A mere chuckle and a smirk from the God of Time,
" Is that right? If I wanted to beat you with someone else's move, I wouldn't have held back with the Beheader... "

"Well, about time you stop holding back and show me what I came here for."

Jarel takes a few steps closer, to make sure both are within striking range. He's choosing not to strike just yet, perhaps out of curiosity, perhaps because he has something in mind anyway

" Well, if you're looking to chokeslam kids... There's plenty of them in the crowd that look like they need it. "

Obviously, Chrono was referring to the training video where Jarel was training with his family.

" But if you're looking for something... Sorry not sorry but my gold plated Blue Eyes White Dragon card is not for sale. "

Another humorous laugh, as the God of Time then circled around Jarel,
"No games then..."

"Should have mentioned the card first if you really wanted my attention. Jerk."

There's not telling just how serious Jarel is with this, but he is serious about no more games or holding back. With the God of Time circling, the Dragon raises his fists and circles with him, waiting for the right opening

:" If you wanna go to the shadow realm 'that' badly then, just know... You'll be subjected to Sunny and Russo doing commentary for your matches, where you'll get nothing but super kicks for all of eternity..."

Chrono smirked, "But I wouldn't wish that on 'anyone'... ...Almost anyone..."

Raising his fists as well, taking up a boxing stance. It was clear that all the fun and games was over for now.

Jarel manages to keep a straight face though he can think of a few they might both wish that on. Now that it's time to really get serious, Jarel doesn't quite see an opening yet. That won't stop him from trying to make one.

inching in, the Dragon tests out aiming a left jab at the God of Time. Not his dominant hand but there's a method to the madness

It took a lot of method, a lot of madness for both of them to be the way they were.

Lifting his left arm up to block the jab, Chrono went to give a body blow with 'his' right to Jarel's ribs.

Jarel had taken a small risk with that jab and he knew it. there wasn't much of a way to avoid the counter to his blocked jab, as he eats a body shot on his left side from Chrono's right hand. Jarel grunts from the impact and takes a step back. he was going to feel that one for a little while but he attempts to fire back a right at the side of Chrono's head anyway

The blow hit Chrono in the side of the face, and the noise of the crowd silenced
At least 'they' were rowdy, but Chrono? Couldn't hear them.
He just hurt static in his head.

That one hurt.

And he was reminded of something someone... Fiendish said:
" I am the color red in a world of black and white. "

Which, is what Chrono was seeing now, just red.
Inhaling deeply, the God of Time reared back and attempted another body blow to Jarel's ribs.

HARD.

Jarel is forced back a step again, a hiss escaping him as the second harder body blow connects. If he were younger and less experienced, he'd be tempted to check his ribs after that one. thankfully, this isn't his first rodeo, as they say.

The Dragon looks to return with another right of his own, also adding a bit more force behind the attempt but aiming closer to the jaw this time

Moving just shy of the blow to the jaw, it 'did' however hit Chrono in the forehead.
...

A pause, as the crowd hushed, it was as if time stood still
The blow sounded like a canon being shot out, and the sound reverberated 'after' the shot hit.


Visibly Chrono slumped for a moment, his shoulders could seen shaking
Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale

Jarel's fist was still embedded on Chrono's forehead.

The sound that came out of Chrono's mouth was chilling, and haunting.
An earth-shattering primal bellow.
Pain, anguish, and rage rolled into one.

there it was. That was what Jarel was expecting out of the God of Time. It was about to get rough, though for who was a matter of time and perspective. The Dragon however is looking to kick the pace up, as he'd come in with a left handed body shot that he'd follow with another right to the head if he managed to connect, his full intent to drive Chrono back and keep him at least slightly off balance

Jarel wanted something buried deep within the God of Time.
Something he let sit there, sure he 'went' by the moniker but never 'truly' acted on it

The Behemoth

Because there was the God of Death, The Entity of course, there was Malice, there was Poison Ivan...
All those gimmicks, unironically around the manifestations of Four Horseman of Apocalypse

But, deep down, something sinister.
Primal, unapologetic, instinct

Because all of those gimmicks? Masks or paint
But all a state of mind, something to hide what was inside...

Jarel may have unintentionally awakened that...

The Behemoth lunged at Jarel full force, taking whatever blows the Dragon could dish out, and return them...

if there's one thing Jarel likes, it's a good old fashioned fight. Now the Behemoth is out and Jarel is getting exactly what he wanted. His shots are countered, which he certainly feels but nothing like that aggression in a foe to get the adrenaline going and make him forget he's actually 50 years old.

a body shot and a right returned, his ribs are certainly going to be a problem later but that's tomorrow's problem. Tonight, he attempts to fight through the as he aims to catch Chrono with a knee lift to the gut, which he'd follow by attempting an irish whip to the corner

Maybe Jarel wanted it, but did... He really want it.

That was quite the conundrum and answer that he'd certainly find out.
Using his left hand, the Behemoth smacked away the knee of Jarel, and reared back with another punch from his right...

Aimed directly at the Heart of the Dragon!
