It was a cool night, the temperature felt much as it had back home before things fell to chaos. He was so very tired though after the journey and made his way toward one of the benches that sat by an edge of trees. It was metallic and cold which made him shiver at first since he was still a bit wet from where he had landed. There really weren't any people around from what he could tell, maybe because it was dark out? Taking his time, he looked at the greenery and admired how it grew. There hadn't been the same type of thing back there given how most of his people lived beneath the water. Land had been something of a last-ditch effort to escape from what had happened. It seemed to be much the opposite here as he noticed figures within the boxes of light on the building nearby. He was so focused on trying to take everything in that he hadn't noticed his own shivering at first. Pulling the fluff of his uniform close, he tried to think of his next steps. He would have to dry off and get warm soon but he needed to figure out where he was and where he could go from here first.

Illyria, at one point in time, would have been completely oblivious to the figure that seemed to shrink in on themselves in an effort to ward off chills. At one point in time even the mental ping that would go off in her mind indicating a senshi was near would have been hastily ignored. But that was in a time before she started interacting with senshi on a casual to daily basis and got to know them on more than just a cursory level. Now she tended to at least try to keep up appearances of being interested in what happened in the lives of the senshi that she knew but sometimes even that was still hard to do, especially when one couldn't find the senshi in question.
It still irked Illyria that she'd not been able to successfully hunt down the chibi senshi that had run off on her and all she could do is hope that the child was faring well. Maybe she had found an older senshi to tutor her through the basics.
It was on this night though that Illyria was attentive to her surroundings and the various auras that dotted the city's landscape. The aura that was being exuded from the owner on the bench sparked enough interest from Illyria that she softly padded over to give a closer examination of the senshi. There was no doubt in her mind that it was anything but a senshi. Giving the softest of trills in order not to startle the senshi into fleeing Illyria hopped onto the bench before merely laying down in a comfortable position.
Her gaze was wide and innocent as she took in the features that she could see before letting the silence encompass them. She'd wait to see if this senshi wanted to openly talk to her before she made any other moves.

There was movement and something small coming closer. What was it? It looked so... soft? It came up and sat next to him, on the side where he was missing his arm. Turning slightly as he shivered, he reached out cautiously towards it to pet it. It took a few coughs and the voice that came out was a bit hoarse but he muttered a few words towards it hoping they would understand. "Hello there friend?" It had been so long since he had last spoken, it shocked him a bit to hear his own voice again. He took in all the little features of the thing that sat by him now, it had soft fluff in various colors with ears and a tail. There was also a star on its forehead right above wide and cute eyes. They also felt so much warmer than he did right now. Trying again to speak he knew it would get easier with practice. "Can you help me? I've no idea where I am."

Illyria's ears flicked back and forth as the senshi, it was most definitely a senshi, began to speak to her. But did he know what she was? With the hesitance in their voice it sounded like the senshi was unsure of what she was? Was now the best time to start chatting up a storm? She took in the fact that this newcomer only seemed to have one arm and she sighed quietly before gently placing a paw on the senshi's lap before crawling forward and situating herself contently in the senshi's lap. Her purring started up and even as she kneaded at the bare skin did she feel the tremors that wracked the newcomer's frame. Water droplets still glimmered on the senshi's uniform and she cast her senses out, checking for any perceivable danger before laying down more firmly in the available lap.
"I can be a friend if you need me to be? Who do I have the pleasure of meeting this evening?"
Illyria listened to the query that was asked of her before letting her small body fluff up in order to try and warm up this poor, unfortunate soul. Her voice was soft as she continued to speak, "You've found yourself arriving on Earth. My name is Illyria. I am a guardian cat."

His eyes sparkled as the fluffy thing sat in his lap and started to vibrate, they were so warm. "Yes I would like a friend, my name is Procyon." He tried to make his lap more comfortable for her. Thinking for a moment he remembered that odd pull he had felt that drew him here. So this place was called Earth? He would remember that for the future and try looking up information if they had an archives here. "Oh, a guardian cat? Is that what the species are that live here? So there are a whole bunch of you?" He very much liked the idea of these warm things called cats. He was starting to feel a bit better as they warmed him up. "It's very nice to meet you Illyria."

Procyon, hmmm, every time I think I understand things, some new thing to puzzle out is dropped into my lap.
Illyria stopped her kneading of Procyon's leg muscles before taking a moment to really observe this senshi. Besides what appeared to be a missing arm, Procyon almost could pass as a senshi awakened on Earth. But Illyria's gaze was sharper. There were certain attributes that didn't add up to any senshi awakened on this planet and she had also picked up on the unusual way that Procyon had been speaking.
Her purring softened a little as she shifted her form to stare up at this senshi with her round violet orbs before she gave a soft sound of laughter. How did one answer that question. It was true that there were many Guardian Cats on Earth, even more if one counted their corrupted kin but it'd do best not to confuse this newest arrival. Selinur's face flashed through her mind and instead of treating Procyon to an interrogation Illyria settled down once more, doing her best to stretch out in order to warm this stranger up.
"Procyon, no, Guardian cats are not what species is dominant here on this world. Those that call themselves humans seem to be the most populous, outranked only by the insect kingdom. Amongst humans though are senshi that are like you, fighting to rid this world of chaos. We Guardian cats do what we can to assist senshi in this fight."
She paused, hoping that her words were having some sort of effect on Procyon, "being your regular senshi self will raise a lot of questions that you may not want to answer right away. But right now, since it is you and I on this bench, alone. Ask me any questions you wish to have answers for and I will do my best to answer them."

Nodding and thinking about the things she said for a moment, he wondered about what kind of things insects were here if they had their own kingdom in this world. Were they similar to the smaller creatures that lived beneath the waves of his home? There hadn't been much of anything up on the land there. "So these humans, are they more my size? Or are they more your size? I feel maybe I am closer to their size if the openings on the buildings I saw mean anything. It is good that there are those willing to stand up against chaos here as well." His smile faltered for a second before sneezing, making sure to turn his head away and not get it on his new friend. Droplets of water shook off him from the motion. "Oh I apologize, the wind is a bit chilly and I'm not used to breezes. I'm more used to currents or artificial air movements."Enjoying the warmth as he relaxed back on the bench, he looked up at the sky again for a moment as he thought of questions to ask. "If being like this will raise questions, what should I do? I want to try learning about Earth a bit and what things are going on here. But I'm also very cold and very tired. I don't really know where to go to remedy these things here. " He rubbed at what was left of his arm thoughtfully, maybe they would know how to fix him.

Would Ida mind another senshi like Selinur at her place for a few nights while we get this one settled? I wonder if that would be okay. Or there are probably others that could house Procyon until he gets his feet under him. But is there anything I can do for him now? I wonder if there's some Mauvian tech that could help with his appearances...
Hearing the questions that were coming from her new friend now Illyria had to quash down the first instinct before taking the questions as being serious as coming from this newcomer to Earth. Her voice was patient as she concentrated softly on the pocket of subspace that she controlled before summoning a small pen on a keychain. As it fell into Procyon's lap she nudged at it briefly before grasping at it with her teeth. "Humans are, for the most part, around your size Procyon. Although some may either appear larger or smaller depending on various factors like race, age and gender. But regardless of that, they are all bipedal like yourself, which is why you are right in concluding that they are using the doorways on buildings you have noticed."
Illyria was thoughtful as she debated the next challenge that was presented to her. Could she make a spare glamour pen for this senshi in a suitable time frame?
"As for your other query about how you might fit in more naturally among others, I can show you a device that I sometimes use to pass as human. I made this item a while ago but it does the trick. Watch and see."
Figuring that Procyon would not appreciate a human woman on his lap when she transformed, Illyria hopped off the senshi's lap before landing on the ground before she pressed the button that saw her human glamour activate. Gone was her cat form. Instead she appeared in a classy, yet casual style with her massive curls briefly being teased this way and that by the breeze that continued to persist. As she replayed Procyon's last words about being cold and tired Illyria once more concentrated on her subspace before bringing out another object in which she gently unfolded before passing to Procyon. "This is a blanket. If you wrap yourself up in it you can warm up a little. This is also what I was talking about. I have a tool that allows me to take up a human disguise for about three hours a day. I could try to make you one similar but find a way to extend the time so that you'd be unlimited in how long it could be used daily"
Illyria sighed as she sat down on the bench, "but I would need a few days time in order to do so. I could try finding a place that would allow you time and space to rest while I construct this for you and then we'd need to network with other senshi in order to find a solution that would be more than just temporary in terms of lodging."

Nodding along as Illyria spoke he glanced around for a moment to see if he could spot any others walking about. Everything had variety it seemed, even in this new world and he was excited to see all sorts of different people. Noticing the pen-like thing that the cat dropped, he was curious about what it was. Although it didn't take her long to show what the device did. The lack of warmth left him to shiver again for a moment as he looked up at the form that stood in front of him. Her hair was so curly and bouncy, it looked so gorgeous. "Oh wow! You look very pretty! Oh if that is something to say freely, of course, I mean no offense." Taking the blanket, he pulled it around himself tightly. Covering his head but not his face, he felt much better without the wind hitting him. "I think that would be very fun! I could explore all the things here without standing out as much, I would be okay with that timeframe if you aren't able to extend it though. Any amount of time I get to explore would be a blessing I feel like." Looking over at her as she sat down, he was still in awe about the technology she had used and the fact that she could make things like it. Technology was something that he had only really seen being used by those visiting his world. There were some things they had but mostly lighting and temperature controlling devices, nothing to change one's appearance. Smiling for a moment at his new friend, he had some ideas forming already. "I believe in you if that's any consolation. If I could sleep somewhere for the night I would be okay with exploring and trying to find others in this area afterward. I hid for a very long time back home so I should be able to stay out of sight if needed until you are able to make another of those devices."

Illyria shook her head, her curls bouncing around in the breeze that continued to pass over her, "you aren't out of line for commenting that I look pretty. I also thank you for the compliment," and it was true. Illyria did appreciate the compliment on how she looked when wearing a glamour. She glanced off into the night before turning off the glamour. Now that Procyon knew what she could make for him it was better to return to cat shape in order to use her latent abilities.
"I figure it wouldn't take too long to build a new device that you could use to do the same thing that I've just shown is possible. I figure it's probably safer for the both of us at the moment for me to be in this form so that I can sense if anyone else is around. Being in a civilian form means I cannot be as efficient in my duties as a Guardian cat."
Illyria looked thoughtful for a moment before she continued, "tell me Procyon, are you sensing anything around us at the moment? Illyria was keen to learn if senshi that came to Earth, like Selinur had the same abilities that senshi awoken on Earth seemed to have.

Blinking for a moment as Illyria returned to her normal form, he was still in awe of the whole thing. "Oh, that makes sense. Since it's like a mask in a way it would dampen your senses. I should remember that." Thinking for a moment as she spoke, he then focused on his surroundings with his eyes closed. There really wasn't much at first outside of Illyria but he could tell at the very far edges of what he could sense that there were some familiar feeling auras to his own. Nothing felt out of the ordinary until, just past the edge of what he could feel, a sharp and dark aura tickled at the edge of what he could feel. It felt like chaos but not in the same way as what was on his planet. For a moment, he bristled with anxiety as he looked worriedly at Illyria. "I felt something very far off that worries me. It feels different from what plagued us back home but I worry about it. It's really far off though and I can sense a few others like me between us and it at least. We should be fine right?"
He tried to smile a bit, thinking about how far off it felt. It would be fine, this wasn't like back home. There already were so many blips of light here on this planet and it gave him some more hope.

Illyria nodded, more to herself than anything, with the revelation that it seemed that even senshi who were not awakened on Earth had the same proclivity for sensing the auras of others. That was a good thing to make a note of. Even as Procyon reported on what he'd felt far off in the distance did Illyria bristle just a little at the far off aura that spoke of a chaos-aligned individual. But it was a far ways away from the pair of them.
"That would be probably someone from the Negaverse, or a dark mirror senshi. I think we shall be safe. In my presence your own aura is being muffled a little so that whomever that is won't take any interest in us."
Illyria sighed before hopping back up onto the bench that the senshi sat on before glancing around at the vista. Her paws itched to find Procyon a safe place to stay as it wouldn't be a good idea for a newly arrived member of order to wander around wily-nily. She cautiously moved closer to Procyon before seating herself in his lap once more.
"Is there anything else you wish to ask of me Procyon? I could find you a place to rest for the evening if you needed it. Or if you are hungry, I could find you food," Illyria trailed off, she wasn't sure if her offers would be rebuffed or not, but she had to try.

Thinking for a moment as he sat wrapped in the blanket, he nodded. If she acted as a buffer or something of the sort to keep chaos away, then things would be fine. "How would I get ahold of you after tonight? I would be ok with a place to stay if you have one to offer but I wouldn't want to put anyone out either. As for food.... I have no idea what things are like here but I would like to try some. Herbs and greenery, that is what I'm used to if that helps?" He had been hungry but being cold and tired took priority in a place that was new and very different. Reaching a hand out of the blanket, he stole a quick pet on her head. "Maybe if you know others like me, I can meet them as well? I wonder if I know of any of them from before things fell apart. It would be nice to find them and reconnect if they are around." It was a long shot but the fact that he had made it here could mean that someone he knew was here as well.

Shelter, food, more friends. In that order.
Illyria leaned into the hand that pet her head before staring up at Procyon with her violet orbs. Honestly, without discussing things first with a certain someone she could not offer up a place to stay for very long. But in regards to food and answers, she could offer the newly arrived senshi some hope there. There was also the means of communication between herself and Procyon.
Considering that this senshi arrived on Earth and was not awakened on the planet the Mauvian gave pause before wondering if she could grant the other a means of staying in touch. She sighed before changing her position on the senshi's lap, "I might have an idea for how we can stay in communication and it won't take long to establish," at that word she went silent and still before concentrating deeply on Procyon before she grinned. A moment later an object dropped onto the bench beside the senshi and she hopped off his lap to gently paw at it.
"This is your new senshi phone. You can do a lot of things with it including storing the contact information of other senshi like yourself just by taking their pictures with the camera feature," she paused before looking around.
"I have a device that is similar so I'm sure that if we took each other's picture that we'd be able to stay in communication. I believe I can help you get food and a place to stay, although it might be for just a few days. Though I might have to ask first. I also believe I could put you in touch with at least one senshi that is like yourself, possibly two. Although I'm not sure entirely on the second senshi."

Procyon smiled as they leaned into his hand, she really was softer than anything he'd felt before. Watching as she focused on something before the object dropped onto the bench, the suddenness of it made him jump a little. "Oh! That was cool!" Picking up the device, he turned it over in his hands as he tried to figure it out. Toying with the buttons, he eventually figured out how to get to the camera app. "So like this?" Clicking the button, the phone made a sound and he turned it to show her the photo he had taken of her. That was really cool that something so small could take a photo. "I understand, I wouldn't want to burden others too much. I am glad for any help, I'll do my best to help out any way I can in return." Looking at the device, he wondered how much other technology existed here on this planet. Hopefully he could figure it out quickly so he could learn more about everything here.
