It had been a few days since he had been filled in, there was so very much going on here. Part of it he felt strongly about and other parts not so much. Chaos was here but in a vastly different way which was not good but there were also other senshi like him here as well. The only thing that bothered him still was how he was struggling with some things. Back home there really wasn't a lot he had to interact with so missing part of himself hadn't been as bothersome there. But now he was trying to manage all sorts of things like doors and a vastly different style of clothing. Everything was a lot more fitted than the flowy and loose clothing style he was used to. He really did like things here though despite his struggles but he really wished there was something to do about it. He had learned about a few things that interested him but he really wasn't one who knew how to tinker and make things. There were a lot of things to help all sorts of people who were hurt in different ways here. Back home there had been some remedies but nothing had really posed a problem so him there. Maybe because everything was already so familiar he was able to make due. Looking around from his position, there was so very much here that was different that he would have to learn about. Feeling a few other auras like his own around, he wondered what new things he could learn from them. Picking one of the closer ones, he started making his way over. He kept a feel out for any of those chaos orders as well though, sure he had gotten some rest but he felt it would probably be best not to go out alone until he had a better lay of the land.

It had been a quiet several months.
Daedalus was not back up to his full power, no, but he was stronger than he'd been--and it was a good thing that Faust had helped him out, because being stuck at first stage was maddening. He'd found Surtur, which was also good, because reconnecting with his old friend was a blessing. And the longer he stayed, the more he felt comfortable with his place on Earth.
Beautiful planet. So many people. Old friends, new friends...an entire life that he got to forge for himself.
He hadn't been back to Daedalus since that first visit, and that nagged at him, but facing its desolation again seemed....miserable. So tonight, for not the first time, he simply wandered the city, looking for trouble and if he could not find it, perhaps he would create some. Chaos's toxic influence was everywhere, here, so he'd stumble upon something soon enough.
Though it was distinctly not Chaos that he found, in the end. It was, it seemed, another Senshi--pale gray, with odd ears on the top if his head, and a general look of someone who was not from Earth.
"Ah," Daedalus smiled, pleasantly, "good evening. I don't think we've met, here or before--I'm Sailor Daedalus."

It looked like his luck was pretty good tonight and he smiled back and offered a friendly little wave to Daedalus. "Oh, Hello! No, we haven't at least... I don't think. Either way, I'm Procyon." Already he could tell he was going to like this senshi, with all their colorful hair and interesting fabrics. He had seen so many different styles already while wandering and looking through a few things on that device Illyria had given him. It was still a bit hard to deal with one-handed but he loved being able to learn things so quickly. it was just a matter of learning what things were called here. Just thinking of it all made him terribly excited to find out whatever he could. "It's been really nice here, aside from some of the chaos I feel. Do you like it here too?" He wondered how the other's planet might be if it was just as messed up as his was currently. He didn't want to go back and see it, even if it was his home he needed some more time before he could figure out the next steps.

Well. If neither of them remembered, it was almost certainly a first meeting. Even if it wasn't, Daedalus was willing to count it as one.
"Glad to meet you, then, Procyon," Daedalus said, cheerily. And he was--any new friend, especially one like him, who was a relic of the past, was a positive thing. The more of them that knew each other, he felt, the more they might begin to understand the strange affliction that seemed to hold sway over the worlds of every Senshi that had survived the silent thousand years.
"I have found this world quite agreeable," Daedalus acknowledged. "And I've found many helpful people here, ones I knew from before and ones that are new to me. What about you? Had good luck settling in?"
It was hard to miss that the poor Senshi seemed to be missing an arm, but it seemed, to Daedalus, that it would be rude to ask about it.

Smiling back he nodded and responded brightly, "Yes glad to meet you too." Already he was sure they would be a good friend, just as he'd felt about Illyria. Maybe they could help him in some way too? They might know about what happened, at least in part. "Things have been new and exciting but... maybe things here aren't the best sometimes. I don't really understand all this technology but it's been fun to try and figure out. I found some things I want to look into but I don't know how to tinker with the stuff. It didn't really exist back home, not in the same way at least if that makes sense. Clothing here is so nice too, but it's I haven't figured out how to sew like this yet." Shifting a bit to bring some attention to his arm, he didn't really mind that it was missing in a sense. Yes, it made things harder to handle here but it had happened so long ago, back when things had only started to fall to pieces on his world. "Settling in has been hit or miss but I think it's going as well as it can be while figuring this place out. It's so very different here, there's not nearly enough water and I'm not used to it yet." He'd spent time on land on his planet but only after the water had been poisoned and the divide had happened, otherwise he'd have been content to continue staying below the water.

"Oh, it's dizzying, isn't it, the things that modern Earth is capable of? I thought my planet was pushing boundaries, but the things they've achieved... Space travel, without magic, for one! Only manned to the Moon, but it;'s still an incredible feat." It was obvious from every line of Daedalus's body, from the bright delight in his voice and expression, that this was exactly the sort of thing he was excited about. If he had a tail, it would undoubtedly have been wagging like an overeager puppy. "And computers--before, I think I only ever saw things like their computers on planets like Mercury. The ones that devoted themselves entirely to that kind of magic-science. And here they are, everywhere."
Not that it was all sunshine and roses, Daedalus knew, but it was nice to think about the positives.
"Sorry, I've always been something of a tinkerer, so it's the tech that has my heart." He laughed, briefly. "Yours was a water world, then? This must be quite the adjustment, and probably not a pleasant one. I heard there was some kind of reservoir outside of town, but I don't know if that's convenient for you?"

"Yes, there's so much I have no idea about here! They have libraries of information on these little screens! Some of them even look like the glass bangles from back home with tiny little pictures on them that they can use to find out more information. I've been reading up on things at their library. I never really left my planet, many came there for ceremonies and trade so everything I saw was in passing."Brimming with excitement, he hopped almost as he spoke. Little jingles as the beads on his outfit jostled about with his excited little motions. He wanted to know about all the different places the other might have been. When they mentioned they were a tinkerer, he actually did hop. "OH! You can help maybe?! I saw this earth thing... called a prosthetic?" Pulling his phone out of subspace he hurriedly tried to type with one hand to pull up the image he saved before turning it to the other. It was an article he'd seen about something called 3-D printing, it sounded like magic to him but he really didn't know how to approach it. Tilting his head, ears moving along to fall a bit to the side he smiled still. "Yes, my world lay mostly beneath the waves. We rarely traveled to the land above except when guests arrived and I would go along to greet them. It's alright though, there may not be as much water but I'd never met such warm and soft creatures until I came here. Miss Illyria is quite soft, I'm very disappointed she's not the dominant species here." Pouting a bit, he'd have loved having a pile of cats on him for a nap. "Oh, I'm not sure, I haven't really found my way around much but that sounds really nice. I'll have to go search for it if it gets too dry out. I think the humans here have some sort of cream or things like that to help with my issues but I haven't quite figured out how to acquire things like that yet." He knew about some things but he was still mostly wandering around and figuring things out as best he could.

Procyon was so...bright. Upbeat. Energetic. It made Daedalus feel warm, and glad to just be in his presence. He'd missed seeing this kind of enthusiasm, if he was honest; it was probably also why he liked Kaifeng so much. The same sort of refusal to let circumstances get them down.
"Ah, I knew someone on my world who made prosthetics, actually," Daedalus said, and he leaned in to read the article Procyon showed him, considering. "I'm not familiar with this particular method, but I might be able to help you, if I have some time to do more research?"
Perhaps something of Dammen's still remained, if nothing else.
"It might benefit you to find someone to help you--I've been lucky, and run into a few people who were willing to help me get settled, and help me learn to understand this world. I'm sure Senshi or Knights on Earth would be glad to help guide you." So many of their allies were so kind, Daedalus had found. Farbauti had offered him space in his apartment, no questions asked, when he needed help, and others had guided him in more subtle ways. "Mauvians usually know a Senshi or two--has Miss Illyria directed you to anyone?"

"Ah! You did?" Another smile then a pause as he thought about it, if their world was like his then that person wasn't around anymore but he didn't get time to dwell on it as they confirmed they might be able to help. Nodding with much enthusiasm he wouldn't mind waiting if it meant he'd be able to start doing things with a bit more ease. "Yes yes yes! I don't mind waiting. Hold on just let me... remember how this works." Juggling his phone thing, he took their photo as Illyria had taught him to add Daedalus to his device. "You can reach me through this right? I'm still figuring it out, I wish it was a bit smaller to be honest it's hard to handle." Laughing a bit as he put the thing away again. "Miss Illyria introduced me to a human senshi... her name is Ida I think? We met briefly and they have another senshi like us that lives there. They were asleep though so I didn't want to bother and wake them. I want to try to see if I can find anyone else who might remember me or my world, it would be nice if I could find a few before I try going back there." He still didn't know what remained under the water, behind the sealed vault door that had taken his arm in the process. If someone here knew about how to help remove the poison from the water on his world then maybe he could find out more but it would be something for the future when he had his bearings and a bit more figured out.

Daedalus waited, patiently, for Procyon to manage his phone one-handed, and then pulled out his own to take a picture and make a contact.
"Ah, it's not even that familiar to me--my world had a very different sort of technology." Still, he gave a brief nod. "I'll let you know when I have something for you," he promised. And he would do this. He absolutely could do this. It was just a matter of plans, materials, so on....
"And I'm glad you have someone; no one should have to make it in a strange place alone." Sure, he didn't exactly have a lot of help himself, but he'd managed. He would always manage. It was just who he was. "I hope I can bring you something soon. But I'll keep you updated on any progress."

"Next time maybe I'd like to hear about it! I look forward to learning more if that's alright?" Another shuffle and nod as he bristled with excitement over how he'd not only made a new friend but found a way towards a bit more normalcy. He'd have to figure out a way to make them something in return, maybe some nice scarf or sash like he'd used to make back home. There were still some of those glass beads and baubles in his subspace from his planet that he'd held onto throughout all this time. "Yes and it makes for a lot more fun to have more people to venture with, I hope you have a good rest of your evening Daedalus, I look forward to hearing about things whenever you're able." Nodding again, he offered another wave and started making his way to continue wandering around. There were a few places he wanted to look at tonight, including a park that had a water fountain.
