Game board ThreadLabradorite was walking with her sister patrolling the area when she paused, "Do you see that?" She asked looking at the small set of dice on the ground. Ironically it looked like there was one for each of them.
It was maybe old? "Who do you suppose dropped their dice?" She asked as she bent down to pick it up. It wasn't like anything bad would happen right? In a city full of weird magic and things happening, this was fairly boring and ordinary.Carrollite paused as her sister noticed the dice on the ground. "I highly doubt it's anything of importance if they've left them on the ground." She said though she also was curious, the dice looked much fancier than your typical dice so maybe someone was going to miss these two for their DnD sessions.
Carrollite shrugged as she bent down to also inspect the dice watching when her sister reached down to grab one, she decided to snag the other. The issue was neither obviously expected to be dragged into some weird space. "Woah what the ******** was that?"
Carrollite looked around suddenly realizing her and Labs wasn't on the sidewalk anymore but in some weird room. "I don't think I like this Labs." She said softly.Labs paused as she looked around when they were dragged into this weird space and sighed, "I don't either . . . is this some sort of DnD joke?" She asked as looked around with another sigh.
"I wonder. . . . if this is some sort of game we play? What you think Carrols?" She asked looking towards her sister before deciding to try and roll the dice to see what happened. What's the worst that I could happen right?
She felt a tug and moved to the space that the dice indicated. Which was just a few steps forward to get to the first space. She wiggled her nose because suddenly she heard a chuckle and was feeling rather judged by some unknown source. "Yeah . . . this is going to be great."
She rolled her eyes back to her sister, "What you getting on the roll?"Carrols watched as her sister rolled the dice and was suddenly annoyed there was a slight grimace. "Alright, I'll bite but the fact you're already annoyed does not make me interested in doing this." She admitted as she rolled her dice and moved the 6 spots that seemed to be indicated. When she stepped into the square she suddenly froze and was trying not to jump when something suddenly made a weird almost PFAFF noise and she felt things flying by her. She couldn't explain it but she wanted out of this square before she was struck with whatever those were.
"Labs what'd you get us into?" She asked trying very hard not to move too much.Dice 1: LabradoriteQuote: Roll: 1 Spot:1 You feel eyes upon you, and hear a faint chuckling, like you’re the butt of someone’s joke. It sets a bad mood for the rest of this game; you’re already being judged–and, it looks like a long road ahead. Dice 2: CarrolliteQuote: Roll: 6 Spot:6: You hear a shrill, humming noise; it sounds almost like something is firing past you–and sometimes, you even feel a sharp burst of air, like something has just missed you. Maybe, even, it does get a slice out of you. Sharp, bladelike threads seem to string up around you; you’d best be careful not to get cut on any of them between now and your next dice roll.

Labs sighed when her sister asked what she got them into. She was still very annoyed at the chuckling and feeling like she was the butt of a joke. "Don't blame me you also grabbed one of these dice. We're both at fault."
Her tone was very clearly that of annoyance and it seemed to make the chuckling intensify. Labs rolled the dice again hoping to get away from the laughter maybe into something better square wise. Well, it would've been better if there wasn't suddenly a dog barking as if it was going to tear her apart. "s**t!" There wasn't anything to hop onto to try and escape the invisible beastie "I do not like this whoever is the game master is an a*****e." Labs said as she was trying to figure out how to escape the dog when she couldn't move out of the square.Carrols rolled her dice and managed to escape the objects whizzing by her head, she was pretty sure she lost a few strands of hair and felt like there were some grazes that she couldn't see. To a square that was quite she sighed as if relieved and no sooner had she done that she looked around panicked.
"Ohhhhhhh noo not bats anything but bats!" She squeaked trying to cover her hair, she did not want them in her hair. She tried to wave them off as she smacked her with their wings, screeched at her and pretty much dive bombed her. "Pleaseeee not my hair!" She sobbed as she tried to get them off. There was a few things that were on her list of do nots and this was one of those.Dice 1: LabradoriteQuote: Roll: 4 Spot: 5 A dog barks, fierce and frightening. You can hear its growl and the hackles stand up on the back of your neck. You can practically feel spittle on you. It’s close. And it’s big. And it’s angry. If this beastly dog could reach you, no doubt it would try to tear you to shreds. Dice 2: CarrolliteQuote: Roll: 5 Spot: 11 You hear a frantic flapping above you, but that’s all the warning you get before a hoard of bats descend. They scratch and slap and screech, but you avoid getting bitten. For now. You’ve invaded their space and they seem keen to defend it. You can try to fight them, but the only way to escape them is to roll again.

Labs was looking at her sister in front of her with some concern while rolling the dice to try and get away from the invisible dog and couldn't be more thrilled to be moving away.
Though it was short lived, "Hang in their Carrols I'll try to save you." She wasn't sure how well that'd work but her sister was a sobbing mess and apparently there was bats. And it sounded like she also probably found bats as she heard twitching and flapping that reminded her of bats. She knew her sister hated bats just because there was some random unfounded fear of them living in her hair.
Labs was slowly starting to feel dizzy as she heard high pitched shrills and noises. They seemed to be just the highest possible noises that made people feel sick and she was not any exception. "Ugh... this place makes me feel sick." She muttered as she tried to move but couldn't get out of the square.Carrols was still sobbing as she found the dice through terrified tears and rolled to try to escape the insanity that was the bats. She was hoping she'd escaped them, but suddenly she found them in this square too. They were swooping down now and trying to bite her. She squealed again and dropped to the ground trying to find cover she was very much not paying attention to her sibling who was seemingly getting more and more nauseous.
However, when a bat finally bit her Carrol's attitude switched from terrifying sobbing to angry terrified sobbing. She started swinging more viciously at the bats trying to make them go away, she was also starting to feel hungry. "Get away from me!!!!" She yelled at the bats.Dice 1: LabradoriteQuote: Roll: 2 Spot: 7 Something is twitching and flapping above you, and while you might be minding your own business, something is a little too invested in what you’re doing. You can’t see them, but you suddenly hear shrill, high pierced noises that are disorienting and confusing. They can bring about dizziness and pain and can cause vertigo if you’re stuck in them for too long. Dice 2: CarrolliteQuote: Roll: 4 Spot: 15 Bats. Maybe you missed them attacking earlier, but they’re back again, and angrier than ever. Instead of just screeching or scratching, they’re swooping down and biting now–and the effects are instantaneous. The little teeth are sharp and painful, but once bitten you might feel agitated and prone to violence, and you might feel perpetually cold and hungry with no relief in sight. The effects might last when you leave the square–or they might linger for a few hours or days after you get out of here.

Labs had managed to roll and escape the last square but the relief was short lived as she felt like she was stepping into a swamp. The smell and the sensation of walking into swamp water was insane. She sighed "I'm already so done with this place." She muttered trying to look around for her sister when she finally got the dizziness to subside.Carrols managed to roll the dice though still very much agitated and terrified she moved into the new square where she suddenly hearing a sharp crack and a series of smaller cracks. She paused and looked around, was this . . . ice? She didn't have long to process before she felt the ground drop from beneath her and she ended up in frigid water. She was very much not having fun with this.
"I want to s-s-speak to the game master!" She called teeth chattering as she grabbed onto the nearest ice block and held on. She froze again however when something swam past her legs.Dice 1: LabradoriteQuote: Roll: 3 Spot: 10 A swampy smell fills the air. You take a step, and you seem to sink into it. Mud creeps over your feet, and you sink rapidly. Ankle deep, knee deep. Whether or not you squirm and fight against it, you are sinking. The mud is crushing and painful, and if you sink too deep it steals the breath from your lungs. There’s nothing to grab onto; you have to roll your dice quickly before that too gets sucked into the muddy quicksand. Dice 2: CarrolliteQuote: Roll: 1 Spot: 16 As you step into your square, something cracks. At first, you can’t tell what it is, but as your full weight moves onto the square, the ground shifts beneath you. It’s cold, and it’s ice, and a hole falls underneath you, plunging you into frigid waters. There’s enough floating ice that you should still be able to roll the dice to get out of here, but you have to go quickly–you’re soaked, in chilly water, and something just swam by your feet.

Labs was glad she was able to roll to get out of the swamp, but it seemed short lived as she got into the new square she heard the patter of small feet. There was a pause and the Lt looked around and she cringed, rats.
They looked hungry. and all she could do was nope. She did not want to deal with rats. Those were the last of critters she wanted to deal with. Why not a yoiuma? That'd been better. "I gotta get outa here." She was moving and throwing the dice at the same time hoping to escape from this nightmare.Carrols last roll seemed to free her she was shivering sitting on the ground, hungry, angry and lowkey terrified of everything that just happened in the short time span of being on the game board. She didn't want to deal with this anymore and she was looking towards her sister -- who was still stuck in the game.
It would be easy just to leave now and not find out if her sister escaped. Find something to eat, some way to warm up. Somewhere to let her anger out maybe accost some poor civilian who happened to cross her unwittingly. But she sat there watching her sister.
Before finally slowly standing up. Labs had this, she didn't need to wait for her. Carrols turned and headed into the light sure the other would follow soon, she was too irritated to help her sister anyways.Dice 1: LabradoriteQuote: Roll: 3 Spot: 13 At first, the square is quiet. Nothing seems amiss. It’s unnerving in how safe it seems. But then, it only takes a few seconds before you understand why. It’s just taken a moment for them to get to you. The patter of tiny feet is rapidly approaching. There’s no light to see them, but there’s a reflection in their beady eyes. Rats. Thousands of them. Chittering, frothing in the mouth. These are strangely grotesque, mutated abominations. They’re running at you like they haven’t got a fear in the world–only, hungry. And rage. If they get to you, they’ll eat you alive. The ground is trembling with their weight. You’d better roll quickly if you don’t wind up a meal. Dice 2: CarrolliteQuote: Roll: 6 Spot: 20 The end; once you have arrived here you are free to leave. You will see be basked in the glow of a beautiful, opalescent aura that will take you back home. If you arrived with a guest, you can leave without them or choose to stay until they make it to the end as well. When you arrive back in Destiny City, you may choose to keep the six sided die–if nothing else, it’s pretty! Though, it doesn’t seem to have any magical qualities, that might be for the best.

Labs had been a good amount of squares behind her sister and even saw her sister just leave her to the rats. The LT wrinkled her nose as she managed to roll to escape the nightmare.
"Ohhh that sister of mine. Just wait until she needs help again." Labs muttered feeling quite gross from swamp water and everything else she'd encountered. "But first I need a bath."
She headed into the light hoping it'd take her back to the city so she could get cleaned up and then be able to go find her sister to try and get back at just leaving. "You can run away but you won't hide from me Carrolsss" She called almost tauntingly after her sister. Just because neither of them could do anything for the other, the least Carrols could've done was wait.Dice 1: LabradoriteQuote: Roll: 5 * 2 Spot: 20 The end; once you have arrived here you are free to leave.
