As the start of the show draws near, two of the members of Power wait for a meeting called for by head of the family, Cyrus Leone. The duo of Luis and Axel were the first to arrive, and still await Luca, Emiko, Mirage, and the leader himself. With matches on the card, and matters to address, the evening would certainly call for some kind of game plan.
Stepping into the conference room, Luis takes a seat, leaning back in the chair to put his feet up on the table. "You know with all these responsible business folks in Power, how is it that we're always the first to show to these things?" The Mega Lion shook his head. "I'd say we're the ones carrying this ship."
The Atomic Monster gave a simple shrug to his tag team comrade before leaning against the wall across from him.
"Yeah, I guess Cyrus is doing his part, but I remember a time when he was fun to be around. Now it's all business since the hooded freak popped up. All doom and gloom. What I'm thinking is that we-"
Opening the door the conference room Luca stepped in, immediately looking over to her brother. "Sorry I'm late, I didn't miss anything did I?"
"You missed the whole thing, as usual. We at Power Inc. feel like we're no longer your highest priority, especially since you've recently acquired a certain unnecessary distraction. We don't have a shiny gold watch to give you, but do wish you the best in future endeavors. " There was a pause, finally broken when the Lion let out a laugh.
"You've missed nothing." Everyone was taken aback as Mister Mirage spoke up, stepping out from a corner of the room.
"What in the ever-loving ********, batman?! You could have said something earlier, you creep!"
The Mysterious Stranger tilted his masked visage to the side, disregarding Luis' outburst as he continued. "The One-eyed Lion will not be present this evening... I will be taking the lead."
"Wait, Cyrus isn't here? What is he-"
"No, no, no. ******** no! I don't work for you." Luis stands up his chair, glancing over at Axel. "We don't work for you. If anything, you work for us. I was here long before you, and I'm not about to take orders from some masked nobody." The Mega Lion smirked. "It'll be me tonight as the acting president of the United States of Power! Got a problem with that?"
