[The following is a sequel to "Minutes To Midnight"]

The flight had been long, but being back on the ground took a little getting used to as the group of Salem, Kyra, Emiko, Trent, Erynys, and Salem's driver, Murphy, settled into a private transport Salem had chartered to pick them up from the Belfast airfield his jet had parked in. It was relatively dark out, dusk having settled over the city by the time they'd landed.

Parting ways as they left, Murphy took a separate vehicle with the entourage's luggage to get it unpacked at their hotel accommodations while the others winded through the Irish streets, their driver having been instructed of the address they were heading prior to their departure. Sitting up front and feeling Kyra's feet pushing into his back from the seat behind him, Salem turned back to address the party while casually swatting Kyra's leg down.

"So, uh, we're heading to one of my businesses here. I own a few places around town and most of my family runs it for me. My cousin Clover should be here, she's like my little sister. But, uh...she might not be in a great mood." he ended ominously, the friendliness of his expression fading at some unseen thought.

The flight had been beneficial in getting him to feel like his old self. He hadn't felt this good in a long while and he was almost sorry to be leaving the jet behind. He did his best to fit into the rapidly filling car and he kept his attention as it weaved through the streets.

His attention soon turned back his partner and he frowned at the news. "Why wouldn't she be in a good mood? Surely she heard the good news right?"

It seems like everyone had a great time on their flight, Trent included. But being back on land near beautiful hills and mountains that spanned past what the group could see was definitely the best way to be introduced to Ireland.

Trent would make his way inside the vehicle as well. This time, trying to find as much space for himself as compared to last time. Meanwhile Salem gave the run down on the area and seemingly brought up some of his family who may not be super happy to see Salem after making his travels over. Sounds like this would be interesting to see play out.

"OH well, I am sure her seeing Kyra will brighten her spirits."

With a smile, Emiko quietly scooted Kyra over to sit center, between her mother and Erynys Reich.
Making sure Kyra was strapped in properly, giving an awkward glance, upward at Eyrnys. Emiko didn't really know or ever formally met the man.
"Hi." A simple acknowledgment made, to the large German.

Salem chuckled nervously as Trent and Eryn inquired about Clover's attitude, nodding a bit while he watched Emiko secure Kyra in the middle seat. While it was true Clover would be happy to see Salem's daughter, what they didn't realize was how upset Clover had gotten to learn she had a 'niece' that was already six, and hadn't been introduced already.

Salem was warned on the plane by one of his cousins that despite her being a recent revelation in his life, Salem wasn't being forgiven for not having brought her to meet Clover sooner. The fact was, trying to make this trip without Kyra would've been suicide for the tag champion.

"Eheh...yeah. She's gonna be...thrilled, I'm sure." he said, looking back forward and zoning out into the middle distance, seeing the cobbled streets that wound ahead of them and was ushering them to their destination.

He nodded his head as he listened to Salem. "I'm sure things will be just fine. Maybe you're overthinking it there just a tad."

He settled back into the seat as Emiko sat beside him and made sure that Kyra was strapped in. He arched an eyebrow as she spoke to him and he gave her the slightest of nods. "Hello Frau Sone"

Trent would lean back, enjoying the extra space this time around. Seeing Kyra was next to the big german man, he would tap her lightly on the shoulder and whisper down to her from over the seat.

"Be careful with that big guy next to you, he's a drooler."

Of course making jest, even giving Kyra a giddy laugh. Hoping to keep the spirits of the young Croft up, relieve some of the nerves she may be dealing with as she is about to meet the rest of her family from overseas.

After a quiet couple minutes, the vehicle pulled up along a curb, parking in front of an establishment that seemed no more out of place than any other situated along the cobblestone street. It appeared to be a pub, by the exterior - but curtains hanging inside the windows obscured any view in. A sign hanging across the front read "The Snake & Clover", accented with a serpent slithering along the length as shamrocks graced the corners. Their driver turned to Salem, gesturing to the navigation on his upfront display.

"Seems we're here, sir." he said, Salem nodding and giving the man a tip as the group exited the vehicle and approached the establishment.

But as Salem moved to take the door handle, he found it locked, only a metal rattle as he tried twisting the knob. It was then that he noticed the sign hanging inside the door window between the curtain and glass, reading "CLOSED". Stepping back with a sudden anxiousness, Salem's jaw went slack a little bit.

"Uh-oh." he said quietly to himself, but loud enough for others to have heard.

Emiko grimly turned face toward Salem, with narrow eye.
"Wrong answer, Jack track. Bust the door down and call for repair. I'm not sitting on my butt a minute more or standing out here like a trollop."

"Trollop? What is that?" Kyra innocently asked, eyes looking up at her mother, full of wonder.

A glance down and then back to full steam of staring glare at Salem.
"Something slow moving, like a slug." Answering factually, of its secondary, lesser known, meaning.

Kyra now transfering attention to her father. "Daddy! I don't wanna be a slug!" She worriedly exclaimed!
