Tea was walking along with her sister, Byakko when she noticed something weird on the ground. "Byakko! Look, it's . . . a dice?"
She started to pick it up when Byakko stopped her and she looked at her sister as if to ask why she stopped her.
Byakko tried not to flail, "Woahhhhh," She grabbed Tea by the arm and pulled her back a bit, "Easy tiger, that looks weird I'm not sure I'd touch it." The 22 year old sighed as she had to reign back her 18 year old chibi sister. How tea was still a chibi she wasn't sure but it was annoying enough the baby sister was still the baby.
"It looks weird and old . . . " Byakko said as she stooped down to look at the wooden dice with fossilized opal in it and gilded numbers.
No sooner than Byakko had knelt down to look at the dice Tea got a weird feeling, "B-byakko..." She said as she looked around the area around them suddenly went pitch black and all she could see was some sort of weird area in front of them, "I think it was a trap." She was looking at the game board that unfurled in front of them and she tried to step forward only to hit an invisible wall, same when she tried to step back or to the side.
"Huh. . . . uh we're trapped." She muttered looking at her sister, "Now what do we do?"
Byakko's nose wrinkled as she looked around and seemed to think when she realized they were trapped in some weird dimension this was fannnnntastic. "I guess we play." she answered her sister as she looked around, "It seems like it might be the only option since you just tried to move out of this . . . squared area."
There was another moment as she thought, "I feel like we're in some twisted version of Jumnji."

Quote: Dice 1: Tea - 2 spaces Current Location: Spot 2 Quote: Space 2:Something pale and ghostly slams into your back; you don’t see it, but it feels like it’s trying to push you forward–or to the side, or off the path. Thankfully, the magical glass walls stop you from going too far, but this is jarring–and might hurt. Tea paused as she was looking around, twisted jumnji might be correct. "I guess. . . I'll roll first?" She said looking around a bit before she finally picked up the dice and rolled it. She looked at her sister, "I guess I need to move two spaaaaccc----eeess" She squeaked as she was moved to the spot which caused her to draw out her word a bit
"OH I guess it's like no now, if you roll." She said turned back to look at her sister with a frown. Suddenly there was something that slammed into her shoving her into the invisible glass wall that she was facing and she jumped trying to hold her fists up to fight -- whatever had just disappeared. "OH s**t, I think we need to get out here fast."
She was rubbing her face and well her back some too. "That hurt."Quote: Dice 2: Byakko - 3 spaces Current Location: Spot 3 Quote: Space 3:A strange fog rolls in once you land here. You lose sight of nearly everything, including the game board. If you want to roll, you’re going to have to get close to the ground to even see where you’re supposed to go next. Hopefully nothing sneaks up behind you. Byakko had tried to grab the dice before her sister she wanted to know what was going to happen, to see if it was safe for her sister to try and roll but too late. Tea had beat her to the die roll. "Woah!" Byakko tried to grab her sister when she was forcefully moved forward.
"Oh man what's going on?" She looked panicked as she looked towards the die on the ground. "I . . . guess its my turn." Byakko took a moment to take a deep breath and roll the dice, she got a three. Having taken note that Tea got moved forcefully forward she started walking hoping she was allowed to move to her spot without being moved.
When she got there she turned to look at her sister. "I don't like this, have I said that yet?" She wrinkled her nose, "This seems like there's something bigger h---" There was a pause as think fog started to fill the area she was standing in. She hadn't noticed it to start with but now it was painfully obvious as she couldn't see anything. "Yeahhh we need to get out of here." She muttered hoping there was nothing living in the fog very much like the Steven King novel. "Hey sis, you okay?" Byakko called as she ducked to the floor to roll the dice again hoping that nothing else would happen.

Quote: Dice 1: Tea - 6 spaces Current Location: Spot 8 Quote: Space 8:Something slithers across your foot, so fast that you might have thought you imagined it. Except, a few seconds later, it happens again. And then, again. Snakes keep moving across your space. If you move, they see you–and they might bite. Some of them hiss, some are capable of spraying a poisonous liquid that can cause itchiness or burning. Tea sighed, "I think I'm good. . . ." She rolled her die again, "I hope we get a better square than what we're on . . ." She paused as she was moved again, "Now. . . " she shivered as she ended up on a square where she was pretty sure there were snakes
"Why Snakes!?" She couldn't, no. Nope, nu-huh. "Oh god we gotta get out of this square" She whined when she saw her sister join her. She wasn't sure how to roll the die with the snakes all over and she really didn't want to deal with these critters.Quote: Dice 2: Byakko - 5 spaces Current Location: Spot 8 Byakko sighed when she got out of the fog, she couldn't see so she allowed the game board to move her However, it was short lived when the other said there were snakes. "Ugh, I didn't break anything to repel snakes Why? Who's sick twisted idea is this!?" She asked looking around very unhappy she was trying not to move as they slithered across her feet. She knew her little sister was very much scared of snakes and well neither of the wanted to be bitten but the dice were both on the ground and well - - Byakko slowly stooped down and snagged the dice. She tried very hard not to draw attention to herself but unfortunately, she actually did catch the attention of one of the snakes. The snake tried to bite but also sprayed some sort of poison and made Byakko very itchy.
"Ugh here," She said as she quickly handed her sister the dice, "We need to roll quickly to get out of here."Tea softly nodded her head looking at her sister terrified of the slithering snakes. "O-okay." She also was looking concerned since Byakko had gotten sprayed with some sort of poison and the snakes tried to bite her. "A-are you okay?" She asked as Byakko was scratching where the poison had landed.
Tea rolled her die and let it fall to the floor hoping they got a good roll this time.

Quote: Dice 1: Tea - 5 spaces Current Location: Spot 13 Quote: Space 13:At first, the square is quiet. Nothing seems amiss. It’s unnerving in how safe it seems. But then, it only takes a few seconds before you understand why. It’s just taken a moment for them to get to you. The patter of tiny feet is rapidly approaching. There’s no light to see them, but there’s a reflection in their beady eyes. Rats. Thousands of them. Chittering, frothing in the mouth. These are strangely grotesque, mutated abominations. They’re running at you like they haven’t got a fear in the world–only, hungry. And rage. If they get to you, they’ll eat you alive. The ground is trembling with their weight. You’d better roll quickly if you don’t wind up a meal. Tea stooped down quickly to grab the dice while everything was quite, but it wasn't long lived. She watched as she saw eyes from the shadows, and suddenly. Rats. Hundreds, no thousands of rats. She squealed in terror "Oh no, no, no." The senshi of mice was not dealing with rats. This was not the great mouse detective and those were not Rattigans goons.
"Come onnnnnn dice, come on." She begged as she rolled, "Pllleeease get me out of hereeeee. Byakkkoooo." She cried as she was trying to escape the insanity. She did not like Jumji, nope not at all, even if this wasn't that her sister compared it so nope that game could go burn.Quote: Dice 2: Byakko - 3 spaces Current Location: Spot 11 Quote: Space 11:You hear a frantic flapping above you, but that’s all the warning you get before a hoard of bats descend. They scratch and slap and screech, but you avoid getting bitten. For now. You’ve invaded their space and they seem keen to defend it. You can try to fight them, but the only way to escape them is to roll again. Byakko did not get to catch her breath or stop from scratching as she was moved to the next square she heard flapping above her head and she looked up. She looked down quickly for the dice as she saw Bats and they started pelting her and scratching. Grabbing her hair and she heard her sister scream. Obviously whatever Tea had ended up getting into was not her cup of well . . tea. "It'll be okay, it's just a game." She called over to her little sister.
She hoped she was right, it was just a game they would get out. They just had to make it to the end. It couldn't be that hard right? She rolled her own die hoping to get a better square.

Quote: Dice 1: Tea - 6 spaces Current Location: Spot 19 Quote: Space 19:You’re so close! Almost at the end! But the space you’re standing on shifts and shakes and seems to crumble beneath you. You have to hold on; there’s nowhere to fall but down into the deep abyss. If you manage to hang on for long enough, you find some invisible purchase and can pull yourself back up, but it’s quite the ordeal. Make sure you don’t get cut on falling spaces! The ground restores itself once you roll again. Tea gave a soft sigh, it seemed the space was standing on was -- better? At least for a minute, it was close to the end. She was thankful until the ground shook underneath her. Tea suddenly felt like she was in a Mario game where the ground just fell away and she was left hanging for dear life trying to avoid the crumbling ground and falling into the darkness under her. "Oh god, please don't be how this ends."
She was clinging to the edge, "Byakko!? Byakko where are you!?" She called. Hoping her sister really wasn't that far away. Unaware that Byakko was still stuck back at space 12.Quote: Dice 2: Byakko - 1 spaces Current Location: Spot 12 Quote: Space 12:The smell of smoke is in the air. You can’t see what’s burning, but you can hear distant screams, and–carnival music? It feels like people are running past you, and the air fills with panic and alarm–but there’s nowhere for you to go, and the smoke is so thick. You’d better roll quickly so you can get out of here. She didn't get moved far, but it was enough to get her away from the bats. That was a plus. . . the downside was the carnival music. Not only that, the screaming, fire alarms, smoke, people running past her that she really couldn't see or make out. The smoke was very thick.
She could hear Tea calling her, "TEA!?" She called back, it seemed mixed into the insanity of this square, like her sister was there with her but needing help, "TEA, where are you!?" She tried to follow the other senshi's call but hit a wall.
Byakko made a noise of frustration and tried to look for the dice. It was hard to see because of the smoke and really hard to breathe. She ripped off a piece of her fuku and dropped to the ground. There she managed to find the dice and give it a roll. "TEA!!!! I'm coming. Hang on please, make sure to roll!" She couldn't see her sister but something said the other needed that encouragement.Tea could hear her sister call her and she nodded looking for where the die was sitting just out of reach if she couldn't pull herself up from the dangling position she was stuck in.
"Alright, we're going to do this. . . " She said to herself, and she gathered all her upper body strength and somehow by some small luck she found a good place to hold onto and pull herself out of danger from falling into the abyss, sitting close enough to the dice to snag it and roll. . . .

Quote: Dice 1: Tea - 6 spaces Current Location: Spot 20 Quote: Space 20:The end; once you have arrived here you are free to leave. You will see be basked in the glow of a beautiful, opalescent aura that will take you back home. If you arrived with a guest, you can leave without them or choose to stay until they make it to the end as well. When you arrive back in Destiny City, you may choose to keep the six sided die–if nothing else, it’s pretty! Though, it doesn’t seem to have any magical qualities, that might be for the best. Tea had just rolled to her freedom, she let the game board move her, she was looking back towards the spaces looking for her sister, who still seemed to be stuck. There was a frown as she sat in the glow of an opalescent aura. It was nice to be free but her poor sister. . .
"Byakko hurry up!" She called as she shifted so she was sitting cross legged.Quote: Dice 2: Byakko - 3 spaces Current Location: Spot 15 Quote: Space 15:Bats. Maybe you missed them attacking earlier, but they’re back again, and angrier than ever. Instead of just screeching or scratching, they’re swooping down and biting now–and the effects are instantaneous. The little teeth are sharp and painful, but once bitten you might feel agitated and prone to violence, and you might feel perpetually cold and hungry with no relief in sight. The effects might last when you leave the square–or they might linger for a few hours or days after you get out of here. Byakko was less than thrilled. She got out of the smoke filled square just to end up with more bats, she stayed on the ground as the bats swooped after her and were actually biting her, some got her fuku but others actually got skin. She grumbled as she felt the effects starting to irritate her and she was actually kind of hungry and cold. This was not good.
The senshi of the west was very much ready to be done with this game. She heard her sister call to hurry up "I'm hurrying as fast as I can, it's not like you're helping me." She called back with the amount of grumpies that was mustered by this whole magical effect. She grabbed the dice and rolled it again.

Tea looked concerned when her sister sounded exceedingly grumpy. She frowned as she sat there waiting for her sister. "I'm sorry?" She said softly hoping that Byakko was okay, she wasn't sure what those bats were doing but it clearly caused some of this.
As she watched her sister move into the next squares, she had a feeling that wasn't any better at all.Quote: Byakko - 3 spaces x 2 Current Location: Spot 20 Something must have felt bad for Byakko as she moved squares. She realized she ended up beside her sister. Giving a sigh though she was still hungry and cold. "Ughhhh can we go home now? I'm cold and hungry." She muttered exhausted.Tea nodded standing up, relieved that her sister was here. She helped Byakko and up and moved towards the exit that it seemed to allow them to use as an exit, she made sure both of them had their dice. "Hopefully we can find something tasty on the way home." She hummed as she walked out helping her sister who was way worse than she was.
Granted she was totally about to have nightmares for a few weeks thanks to this thing."If we can find churros that would be A+" Byakko muttered.
