One Foggy Night (6) - As the seasons shift, the temperature changes too. It’s not uncommon for fog to roll in, sometimes from the mountains, sometimes out of nowhere. This fog is particularly thick and difficult to see through; Destiny City has issued several weather warnings and cautions being out or driving at night. It’s easy to get lost and difficult to see obstacles. Not to mention the strange, smothering sensation of dread and fear that rolls in with the fog. While there is sometimes the sensation of being watched, it worsens when the sun goes down. Some have even said they’ve caught glimpses of a tall, horned figure traveling with the fog. The news has reported that this is probably just a side effect of climate change and suspects that weather patterns should return to normal towards the end of the month.
Even if the chills were gone from the night before, that woman's face stuck clearly in her mind. It didn't scare her so much as it made her so very angry at the shitty men in this city. Tonight, on this foggy night, she would hunt more of them down. Whatever she could do to prevent others like her from getting hurt.
Something was odd in the fog though, it felt like something was watching her. Part of her thought she saw something else in there with her, not a person but something large. If anything happened she had her own creature to go up against whatever lurked in the fog. It made her just a little nervous but, she knew she had some things in subspace to give her an advantage if she needed to run.
Walking through the alleys to make her way back to where she had seen the woman last night, she reached out her senses to try and see what other trouble might come to greet her this evening. She felt a few things here and there but the fog made it harder, at least she felt like it did.
