A spotlight lit up and focused on the stage as Ramona Tyler stepped out. She was not clad in her usual garb of black leather and a hood. Instead, she was dressed white pants, snakeskin boots, a Hawaiian shirt over a black tank top, and a straw hat. A lantern was clasped in her hand and held aloft. An homage to a fallen idol of her and her brother both. They had been asked to appear, to lead the crowd in a moment of silence and a ten-bell salute. But she stood alone. Her brother away and awash in grief that he did not wish to share. The only ones who would be privy to Rex's suffering would be him and The Serpent that watched them all.
You can throw it all away
When things break, things shatter
Keep it written on your face
The little details matter
Only in me
(I am the coil, I am the spring)
Only in me
(I am the ghost in the machine)
Only in me
(Recount confession, give no release)
Only in me
(Only in me will your stain ever live to be)
When things break, things shatter
Keep it written on your face
The little details matter
Only in me
(I am the coil, I am the spring)
Only in me
(I am the ghost in the machine)
Only in me
(Recount confession, give no release)
Only in me
(Only in me will your stain ever live to be)
Ramona walked slowly down the to ring, where a bell awaited her. She wanted to look out at the crowd. To share in their grief, but the sight of the ring ahead and the firefly swarm beyond was almost too much for her already. It was enough that she had to walk to the ring alone, without her brother or her family, but seeing the shared heartbreak amongst that crowd. To see the agony and the anguish that she felt reflected back at her a hundred fold, it would be too much for her to bear. She got to the bottom of the ramp and she stared up at the ring. It was only then, she dared to look out at the crowd that was close by. And her heart broke a little more
Die for me brother
(Know not what you've seen)
Love one another
(Know not where you've been)
Lie for me brother
(Know not what you'vе said)
Use me for cover
(Whеn things break, things shatter)
(Know not what you've seen)
Love one another
(Know not where you've been)
Lie for me brother
(Know not what you'vе said)
Use me for cover
(Whеn things break, things shatter)
Ramona moved to the steel steps, and hesitated by them before stepping up them, pausing after each step. She walked along the apron and stopped halfway along the way, looking out at the crowd again before stepping into the ring under the top rope As she walked into the center of the ring, the spotlight widened to show a table with the ring bell on it and next to it was an old rocking chair.
Just a sliver of a thought can make
Even a thick head clatter
Disappear without a trace
While the whole worlds laughing
Even a thick head clatter
Disappear without a trace
While the whole worlds laughing
The music died down as Ramona looked from the rocking chair to the bell. She looked out at the ring announcer who gave a nod.
"Ladies and Gentleman, on behalf of Ramona Tyler and all of us here at WWF:G, we ask you please for a moment of silence as we send off Windham Rotunda also known as Bray Wyatt with a Ten Bell Salute."
The fireflies stayed lit as Ramona grabbed the hammer. A final look shared between her and the announcer before she raised the hammer, tears welling up in her eyes.

As the salute finished, Ramona looked to the chair. She took the lantern in her hand and sat it on the seat of the chair. She walked around to the back of it and slowly took off the Hawaiian Shirt and sat it on one corner of the back of the chair. She let her hands rest on it before she took off her hat and placed it on the other corner. She looked out at the crowd.
The Sorrow built in her fast and hard and tears started to fall. She stepped back and dropped to her knees as was common in her group. She looked up to the heavens and raised a hand to sign Thank You Bray to the heavens. Then the lights went out in the arena. For a moment the only lights in the arena were the fireflies and the lantern on the chair. When the spotlight came back on, Ramona was gone. As was the table with the bell.
The only thing in the ring was the chair with the shirt and the hat and a lit lantern. The spotlight focused on the chair while the crowd chanted THANK YOU BRAY. For minute there were chants and the focus on the chair. Then the spotlight went out. A moment later, as if from beyond, the lantern was blown out, submerging the arena into darkness again.
