Eric Bischoff: So uh, yeah I was actually on vacation in Yellowstone and only got to see a few pieces of last week show. But from what I'm hearing CWF completely destroyed WWFG in the ratings war last week. Just utterly trounced them. I mean, we have the numbers here if you want to talk about it? But I just, man. There's so much going on with this company Conrad.
Conrad Thompson: Yeah, and it's been a really hard time backstage in WWFG. And if you're having a hard time maintaining an erection, do I have great news for you: That's right folks, it's Blue Chew. Try Blue Chew free using the promo code and pay just $5 dollar shipping. Yes everybody, again, that's Blue Chew. Get your first month off free and start with a trial today. And you know, it's funny you mention that Eric because Meltzer has reported some stuff on the unfolding situation..
Eric Bischoff: Meltzer? Oh, so if it came from him then it must be true. Let me tell you something Conrad, if I had a nickel for everytime this Meltzer guy, who, phenomenal businessman, but if I had a nickel for everytime this guy said something and it was wrong? Phew. And now.... THIS guy has an office job with WWFG? You know, it really never ceases to amaze me the depths that people in this business would sink to. But hey, that's their prerogative. Obviously those numbers will speak for themselves.
Conrad Thompson: I mean yeah, we knew it was looking bad for WWFG. But now it's come out that there's all kinds of turmoil in the lockerroom after last show. Now we've learned that Summers is now on the outs with the company after going into business for himself no-selling the finish for the tag match last week. Can you believe that, Eric?
Eric Bischoff: No, I mean, look, I worked for Hulk. I know how guys like Summers think. You have Salem Croft basically strong arming management into going over, like he always does. From what I heard, claiming that he has to go other to be kept strong for... For who... Hiro and Cyrus?
Conrad Thompson: Now, Cyrus,I get. He's a made man. But Hiro? The guy who hasn't won a single match since returning to WWFG? Who, frankly, is what we would call a good hand in this business and clearly starting to slow down in the ring... You want to be kept strong for that?
Eric Bischoff: It doesn't make any sense. And then you have this stuff about the women's division in WWFG? With a roster that's already this stretched thin? When you're already struggling to draw houses, struggling to do ratings. A Summers title match should be a Wrestlemania type event, and you're jobbing this guy out on TV? I don't get it. You know, Cornette I don't agree with on everything and lord knows he doesn't agree with me. But on this I have to agree: CWF is hot and WWFG is not. There is absolutely no WAY someone like Stephanie McMahon would, quite frankly, fumble, a once in a lifetime talent like Summers.
Conrad Thompson: Of course, lots of speculation that the real reason BS wants to leave is to protect his name value and avoid getting blamed for the ratings downturn--
Eric Bischoff: Oh please. As if he's the only one that isn't thinking about jumping ship. You've heard all the names. Multiple people have threatened to quit this company in just the span of a few weeks. This is clearly a sinking ship and trust me, I know it when I see it.There isn't a single person in that locker room who wouldn't love to sign on that dotted line. Hell, they won't even book Better Than You Anymore. And why? Politics. That's what WWFG is about and that's all it has ever been. A bunch of high school cliques sniping at eachother. It's pathetic.
Conrad Thompson: But does that justify going into business for yourself? I mean, we knew Summers was losing from the second we saw his face out there. That's always been the rap on him.
Eric Bischoff: And I don't blame him one bit, Conrad. Like I said, it's a sinking ship and everyone in that locker room knows it. The only thing stopping them from walking out like they did back in the day? Fear of the unknown. In 2011 they could all stay in their incestuous little highschool cliques and put eachother over. But now? They have to compete with a real meritocracy in CWF. And quite frankly, there's a lot of guys in that WWFG locker room who simply wouldn't and couldn't cut it with the reals. That's why they pushed them out in 08, and of course, now we know with the recent archival project that a huge amount of the title history of WWFG itself was fabricated to erase the accomplishment of these people.
Conrad Thompson: People like John Cena. Randy Orton. Shawn Michaels. Ken Kennedy. And while Brantley Summers was no real,he understands what it's like to have his title history erased better than anybody.
Eric Bischoff: That he does Conrad, that he does. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Conrad Thompson: That we will. That we will.
