Feeling a bit silly wandering around outside and a tad worried that she'd be questioned by some night security..
"Ah.. finally." Relief washed over, as she had accomplished first step, finding the building number, and went straight away to the front door, punching in a lock code.

Proceeding past a guest area, heading along the hallway, passing a number of rooms. Entertainment suite.. indoor court.. game room..
Halting, Emiko nearly missed the elevator! Up button pressed she waited, looking around, before closing herself up in a mobile box.
A ding notifying of it arrival, before opening, Sone instinctively took a step back.. expecting at least one person to exit.. it was empty.
Well, mind as well fill it.. Emiko entitled herself to fill it.. a gloved hand uneasily reached over to hold her elbow.

Walking the hall, that didn't vibe as a hallway and gave the impression it was more of a lengthy living room.
Finding the door number, Emiko gave a final look around, really appreciating the atmosphere it gave.
Releasing a low breath, calming her nerves, through all the years together, Sone had never been over to Luca's place.
Glancing down to open the door.. a glance had just become a stare. Emiko hadn't had much of a need to open doors, mostly they were opened for her or simple.
Never had she seen an ergonomic linear lockset door handle.. maybe pull it? Sone gave it a try, despite the door being one that swings inward.
Turning it wasn't an option.. an attempt to just push it in was a straight failure. Emiko Sone stood in stumped confusion. "Oh, well.."

Emiko knocked on the door, problem solv- "Open!" was a calling shout for her to come right on in.
Sone's eye grew, knowing well, she was in a stuck spot of embarrassing admittance or figure this out in the next couple seconds!
Taking another shot at it, she pressed the center, perhaps it worked like a button?! She'd rather go down fighting this puzzle, into embarrassment!

It didn't work. Giving another knock, Emiko called out, "Your handle's broken!"

Blushing at the praise, although Emiko Sone seemed to be caught into a little confusion, as she took sight of Blue Blossom's wear.
"Gracias mi Bewty Blue.." Sone's wards trailed to an open ended greet. Aroma wafting freshly out the door, hitting Emiko in the face.
Along with an understanding, that there had been a misunderstanding, and likely on her part.. being so caught up and busy lately..

"Something smells wonderful." Entering Luca's crisply clean abode, stepping into a lowly lit, calm atmosphere.
Sone's natural hazelnut eye made a single roam around, her sweet girlfriend's place.
From common area, skimming quickly through the scenery of a few couches, tv, bar, to kitchen where the magic was at.
Facing again to Luca, "Please excuse me, I need to make call, I've been under a different impression and have left someone waiting on us."

Guilt taking hold, quicker than she could quickly finish the phone call.. making a quick press from previous calls that day.. and phone to ear.
".. Yes, hi. Change of plans.. mhm, no, you have tonight off." Emiko's eye veered from one place to another, admiring wall artwork, a nice choice of table..
"Oh.. um. I'll make arrangements if need be.." Sone's trailing eye fell to the busy back of Luca.. and a drop more, fastly averting her eye to the vast window view.
"Thank you, bye." Slipping away the cell into a concealed pocket of her dress, Emiko stepped into kitchen for need of social proclivity with her lovely enchantress.

"Soo.. what have you got going on here?" Tentatively moving close, peeking at workings of stove mystery.
Sone and her observant eye, found worry on the face of her gem. "Pretty, kitty.. is something the matter?" A nickname of warmth and tease to perk her up.

Listening to Blue Blossom's concerns and also hearing her care, with the pangs of being left in solitary, hitting Emiko especially hard.
Knowing of personal first hand experience.. Sone gently put a hand over Luca's, slipping the knife from her.
"I'll take the remaining veggies, get to those shrimp-steak meats." Ending her assertiveness over the meal prep, with a fleeting peck to Luca's cheek.

A careful eye on cutting a carrot, "No, I'll be staying the full night, just called our driver off." Letting a knowing sigh go..
"Ahaaii~ I know I've taken up a lot.. with connecting my biological father, handling silly squad, Kyra.. Yaah.. I just slipped up on what was expected tonight."
Emiko stole a glance at the lovely Latina, all blended with blue. "Thank you." Appreciation given, grateful to have someone to actually go out of their way for her.

Sone slanted her head to direct an ear in listening, just finishing up the carrot.. "It hasn't.. but accomplishing all the pieces is never easy."
This was nice. Really nice. Serene even, Emiko cleared the board for some long green veggie and was silent for a moment. Slowing her cutting of celery.
"She's well.. spoiled rotten. Won't be easy to set her back right." Finally speaking up.

"Not too worried on it.. be having a trip with Kyra and Salem in a few days, will be back before Unforgiven."
The lighting and of scents mixing in air, had dulled her mind. Concentrating more on work in hand than what went out her mouth.
"He wants a trip together, as a family in Belfast." Sone softly smiled, having time with Luca was comforting.

Witlessly missing the apprehension in her bae's question. "Yeh, Kyra needs a healthy representation of parent relationship.."
Soon as those words rolled out, there was some incorrect nudge, mildly taking a turn in her, that didn't quite hit right and dismissed thoughtlessly, too focused on slicing.

Emiko glanced over for a second, for a peek at the loveliness that was Luca. "How is Johnny? Is he strong?" Queried Sone.
