Hobbies: Baking -- Though technically his job, Cecil only started his career because of his love for baking. He used to enjoy the consistency of just following recipes, but as he got better, he began to challenge himself. Now, he is making his
own recipes, and living a more lucrative–happier–life treading his own path. It isn’t as steady as his office job, but it’s been better for his mental health. He regularly participates in events and often has a wide array of different treats to offer. His favorites to make are artisan breads, but he can make pastries and sweets as well.
Blogging/Vlogging -- Some of Cecil’s financial success has come from his social media presence. He isn’t very good with technology–and anyone who watches him will quickly become aware of this–but he has a genuine love to share recipes and baking. He wants to chronicle his lessons, not just for him but for his child as well.
Just in case. He often tries new recipes, strange recipes, or vintage recipes; he posts videos and shares his recipes online. He has a few digital cookbooks, but offers many free resources as well.
Virtues: Dreamer -- Because he is looking for the best in everyone and everything, he
finds the best in them. He sees the good in the bad, and can find the silver lining rather quickly. He likes to fantasize about all the ways things
could be, an he puts in the work to try and accomplish them. He doesn’t think any dream is unattainable, and more than just wishful thinking, he puts in the work to try and reach his dreams–and help others reach theirs. He sees the world through rose tinted glasses, and sometimes misses the hardships and difficulties because he doesn’t focus on them. Overall it leaves him fairly happy and inspired, even in the face of hardship.
Creative -- Cecil is clever and creative and is good at thinking quickly and coming up with original concepts and solutions. He is a fast thinker and isn’t afraid to try new things. Failure is just a part of the learning process, and he is hopeful to find new and creative solutions to common and everyday problems. He thinks out of the box and finds inspiration in the mundane, and he always seems to be working on something.
Flaws: Overwhelmed -- Cecil has too much on his plate, and he keeps putting more on. He makes too many commitments and struggles to keep them all. It means that he’s sometimes having to cancel at the last minute because he was
so sure he could do it and doesn’t realize he’s failed until the last minute. When he
does manage to keep his obligations, it’s usually at the expense of his health and personal time. He hasn’t yet managed to figure out a good balance–yet–but he’ll work on it. When he makes time.
Gullible -- Believing people comes second nature to Cecil, and he very often trusts what people say. He doesn’t always have the time to do extra research to fact check, but he believes that people are innately good and wouldn’t maliciously deceive. He gets swindled easily, and does not have accurate information, so regularly needs correction. He gives people more chances than they deserve and is always surprised when he’s been burned. Again. He spends too much time on people that don’t deserve it, and it only ever adds to his burdens.
