you and turned your blood to ice, but there’s no one around. No matter what you do, the chill remains until morning—but the image of the woman’s fear-filled face may haunt your dreams for much longer.
Shedir had been so excited that Halloween was here. This was her time of year the time of year she lived for! It was a time when mummies were normal and there were bat and cobweb decorations hanging from her family's hotel ceiling. She loved candy, the costumes and the decorations. Everything to do with Halloween she loved - it was also after all her literal birthday - October 31st. There was nothing that could make this time of year better for her. Which was why she figured that she might as well go out and patrol.
So here she was running down the sidewalk ready to patrol this late night. The only thing was she looked around her, and the area she was in was the center of town. Even at night this area was full of life. That is except tonight - it was oddly quiet. She couldn't help but shake the feeling something was odd. She quickly scanned the area, looking for any signs of trouble. She didn't see anyone suspicious, but she still felt uneasy. "Hello?" she said aloud.
