A lot of stuff happened in the opener. Can't go full detail, but Battle in the Valley had a wild start to this promotion's "new history". There's no telling how the Odio vs. Marquis match went, but it's clear that it was not fit for the marquee as the main event was El Odio vs. The Masked Celestial. The crowd that so viciously hated him earlier that night were suddenly cheering him on after possibly gaining sympathy for him after the angle that might've happened in the opener. You gotta remember, the northeast was not known for hot angles happening regularly so to start off with one was mind blowing. The booker just needs to make sure to keep things on a leash and let the angle ride a bit before someone else gets all involved. In the crowd there is a much younger Paul Summers who cheered Celestial earlier as well. Celestial showed up and rassled, much like Paul wanted to do as he got older. Maybe do some coaching. There's no telling how much influence The Masked Celestial would have on future generations; especially as a hot blooded character from Parts Formerly Known. Celestial still had a wince and a limp as he would head to ring to face the dreaded foreign menace. Why Odio is a foreign menace but Masked Celestial isn't? Questions were raised but no one had an answer, only adding to the mystery of The Masked Celestial.

Celestial rolled his arms in circles and slapped his chest a couple of times before stepping to the center of the ring. He was looking at El Odio with caution, knowing the Odio was quick on his feet. The Masked Celestial kept his hands up as he motioned for Odio to come meet him in the middle.

The quick towards sent Celestial to the mat. He most likely had some damage from the match earlier, maybe even had a jumping double stomp to his knee. There's no telling. Odio made the large masked man yell in pain as he reached up and grabbed at air showing the pain he was in to the crowd. Not too dramatically though, Celestial had to protect the business.

Celestial had his shoulder locked up into some serious 70s lucha style technical wrestling. The kind of wrestling Celestial knew how to hang with. The other masked wrestler seemed to be wearing the main masked man down as Celestial slapped his midsection to gain power through crowd support to break the hold.

El Odio was set up for massive push in the Fed. Really appealed to varying demographics in a way that Roundabout Lee Marquis couldn't. Celestial heard the crowd and knew this man would push so much heat into him, he might sit on a card and still make money. The knife edge chop was so loud the men in the middle rows started pulling knives thinking they might have to protect their new hero. The Masked Celestial caved at the chop and bounced immediately back up expecting another one. He was a worker. Good cardio.

The crowd heard the thunderous clap of the chop. The BOOM, if you wheel. Celestial's chest was turning ground beef red as he nailed his back bump and fell straight down. Celestial would shake his hands up as the Masked fan favorite came back up, chest out towards Odio looking to nail an overhand karate chop to the evil luchador.

The man from Parts Unknown saw the luchador ask for another chop and the Celestial would oblige. Whirling his arm as he grabbed the head of Odio, Celestial would aim for another overhand karate chop. It was clear Odio drew from Gorilla Martinez from the mid-50's with his mannerisms. A man Celestial came to know quite well touring the Pflugerville territory.
