The night of the full moon was a source of excitement for Enya. All throughout the day she'd picked up bits and bobbles when there was time between her normal tasks. Visiting or not, Enya knew there were goals she needed to meet and expectations set before her same as any promising Aishan. In the beginning she hadn't taken her training too seriously, but now that she had her Aunt to show her the way Enya had begun to blossom.

Still, she had a way about her that didn't mesh well with some of the others. From time to time Enya found her more carefree spirit at odds with those she trained with and, more than ever, she needed to feel connected to her goddesses.

So, when the full moon came around, the Elidae did her best to make things just right. She found the perfect spot just outside of Zinris where the incoming moonlight hit a natural crystal and brightened the space. Four 'alters' had been created around the crystal, each with different flowers, vines and moss. Enya herself was completely nude save for the vines and flower chains she'd draped around her shoulders and hips to give the illusion of clothing. Little bells had been tied to vines around her wrists, dreads and ankles so that when she moved around the crystal they played a discordant melody.

Aselia stared at her hands for a moment, her right arm was still considerably weaker than her left. It would probably remain that way for some time now. Clenching her fists, Aselia grumbled, dipping her hands into a bowl of water. The Mystic watched the ripples splash up and around the sides of the bowl, her hands rubbing together below the surface. Another blossom had produced another beautiful infant, and today Aselia was busy teaching Dira how to properly clean the newbloom.

Lifting her hands from the water, the woman gave both two quick shakes to dislodge as much liquid from her hands as possible. Her hands moving up to rub into her face, today was Dira's first time presenting the newbloom to her intended parents. Part of Aselia felt proud of the young mystic, and her eagerness to take the next step in her training. Shiari was off in another area tending to blooms that were only just budding, and Aselia was finding it hard to step back to allow the Mystic room to take charge.

Tilting her head to the side and rolling her shoulders, the Mystic felt the familiar pull of a direction she was needed. Giving a nod, she followed the path until she came upon Enya. Leaning against a tree for support Aselia watched the Elidea for a moment, not feeling the need to interrupt the woman. Her arms crossed over her chest, was this where she was being pulled to? But why?

Enya rolled her arms into the air above her head and shimmied her fingers just enough to give the bells life. They weren't nearly big enough to be cumbersome, but the little chimes brought a sense of peace to the Elidae that she couldn't explain. She couldn't give a time to when she'd started using them in her practices, or a true reason, other than it just felt right.

She made a full pass around the alters before realizing she'd been spotted. Instead of being put out by it or embarrassed, Enya greeted the Alkidike with a warm smile. "Am I being too loud? I thought I'd gone far enough away not to be a distraction, but if it's a problem I can do away with the bells." She wasn't unreasonable, after all; especially once she realized who she was speaking with. It didn't change much other than adding a name to the face she'd seen pass by in the past.

Uncrossing her legs while still leaning against the tree, Aselia shook her head slowly. "Not at all sister." She replied, her eyes looking from one alter to the next. "Mother is leading me here for something." Using her shoulder to push herself away from the tree.

Letting out a rush of air, against the still sore sting in her shoulder. The mystic stepped towards Enya, her footfalls hardly making a sound when touching the ground. Reaching out to place her hand on the Aishans shoulder, she gave Enya a soft smile. "Is everything alright sister?" She asked, concerned that maybe she was why mother was calling her here.

"Oh?"

Enya looked from the Alkidike to the alters and had to wonder if that had anything to do with it? Her prayers were just as fervent as if she were at base of the goddess' themselves so maybe this was just a sign that they were hearing her? It gave Enya a warm feeling, one that seemed to lighten her shoulders a bit and give conviction to her own particular way of prayer.

She wasn't expecting the hand at her shoulder, but she didn't turn it away. "As well as I can be. I miss my home, but I have family here and visiting them is worth the heartache." Even though her mothers were content by Esena's side , Enya had found comfort in travel. It was strange, but oddly suiting to her nature.

Motioning to the alters and their formation, the Elidae gave a flushed sort of smile. "One of my mothers encouraged me to speak to the earth as if it were the goddess and she will listen. That even though other goddesses are across vast oceans they could still hear us through the connection and should always prayed to." One by one Enya pointed to the alters, "Esena, Elzira, Aisha, and Azehra. One day I'd like to pay my respects to all in person, but that may be a while."

Mixed emotions crossed the Mystics face as each pillar was spoken about. Keeping her lips and opinions sheltered within Aselia pushed her hair behind her ear.

Her head tilting to the side as she regarded the unique way the Aishan was choosing to worship their mother. "It is true that each mother tree can hear her children across the vast void. It is always best to return to her during the yearly celebrations. These are important for our spiritual rites, is this maybe what you feel you are missing sister? I don't mean harm in asking, do you feel you've been away long enough to have missed out on these rites?"

Aselia's hand slid down the young womans arm taking hold of her hand to turn in over. Looking her up and down before stepping back to once again lean against the tree.

While she hadn't put thought to form Aselia's words did make sense. Enya gave a light murmur and nodded her head. "I think that fits. This is my first time being away from home - ever - and I didn't expect to be gone this long." The plan had been to be on a ship bound for Kiros before the first hint of Autumn, but now they were moving headlong into Winter.

"Worshipping this way keeps me connected and as much as I miss my family I don't really feel like I'm missing out. I know they're well and that Esena will protect them like they do her." There was a melancholy edge to her words, but Enya meant it. As long as she had her faith they would be fine and so would she.

Her eyes went down to Aselia's hold on her hand and without fuss Enya allowed the contact. "You don't have to answer, but...do you miss Aisha?"

Anger briefly flashed across Aselia's face. Quickly replaced with a soft smile. Part of her was regretting the actions of her much younger and nieve self. Taking in a slow breath thinking over the answer to Enyas question. An arm slowly rubbing down the weakened arm. A painful reminder of her encounter with some Alkidike hybrids. "That's a complex question. Had we not done what we did. I wonder if the daughter trees would be here."

It was true, Aselia did miss Kadriye. And the 'voice' of Aisha. However with the responsibility of assisting in Shairi and Dira's training, it wasn't like she was completely alone. So she figured it was best to take comfort in those small things. For now. She regretted the fight brought on by her own pride. "In some small way I might. But as it stands Elzira gives me what I need."

Aselia shifted her weight, "how are you finding your travels so far? I'm bound here so I'm unable to see what else may lay outside yael."

Enya gave a murmur of agreement, but stayed quiet to reflect. She knew enough of Zinris' history to know of it's inception and why it existed. At one time it wouldn't have been as welcoming to someone like her, even though she was pure Aishan, and that was something that always sat in the back of her mind. Tensions had eased over the years, but she doubted they would fade away in her lifetime. There were plenty of Elarians who looked at Enya with disdain, who condemned her mothers and hated the Elidae. And yet, there were plenty who had welcomed her.

It was complicated, but not impossible to find community here.

"This is as far as I've gotten," Enya answered with an awkward smile. "And if I didn't have family here I don't know that I ever would have left home. Now that I have, though...it's tempting to make a bigger trip out of it."

Aselia looked out into the distance, contemplating family. What would become of her once the two younger mystics training had been complete. Would she no longer have a place to call home or people to call family? Feeling caught in a net between worlds, the mystic shrugged. "What kind of a trip is it that you're looking for? Any particular places you wish to visit, outside of any obligations you feel you need to fill?"

Her eyes shifted back over the small makeshift alters the woman had erected before her. Eyes instantly flashing upward as something just out of her peripheral vision caught her gaze.

With the light in the very small clearing shifting away from day and into night. Nightbloom buds were beginning to emerge from the trees above. A dazzling pale blue white flower began to form. Not wanting to appear rude, Aselia turned her attention back towards Enya. Opting not to mention the sight as she listened to the girl speaking.

"Well...No, I guess not?" What sort of trip was she looking for? Her Aunt and cousin had gone out into the world to visit each of the goddesses. Enya...didn't necessarily want to do all of that, did she? It was nice to keep them in her heart and to hope for the best, but as far as going to Chiume? To Chibale? Was that really what she wanted?

"I guess I'm just looking to better myself. I don't know where I'll end up, but if my skills with the trident could improve before I went home I wouldn't be mad at that." She had a lot to live up to, and if she could inspire half the pride that her family inspired in her then she'd be happy. "I think that's why I've stuck around here for so long. I've been working with one of my Aunt's; she's trying to toughen me up, but..." Well, she held out her bare arms. They were swimmers arms, with a fisherman's callouses; muscular, but no where near a warriors build.

To her credit, she was paying more attention to Aselia than the area around them, which was a first. Normally Enya's eye was hard to capture, but she wanted to be respectful. And so, she hadn't noticed the flowers at all.

Feeling a bit faint from the days work, Aselia moved to find a place to sit. Keeping her attention on the woman in front of her. Rubbing her shoulder to ease some discomfort Aselia nodded to show she was still listening as Enya spoke. "Are you opposed to what your aunt is doing?" Aselia asked tentatively. She was wondering if the pause meant the girl was against what she was going through.

Some sisters weren't as strong as others, and that was okay. Each had their own unique talents and skills that they could bring to the sisterhood. Take herself for example. She wasn't a skilled warrior by any means, her talents lay in other uses to the sisterhood and to the great mother tree. Or more accurately, the daughter tree.

Aselia scratched an area behind her neck. She had no words to offer as comfort. Not wanting to offer up unsolicited advice either.

"Hmm? Oh, no. That wasn't what I meant." Now that she was no longer actively in the middle of her 'ceremony' Enya found herself moving toward the edge of the clearing. Close enough hear Aselia, but more importantly, close enough to grab her clothing. While she didn't mind being freely nude she knew that walking back into Zinris that way might catch some unwanted attention.

"I'm just a better swimmer than a fighter. She's done a lot to help me use my trident better, but I'll never be a warrior. But-" As she made her way back over, having shimmied into her skirt and working on her top, Enya had a bright smile on her face, "-you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who can out fish me. I swam with the Kahikina when I could back home and I learned a lot."

As she pulled the top down around her waist, Enya caught the way Aselia was rubbing at her shoulder and frowned. "I don't have anything for pain with me, but I can get you some water if you'd like?"

No drama's <3 I'm in no rush darl. I'm just happy to get some RP's in

"Oh..." Aselia fumbled. Caught between wanting to apologize for the misunderstanding, and the pride that kept her from apologizing. It wasn't uncommon for Aselia to see anyone without clothing, so it hadn't phased her much to see all of Enya. She did tend to freshly bloomed younglings after all, and was a healer.

"Oh I have no doubt that you are." Aselia said with a smirk. Lowering her head a little towards the ground in an attempt to hide the features on her face. "You'll have to bring me some of your catch sometime." Aselia mused.

Then Enya said something Aselia didn't quite understand. "The Kahikina?" Aselia asked with a questioning tone. Her smile fading a bit at the mention of something unfamiliar. Her eyes watched Enya's hands pull her top over her body. "What is Kahikina?" She finally asked.

"Oh yeah?" Enya gave a nervous little laugh and ended with a grin that spread from one ear to the other. "Don't think I won't! You'll be so sick of fish by the time I leave that you'll swear off them for good." As if she needed any other reason to spend her days in the water. Any given day the Elidae was fully submerged, chasing prey and terrorizing wildlife. Now she had an actual reason to do so.

"Oh! So they're sort of like earthlings, but not." Tucking her legs underneath her, Enya settled just in front of Aselia on the ground, but at enough of a distance so that she didn't need to crane her neck to talk. "Some of them are smaller than us, like the Hapuna, but some of them are the size of Aishans, like the Kaha'iko. Most of their cities are on land, but they're able to travel a long way underwater and they can spend a lot longer in the water itself than we can."
