Fiiadri was thrilled to be out and about with her papa away from the house. They'd taken a trip to run some supplies for mama, and along the way he'd promised they would see if there were any fun shiny things about. Papa was doing the serious business stuff of course because he was the adult, so that left her to practice her magic tricks she'd been learning from him! Her newest goal was to learn the coin trick that she'd seen papa do so many times, and was hard at work when she spotted a very colorful individual her age nearby! It was the perfect chance to practice! An unsuspecting target who hadn't seen her magic skills. Fiiadri rushed over to them, eager to catch them before their family stole them away or her own papa came out to find her. "Hey you! Uh excuse me wanna see my magic tricks? It'll be exciting and fun!" she called out, waving her arms in their general direction.

Keiba was wandering about the local marketplace, his mother and father not too far away. It was a rare outing for the youngling, something they hoped would occur more frequently. Though they weren't too excited to be alone, nervous almost to be separated from their parents. Unfortunately, said parents decided it was a nice experience of freedom and independence, something very hapuna apparently, and thus Keiba found themselves wandering.
That didn't do any good considering the overeager youngling racing over and nearly startling them to death, Keiba's bright eyes blinking widly at the silver haired youngling before them. She had pretty dainty crystals and soft green eyes, all traits unfamiliar to the youngling who only just started going out and about.
They blinked once. Twice, and a third time for good measure, before nodding. Unsurely.

Fiiadri gladly took that as a sign of approval and grabbed hold of the other youngling's hand, tugging them closer to the buildings and away from the street. Fiiadri was curious who her magic trick target was, their interesting array of colors nice to look at. She'd never seen anyone like them before, and she hoped she impressed them enough they would want to talk more afterwards. She positioned them in place before her, nodding once she was pleased and stepping back. "My name is Fiiadri and I'm gonna show you magic tricks now!" she exclaimed, holding her hands out in front of her to show she didn't have anything in her hands. She did as her papa taught her and kept the coin looped on a fishing wire against the back of her palm, trying to keep it hidden as she reached out to the youngling's ear and "pulled" the coin from it. "Tadaaaa!"

As they were tugged forward, Keiba awkwardly stumbled along. They were still quite petite for their age, and it probably didn't take Fiiadri much effort to move the two of them toward the buildings and away from the crowd. Once they were positioned in front of the girl, Keiba swallowed a moment before brushing their hair back behind a sharp ear.
"Oh-kay..." they replied, also not sure what a magic trick was. Their parents weren't the magical type, so they were not as confident in such things, "I'm Keiba."
Bright eyes glanced down toward empty hands, blinking as brows furrowed in confusion, before gasping as she reached forward to where they had just pushed their hair back. Head spinning to the side, Keiba watched as the coin was pulled back and the girl seemed to make great excitement around such a thing.
"Wait, that wasn't there..." They floundered, eyes wide and blinking between the coin and Fiiadri's excitement.

"Wasn't that super exciting, Keiba?" Fiiadri beamed, pleased that they seemed to really be amazed by her trick. She'd work for weeks to get it right, just like papa taught her, but Taarum never was too impressed by it. He was too busy with other things to be her test subject. She made a show of making the coin disappear once more before tapping the youngling's other ear and pulling the coin once more. "I think magic tricks are just the best! One day I'll travel the world showing them off!" Fiiadri rambled to her willing participant.

Exciting wasn't necessarily how they would have described it, more startling, shocking, a bit magical. But her energy was contagious and Keiba found themself nodding along and sharing a smile in return.
"My parents travel the world looking for treasure, maybe you need to show them how easy it is to find and teach them a magic trick?"
Sucking on their lip a moment, Keiba found themself a bit curious, "Do you know any other tricks?"

Hmmm. Any other tricks? Most of her fun magic trick things had been left at home! Her daddy had said it was best to travel light since they wouldn't be gone long, but that didn't mean she'd left everything. She still had her coin, and a pencil.... "Oh wait yes I do!! Uhhh....hang on!" Fiiadri turned quickly to hide her trick from Keiba, pulling out some sticks and slipping one into her sleeve so they couldn't see. With the other she pressed it against her palm, situating her sleeve stick so it stuck out just enough to press against her palm stick. "Look!! It isn't falling!" She exclaimed, turning to show off the seemingly floating stick against her palm while hiding its counterpart keeping it aloft.

[ Keiba 4 ] Watching with bright eyes, Keiba blinked a few times as Fiiadri turned to hide her trick. They hesitated themself, before shifting on their toes to lean slightly around and possibly see what she was doing. When she turned back, Keiba stepped back to look at the floating stick. " Is this the type of magic adults use?" They asked with curiosity, " I thought magic had to do with elemental stuff, like fire and wind?"

Fiiadri frowned at that and hid her stick back into her pocket, crossing her arms as she looked over Keiba. Her mama could do magic, she did very good magic that helped a lot of people, but she didn't think she could. She knew what her daddy could do, and she thought she could mimic him! "Oh well, no. I don't think so. My daddy can't do magic. Not like my mama. And I learned from him soooo....different? I can't do elemental stuff.....can your parents? Are they super cool?" Maybe her magic wasn't as impressive as real adult magic? "But uh....this is cool too! It's not elemental, but it's still fancy!" Fiiadri attempted to reassure, becoming a bit self-conscious of her tricks.

[ Keiba 5 ] Keiba hadn't really seen much magic, all things considered, as their parents were both more explorers than magicians. Sometimes their father did little tricks like the ones Fiiadri did, but nothing monumental like the stories they heard from travelers. " My momma uses a bow and my papa explores...he finds stuff?" He added with a bit of a head scratch, " They can swim underwater and breath underwater...I hear a lot of Earthlings can't do that..." That was pretty cool, considering Keiba could do it as well. " Well, even if your tricks aren't magical, they are pretty cool..." Keiba added quickly, blushing.

Fiiadri rocked on her heels as she listened to them speak, clapping her hands together as they explained how they breathed underwater. She didn't think she could do that! Though she'd never tried really. Keiba definitely looked like they would be the type to breathe underwater even if she couldn't! She wondered if it was some sort of skill to be learned, or more something that was passed down. Like eye color! "Your parents sound really cool. Not as cool as miiiine, but still really cool. I bet they find all sorts of stuff since they can go under water! And you can do it too? What a wonderful thing."Fiiadri peeked more at Keiba, trying to not so subtly see how they breathed underwater and normal air before promptly giving up. "My magic is cool you're so right! And one day when I get way better I'll go join the circus or something. Maybe travel around and show off my skills! What about you?"
