The process of tearing her life apart and then piecing it back together into something that could go on without her occupied Emily's days. Hestia's nights remained long, but winding down. She felt a threshold of sorts approaching as everything began to reach the point of readiness. She should be exhausted from it all, physically and emotionally drained. Mentally a total husk.

But the fact of the matter was, this is the more awake and alive she'd felt in years. Her energy has reached a go-and-go-and-go momentum. Hestia was a purpose driven perpetual motion machine and she was starting to become restless in these quieter nights when compared to the frantic spinning plates that had become her days.

But she wasn't even hunting youma at night anymore and patrolling for the past few days had become searching. For one, specific, shitty captain who she could trust to hurt her, horribly, and not feel any sort of emotional burden for doing so. Striding impatiently down and empty street in one of the bar districts, the senshi's fingers poked at the wisp that still insisted on following her.

"Come on, where are you?" Hestia impatiently scanned the area and found it entirely lacking in chaos signatures.

Perhaps what she found was quite the opposite of the large captain with no qualms about hurting her at all.

A large Maine coon was keeping a careful eye on her as she moved, his tail swishing behind him as she followed her. Something seemed intriguing about her determination, and something felt familiar about the energy that radiated from her. As she paced, he found himself running through the reserves of his knowledge to try and locate an equivalent; he had not been awakened on Earth for terribly long, and it was an occasional struggle to piece together the knowledge he needed.

It felt so badly on the tip of his tongue that it was frustrating. What was this super senshi, and what should she have been?

Perhaps that was the answer to his question. Elliott would take the time to paint the results in his mind, but that was an inappropriate canvas with such short time to work. She could move, she could dehenshin, she could move to her world.

It seemed she was trying to find someone. He would wonder if it were him, but he knew Mauvians gave such terribly small signatures as cats.

"Senshi," he called, jumping down from the rafters. "Can I help in your search?"

Both wisp and senshi startled, spinning to look at the...oh! A guardian cat! Bowing to him, she introduced herself first, "Hello sir, I'm sailor Hestia. Your entrance was very cool and surprising." Straightening, she gave him an assuring thumbs up.

Glancing around, her smile faded and she got around to answering his question. "There's a captain who's shown up here before. A very dangerous one that I need to deal with." Or, well, possibly make deals with.

"If you see a tall captain in a skirt with a spear, and little pompom shoes, please warn any lone senshi out of the area." The warning came first and then she paused and considered the wisdom of a further request. After a moment she added, "If you could contact me as well, I would appreciate it, sir."

Elliott was pleasantly surprised by her surprise, in a way; it confirmed his theory that it was not him she was noticing. The bow was perhaps the most pleasing part of this, though; to be acknowledged as important was a quick way to flatter him. Elliott bowed his head to her in turn. "A pleasure to meet you, Hestia. I am Elliott. I am glad you find my entrance," he paused for a moment, before completing with a minor bit of hesitance, "very cool."

He was uncertain, still, how he was expected to introduce himself. Perhaps just Elliott was fine, but he did have a relation to another senshi. She was terrified, though, and had only dragged him instead because she thought he wasn't a Mauvian. Considering he was a member of the powered world she so avoided, he was certain he would be a street cat without her oblivion.

He would leave it at Elliott.

Elliott took note of the captain she described, tapping his ear with a paw so he could take a quick look over the Mauvian technology. "Have you considered adding an entry into the database about them? It would spread the news of the lack of safety here faster than either of us can."

This captain sounded distinct if nothing else. Elliott had not seen any wearing a skirt and pompom shoes in concert.

"I will tell you if I see them, Hestia. I do not sense a captain's chaotic aura on the horizon right now."

Nodding obediently, Hestia, "Yes, Mr. Elliott, I added him soon after our last encounter after..." she looked away, clearly unhappy. "Well, after I recovered. He's new to his rank but...well-practiced."

Giving the place another look, she gave a sigh. Possibly for the best, though, she wouldn't a Mauvian dragged in and endangered by the path she was taking. "Thank you," Hestia's appreciation was solemn, but clear. "I'll find him soon."

It was like she could hear a clock ticking and ticking in a steady march toward the hour and whatever alarm it held for her. There was a comforting inevitability to it. She would find him. And...

"I'll do what's necessary."

Elliott used that as a point of reference to scan through what he could find of the database. It was a relatively recent entry, perhaps the most recent one from Sailor Hestia herself.

Aha. Borax, captain. A threat. Efficient with his weaponry.

It seemed Hestia thought she needed to deal with him. Was it a personal vendetta, or had he done something horrible in front of her that she simply could not let stand? Perhaps, no matter the purpose, there was something he could do to help her get there. He sat back, his tail wagging behind him as he glanced just slightly up toward her.

"It is alarming that he is so practiced at captain level. Is it a sign of the military training of the Negaverse, or is he himself efficient?" Elliott was going to have to be cautious of this one. No doubt he was someone that could make short work of a cat like him.

No doubt he could make short work of knights and senshi.

His brows knit. She was determined to deal with him herself, it sounded. She wished to do what was necessary.

Perhaps there was a way he could help.

"I have been getting a sense from you, Hestia, and I believe I know what that sense is." He had felt something similar once before, like the chibi who had been too old for her power. "Hestia, if you could give me your henshin pen, I can assist."

At the concern for military training, Hestia pause and considered it. Thought of Retzian's fighting ability (eh) and Niter's...everything, and shook her head. Even the fight at the bank didn't have the sort of discipline or organization one would expect from group training. "It would be either his...personality," she wasn't in the mood to say anything approaching praise of the man, "or a very small unit."

She paused once again at the request for her pen, heart giving an abrupt thud. Was this...?

Carefully handing it over, Hestia cut off her speculation and said softly, "I would appreciate any assistance you can offer, Mr. Elliott,"

Personality seemed more likely. It seemed considerably less likely that the Negaverse was made of a series of small military units; that seemed to be terribly granular effort to accomplish any of their goals.

Perhaps that was what their leadership had deemed necessary to accomplish their goals at this juncture. Terrifying to consider that there could be such a granular stratagem; it only reinforced how much of a threat they truly were.

Elliott took the pen as it was handed to him, pulling himself out of his thoughts as easily as they began. Yes, this was correct. It was at least the correct ask; the pen itself was the thing that was incorrect here. He concentrated on it, fiddling with a few things about the pen as he attempted to tap it into the correct formulation for what was required.

The pen had changed by the time he was done.

"Super Sailor Hestia, it is a fact that it is time for you to shed that super title. I believe this may help you locate and deal with your nemesis." He reached toward her, passing the pen back in her direction. "Call upon your power as Eternal Hestia, now."

The pen felt heavier than before, and not simply with it's new appearance and adjustments. If felt heavy with purpose and responsibility. Moved, she bowed again to the Mauvian before solemnly holding up the pen and announcing, "Hestia Eternal, Make Up!"

Normally her transformation was more simple and subdued. This time with her sense of purpose filling her and the confirmation of it that she felt in this moment, the area lit up in a burst of light and ribbon and the warm grace of Hestia, her homeworld. No matter what, it would always be her world and she would always be its senshi.

Looking down at her new uniform, it was very much like her old one, save for the weight of wings replacing the weight of her oversized red ribbon. Hestia's eyes lingered on her white bodice. It wouldn't stay that way for long, but she would always be the maid senshi. Hestia, Senshi of Housekeeping.

Looking up, she smiled with total serenity, "Thank you, Mr. Elliot, for helping me become who I need to be."

Elliott sat back and watched with a twinkle in his eyes. Yes, this was his work, but this was her dedication as a senshi that had opened her up to this power. To see a senshi in full bloom like this was stunning to watch, and he was thrilled to be part of it.

Perhaps, one day, he could assist Nembus reach this zenith again.

The important part, overall, was that he could do it. He had been able to help in this way twice now, and he hoped he could continue to do so for more senshi. This had been the first time he had helped a senshi reach the stage of eternal, and perhaps there was something particularly gratifying about that. This felt like a Mauvian's purpose. This felt like what he was here to do.

"You look quite happy, Eternal Hestia." He bowed his head to her in turn. "I am quite happy I was able to help. This is where your magic should be. You have shown that you deserve this, and your starseed was ready.

"I trust you to use this magic well."

"My hope is that my magic will help others, sir. To serve people, and not simply my own fear and anger. It will be difficult," Hestia admitted, "...but I intend to put the rest of my life into trying."

If her intent was to help others, that was the most he could ask for. A senshi's magic should do good in that kind of way. Being able to help others is part of the reason why the magic even existed in his opinion. That seemed especially true because they were linked to planets, and moons, and places deep out in space which also supported life of their own.

"Being a senshi it's never easy, especially in this reality where there is so much to fight. There is so much to stand up against, and to make sure that no one else suffers from any further. I trust that your life's purpose will serve the innocent well."

Elliott was optimistic, especially because she already intended to deal with one of the bigger threats that she had found. If she could get him off the street, get him to stop doing what she described in her entry of him, that would be ideal.

He hoped the new power would get her there.
