Rage still roiled hot in his core when he reached Destiny City, his teleport landing him not far from one of the city's more protected centers. Places full of shops, parks, museums, attractions received more attention from the White Moon, which in turn outlined to him the areas to which they were personally attached. Faustite knew that, if he craved a fight, these locales and the universities were the better choices.

As a General, his aura didn't project as far, but it lacked the foreboding oppressiveness that might otherwise discourage approach. It was easier, as a lone figure, to bait out any of the overbearing White Moon who saw it as their jobs to interfere with Negaverse duties. To do this, he kept to the rooftops where a clear night kept the city dark and its citizens unaware, and crossing buildings wouldn't beg so many glances skyward when there was enough crime on the ground to demand some situational awareness. Thus did Faustite cross from commercial office spaces rented by dentists and surgeon consults, to insurance broker buildings, to cell phone stores, and toward a gas station that sat in the center of town.

If there would be no auras blooming on the horizon, then it was just as well to claim energy and starseeds for himself until someone donned their moral mantle and came out to meddle in matters that didn't concern them.

"Waiting on you," he muttered to the starless sky.

It wasn't his usual area of patrol - the Uranus knight usually prowled one of the more tourist-y areas near the edge of town. Those areas, however, were remarkably safe, seeming to rarely attract attention of anyone other than the odd youma. Perhaps it helped that things died down there with the sun, so there wasn't much to be preyed on during the darker hours.

A lazier member of Order may have found contentment with such an easy territory. Hawara was at least marginally less lazy, which is what brought him out to this location tonight. Or maybe his involvement with the Piercing Sun was encouraging him to do a little more. While the freedom of Order was nice and he reveled in it like the wind, free and unrestrained, there was no harm in taking a little accountability. That was how he saw his involvement with the group, brigade, whatever they were calling themselves.

Born from former members of Chaos like himself, they had implemented a structure not too unlike the old Negaverse; Reports, standards, expectations. While Hawara was not typically hostile, he also wasn't opposed to fighting. His main task, however, was to keep an eye and ear out for those with a foot halfway out the door - be it toying with the idea of leaving their Chaos' chains, or seeking the comfort of the controlled and regimented environment it offered. He was in a unique position, at least he liked to think he was, where he could offer help in...making up their mind.

His wonder could be rather helpful when it came to putting your mental demons in a row and making decisions. While some would call it fool-hardy to invite Chaos to his home, Hawara was no fool. Precautions were always front and center; there were discussions had, counsel taken. And what if that decision was to stay in, or seek out the embrace of Chaos? Well, then Hawara could face them in battle with a clearness of conscience that they were making that decision with a clear mind and as such, were prepared to die for that.

Of course you couldn't find those sorts if you weren't in a location to find them. Thus, again, his reasons for being there.

It seemed quiet enough of a night. There were just the barest blips of energy signatures, either too low or too far to be of much significance. Hawara continued, walking down one of the busier sidewalks (must have been because of the bars) with no care given to his appearance. These were the people of Destiny City, after all. There may have been a little amusement from some of the non-locals, the odd comment here and there, but he met them good natured-ly enough.

The crowd died down the further out he got, and soon his attention was gripped by a significant energy signature that got more pronounced as he continued in that direction. Dipping down an alley he leaped up, from ground, to closed trash can, to roof. Taking a moment to enjoy the caress of a summer night breeze across his caramel skin which bore the glowing marks of transcendence, he then looked, as if he could see any other odd sod on the smattering of rooftops that he could place the energy signature to.

Still too far out, but growing. Very well. They'd meet in the middle then.

Soon enough, Hawara stood across from a gas station, taking a seat on one of the air units of the structure's roof. There was a General's aura there, no doubts about it. He wasn't one to rush in, guns blazing though. Perhaps Hawara was taking a moment to assess the situation. Perhaps the situation was about to assess him...

There it was — the keening bright of a Knight's aura, spread out over the auric landscape like a blanket. Undoubtedly a comfort to their peers, and smothering to their enemies. Faustite waited, then, for only a minute at most, as he scanned the myriad buildings around him.

There was nothing. No one atop the dentist's office, or the run-down pharmacy, or the building that had sported a 'for lease' sign in its window for at least eight months. No one stood atop the gas station. No one lingered in the paths that he had taken, nor did they come to meet him in the paths that he did not take. Frustrating, for it meant that either the Knight was inside one of the buildings or had taken the streets below. Faustite didn't want to waste time peering over the edges and looking for his quarry. He had half a mind to yell about it, draw the Knight to him. He was on fire, after all; he wasn't ******** hard to find.

As Faustite turned yet again, for the last time as he told himself, he sighted someone in obviously unusual garb a few rooftops away. Too far to tell the symbols he wore, but close enough to see those telltale glows across his skin. That was unmistakably his Knight — his entertainment for the evening.

Faustite started toward the edge of the roof nearest the man, his metal heels digging up gravel as he walked with purpose. "Hey, a*****e!" He shouted across the distance. "Fight me if you have a ******** spine!"

He knew that most of these ******** didn't — that they'd rather cower and run away and preach purification and happy endings for anyone hopeless enough to listen to them. He knew that any of them were just as like to do as Encke did and extoll the virtues of leaving the Negaverse for the sake of freedom and being his true self, as if the Negaverse had taken any of that away from him. And while he hadn't seen this Knight before, there was a high likelihood he wasn't any different from the rest.

At worst, he'd have a runner, and Faustite knew the area well enough to cut him off. Transcendence didn't render him immune to death, either, and it'd be upwards of a decade, like as not, before Faustite would have to deal with this one again.

Fists curled at his side, he leapt to the top of the gas station in his approach.

Both on a roof, just a street in between them, and Hawara couldn't help the amused grin that appeared on his face. Someone was out for a fight. He'd be lying if he said he didn't find it at least somewhat refreshing...and nostalgic.

He summoned his weapon in one hand, and extolled banter out of his mouth hole;

"Not even going to give me a name first? Damn. Still, I like the spirit. And I guess with a reputation like yours, a name isn't really necessary."

Yes, the Piercing Sun definitely had a few things to say about this one.

"An honor to finally meet you."

The amusement and not-quite-mocking tone was designed to irritate the General. For the cherry on top, he gave an exaggerated bow at the waist, but didn't let his rose-quartz eyes off his target.

He should have been taking this more seriously, and on the inside, he was, but....damn if he wasn't leaning in to his own excitement for some unrepentant a**-kicking and arrogant peacocking. Deep down, even he had to admit that appearing to take the moral high-ground and trying to reach people was ******** boring. Sometimes....when you can't move the heavens, you just need to raise a little hell.

"Chrysocolla," he offered regardless. That name may have worn out its welcome, but to his knowledge, few White Moon knew that there was a Chrysocolla, that she was a senshi, or that she and Faustite hated each other. If nothing else, it was another opportunity to drag her name through the mud.

This one had a mouth, Faustite realized, as he rolled his eyes. Wouldn't matter for long, he supposed. He could make it a goal to knock out this one's teeth.

He considered, however briefly, demanding a name. Something to post into the Negaverse Database as 'no longer a threat' once the night was over with, but he hadn't seen this one before and couldn't recall reading bout him previously. It was possible that he evaded detection, or that he often ran into officers who were lazy about recording their findings. But it was just as possible that he seldom went out into the realm of DC as a Knight, and thus he would very much be a faceless kill to the rest of the Negaverse. No fun bragging about one of those.

It gave him pause, too, that this one knew of him. They'd had more than enough officers and senshi turn coat that it was possible for the White Moon to have their own version of the Database. Perhaps, then, this one was involved with it. He supposed he could try to glean some information out of this Knight before he fed him his teeth.

Faustite didn't wait. If this Knight was going to bow to him, then Faustite needn't be polite about it. Faustite knew that being watched wouldn't do much but to confirm that he was no longer there, so he vanished —

— and reappeared to the left and slightly behind the Knight, striking out with a fist toward his side before the waves of heat could yet reach him. "You're obnoxious," he decided in a hiss. Whether that was a statement or a newly assigned name, he didn't specify.
