The park has a wide variety of trees and plants, like oaks, birches, and evergreens. These trees and plants provide a habitat for many different species of birds, insects, and other wildlife, and create a peaceful atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
Christabel thought it looked like the perfect place for patrolling. There was even a walking path with benches and a pond for ducks and other wildlife. If you looked a little further you could see a picnic area should be included for families to enjoy. The park had plenty of open space for people to relax and take in the beauty of nature. It was a great spot for a day out.
Today though she was not here to relax and enjoy the view. She was here to make sure that the park stayed as safe as it could. She didn't want anyone to mess up this beautiful day for anyone.
She just had one question in the back of her mind - was she really strong enough to protect anyone? She felt like she wasn't nearly as strong as she wanted to be. She knew she had to try, though, so she took a deep breath and steeled herself with determination. She was ready to do whatever it took to protect those around her. "I can do this!" she said with a breath as she began patroling. its_ p a o Wanted to get this started before bed. I hope this works! =)

The park was definitely beautiful, particularly at night.
Ekstrom was actually down in the grass, enjoying the clear, Summer night sky. This was still in the city so the stars weren’t completely visible because of the city lights and all that, but she could see enough and still found it quite enjoyable. It was a nice little pause to her patrol for the night, because she made it a point to find something enjoyable to do while she was out.
Life hadn’t changed as drastically as she thought it would once she’d taken up the mantle of the Ekstrom knight–or, Page for the time being. Apart from dedicating a night or two a week to patrolling, that…was actually about it. Encounters with youma or agents had been few and far between. Probably for the best–she wasn’t the greatest fighter.
Sure, she knew how and was decent at sparring at her gym, and she could also swing a mean pot lid, but a big part of it was that she just wasn’t comfortable with it.
“Maybe the more I do it?” she said aloud, then scrunched her brows together. She was about to say more when she sensed an Order signature nearby, so rather than focus on that frustrating thought she shifted her attention to that.
She was up and on her feet in seconds–she was already wearing her signature big, bright smile–and making her way quickly toward whoever it was. Once she saw a figure in the distance, she stopped and waved to greet them. Hopefully they knew she wasn’t bad news, but she kept her distance for now just to be safe.

Christabel noticed someone suddenly waving at her from a distance. She took a moment to focus and she sensed they were on her side. Or so she thought anyways. She could be wrong, but today she wanted to trust her instincts. So she quickly waved back, and headed towards them.
As she approached the figure, a mix of excitement and caution filled Christabel's heart. She couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation, eager to meet someone new and potentially forge a connection. However, a lingering sense of caution reminded her to remain vigilant, to ensure her safety in this encounter. Since her friends were always telling her - just be on the safe side.
As she got closer though she completely ignored that advice. She said, "Hello there! My name is Christabel - what brings you out here today? Are you patrolling too?" Her voice was as jolly as Kris Kringle would be and her smile was as bright as a Christmas star. She matched her green, red, and white, Christmas colored outfit perfectly. its_ p a o It's perfect! Whoever it was, they were definitely a friendly.
Ekstrom grinned and happily closed the distance between them so they could talk in normal voices as opposed to shouting at each other. Less chances of attracting unwanted attention. "Ekstrom, nice to meet you!" she replied with her own introduction. Between her name and her outfit the Mercury knight wondered if her powers were Christmas-related, or at least holiday-related. It seemed oddly out of place in the summer, but that didn't really matter.
She wasn't one to talk, given she was dressed for the middle of winter in her own uniform.
"And yes, just patrolling. Er...mostly." She thought about the events of her evening and soon was chuckling shyly. "Well, not really, not anymore anyway. It started that way, but I sort of wound up unwinding a little bit toward the end. Not much happening, which I consider a good thing. What about you?"
