A guitar riff cuts out the noise in the arena as the beginning to Black Flame rings out across the arena.
Black Flame - Bury Tomorrow
Here I stand, alone, with hate

A flurry of fireworks shoot in an arc on either side of the stage, going back and forth several times before simmering down in to a low 'fizz' that keeps going.
Avari Fusion steps out on stage to a loud pop from the crowd. Wearing jeans, boots, and a flourishing blue jacket, The Man of the Hour was ready to steal the show, as he usually does.
The crowd let out a huge cheer for the fan favourite, as he put out his arms in an 'eagle' motion. He stepped to the left of the ramp and beat his chest, hopping over to the right and doing the same.
Oh my Brother, how could you?
Not look into the eyes of your fellow man
Who stood with you, through it all
And feel nothing in your heart but hate
Avari walked out to the edge of the stage, looking over the ramp and at the crowd left and right, who were still buzzing for the spectacle. He nodded his head as the announcer came over the PA.
"Making his way to the ring.. weighing in at 230 pounds.. fighting from London, England and residing in Toronto, Ontario.. Avari! Fusion!"
Another loud pop came for Avari as he breathed in deep and readied himself for another bout here, one step closer to Survivor Series, ready for his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
Red stain on the blade
All sense of worth has been washed away
Sacrifice was all in vain
Where's the sense of guilt? Where's the shame?
Eventually reaching the ring, Avari slides under the bottom rope and rolls, standing up on his feet. He takes a walk to one of the corners and hops up on to the turnbuckle, raising a fist in the air to another pop from the crowd.
Lost soul in the unmarked grave
We have given a name
Black flame
In death we are all the same
Remain, black flame
He takes the time to go to each turnbuckle and repeat the process, soaking in the crowd as he does so.
Eventually the music dies down as Avari slowly removes his blue jacket, passing it to a stage hand as he readies himself for the match.
This was a match following a close DQ win over Rex Kobra, one that left Avari beaten in the ring. But he had vowed earlier in the night to get his revenge, and to overcome the obstacle of Omen tonight.

If Rain is What you Want
Avari had made his entrance and The Man of the Hour seemed very confident. That future world title shot elevating his confidence to the point that he dared to call out his opponent tonight, a larger than life entity who thrived in matches with no rules. A fight.
The lights would have turned off as the Slipknot song would play over the PA System. The soft humming of Corey Taylor being soft and calling, just like Omen's most recent run with his partner. He seemed to have gone soft since going Cartwright Strong Style, but just like in this song, when the chorus hit, it showed who Corey was. Just like tonight, Avari will find out just who Omen is.
The Freak would come out from the entrance area. Slowly walking, taking his time. The darkness being hard to determine what the Freak was looking at, but he had bloodlust in his eyes that Avari would satiate tonight, no doubt.
Introducing at this time. Representing Cartwright Strong Style. Weighing in tonight at 284 lbs. He is the FREAAAAK. OMEN!
King: "I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with Omen. Especially after that chilling moment in the boiler room! What kind of weirdo does that! Definitely a weirdo that I don't want to get into the ring with!"
JR: "You have that right, King. Omen is by every means, a Freak. It seems like Cartwright has controlled him more so, but we are definitely seeing the true Omen tonight in this Falls Count Anywhere Match."
King: "If Avari was smart, he either get out as soon as possible before this match starts, or pray that he has some friends in high places!"
Omen would make his way down to the ring. Climbing the stairs, and stepping over the top rope as he would slowly walk past Avari and going to his corner. This Omen was just as calm as the one in the boiler room earlier. He had plans for the World Heavyweight contender and he was going to enjoy every moment of this match!

Avari watched Omen closely as he entered the ring, The Man of the Hour stepping forward as the bell rang.
He called over to Omen from a good ring distance,
"Hey, big man.. you look angry!"

The match was underway and Avari looked to get under the skin of Omen by calling out to him. But the Freak would not speak back, he would just lift his head up and down while standing in his corner still. Horror movie-esque!

Well, it looked like Omen was here to play games.. and Avari had already dealt with his fair share of monsters since joining this company.
He watched and waited and.. dropped to the mat, rolling under the bottom rope.
The Man of the Hour called out again,
"How's your cardio, big man? Fancy a jog over here?"

Omen would see as Avari wanted to play games as well. Omen then would, just like Avari, drop to the mat and roll to the outside. Beginning to make his walk around the ring while in slow pursuit of his opponent
JR: "It seems like these two are playing a bit of games with one another early on."
King: " I wasn't ever aware that Omen could play games. Especially when in this type of mood."
JR: "Maybe he is open to this due to his change in demeanor. He must be confident of when the two finally cross paths and the games end!"

Avari smirked, he could see that Omen was willing to play the games, but could also see that he seemed to have a purpose to his actions.
Fusion then actually started walking towards Omen, closing the gap and readying himself for what could be a horror match.

JR: "Oh boy, the two are walking toward each other!"
King: "What is Avari doing, is he crazy!"
Omen continued to walk until he was within arms reach of his opponent. Not attacking, but simply putting a hand on his shoulder for a moment. Empathizing with his prey.

Avari wanted to play these games, but why? What reason would be have to play around with the man stalking him?
Omen placed a hand on Avari's shoulder, as the smaller man looked at the grip. He spoke again,
"You might be a big man, but that just makes the fall even more spectacular"
Avari looked to aim a quick elbow to the face of Omen!

The message was received. No words, just an elbow to the nose. Avari was ready to face whatever came next. He has come to terms with what he was dealing with. Defiant until the end!
Omen's head would wind back as he held his nose. Luckily this wasn't a first blood match, because that unprotected strike may have just done the job right there!

First strike, and almost first blood.. a good start but it was just that - a start.
The crowd gave off a loud cheer with the elbow, as Avari looked to follow up with series of chops and strikes to the had - looking to make his opponent a little disorientated!

The strikes would all connect. Piling up more on Omen who was stumbling after each shot. Almost tripping on objects behind him

Avari saw his shots connect, perhaps this was his opportunity.. he looked to switch it up, trying to grip the bigger man and Irish whip him in to the steel steps!

Well, it was going good for awhile on Avari's part. Was it greed or underestimating who he was against? Regardless of what it was, Avari may regret it as Omen would not budge. But instead looking to hammer throw his opponent into the barricade behind him.
