Standing in front of what looked like a small garage sale in the forested area of a public park at 1am, Hybris considered the wisdom of trying to move everything to his new floaty canvas of a magic island all at once. It'd been easy enough to call an ex to move things from his house over to the park earlier, but moving things himself into the mirrorscape was...hmm. Well. He felt a little sleepy just thinking about it. All his tough mirror girl friends were busy tonight, so that was also a bit of scheduling mistake. Gazing down at his compact, he opened the local messenger and called out hopelessly to any nearby dark mirrors, "Help! Please! Help me, I'm in danger of straining myself."

Fang had been restless this night—he was often restless, but this particular night, heavy subjects weighed on his mind. It had been well over a year since he'd left his planet, abandoned it, coming to Earth to slowly heal and grow his power as a Senshi—coming here on the faintest hope that there would be something for him, some kind of life. Or death. The idea of going back scared him to bits, but he'd made a lot of friends here over time. Maybe... going back wouldn't be so bad. Not with all his people by his side—MIchel, Ida if she would come, Murikabushi, Izanami, Daphne. Together, he was sure that—if they got trapped, they would be able to leave somehow. He wished he had more friends than that—a lot of people he knew he'd only met once or twice, offhand chance meetings that didn't go very far. But... It was still a lot to think about, to be stuck thinking about, while trying to sleep, so he gave up and scurried into the forest for a hunt to clear his mind. He'd been in the middle of stalking a rabbit when someone's loud voice rang through the area and startled all the wildlife. He scowled in their direction and marched over—the person had clearly been calling for help, so he wouldn't begrudge them all that much, but rabbit was rabbit, damnit!! "What help?" he asked, tilting his head as he came into view of the Dark Mirror Senshi—he hoped he wouldn't scare the man. He liked the Dark Mirror. Last time he'd scared one of them on accident, it hadn't ended well, though.

A tall, powerful figure strode out from the forest and that signature was not at all that of another dark mirror, but maybe Hybris could start enjoying the sensation of Order auras if this is what followed. Tall. Ears. Abs. Tail. Yes. Please.Clearing his throat he sent another local message. "Okay help is here, no need to come over. Please don't come over." Don't interrupt his suddenly very good situation! Snapping his compact close as the senshi approached him, Hybris swayed a little in the wind, looking a little pathetic and somehow smaller than a 5'11 guy had any right to be. "I got stuck here with all these boxes of books and pieces of furniture but when I tried to carry them..." Hybris gave a shuddery, pained breath and rubbed his back, giving a little stretching pose that was straight out of one of the annual Christmas calendars that he sent to his exes.

Fang tilted his head curiously, giving Hybris a very concerned look. "Pain?" he asked, stepping more forward. "Fang can carry, no worry. Fang need..." He paused, realizing he'd forgotten introductions, and blushed. "Ah, sorry. Fang." He thumped his chest with his fist, giving a short bow of his head. "Well met, ah...?"

" So much pain," Hybris agreed with a little groan in his voice. The chest thumping and bow that followed Fang's introduction, was...well, delightful, really. "Fang? What a wonderful and strong name to have." Battling his eyes up at the towering senshi, he asked, "What were you going to say? If you need anything, I'll do my best to give it to you." Shifting his hip, Hybris posed a little as if to accentuate the entirety of the anything that he had to give.

Fang's ears twitched. Huh? What did his name have anything to do with being strong? It was just... his senshi name, his planet name. The way Hybris spoke to him baffled him. But he supposed maybe it was one of the weird cultures he hadn't run into yet—there was a lot of variance in Destiny City, after all. "Hybris! Fang need to know where we are going with this stuff," he said, working hard to make himself remember to say enough words. This senshi seemed like he would need more than Fang's usual two or three words to have true clarity with Fang's meaning. He talked a lot so he probably needed to hear more words. Fang just hoped he wouldn't exhaust himself before he even carried all the stuff in.

Watching the ears twitch, Hybris's fingers did as well. Were they soft? They looked like they would be soft. They were so large! Everything about Fang seemed large, for that matter. But there was business at hand, so with a sigh, he let go of his posturing for a moment. "I just upgraded recently," Hybris began, "...and now I have a cute little mirror island all to myself. But it's empty and lonely looking, so I'm trying to make it more comfortable. Have you been through the mirror before, Fang? It's very refreshing!" In a show of I am very good and also helping, Hybris picked up a stack that consisted of a thick, velvety blanket and several pillows.

Fang shook his head—no, he hadn't. But it shouldn't be so hard, as long as he had a hand on Hybris, right? That was how it worked for going to planets, after all. He picked up a few of the heaviest boxes, leaning his head around the stack in his arms and gestured to Hybris with his elbow. "Help Fang find way."

Slipping a hand along Fang's bicep, Hybris gave it a little squeeze before settling his fingers in the crook of his elbow. "It's just this way," he answered breezily, guiding the other to an almost hidden little trail. "You're so powerful! What sort of training do you do, Fang?" Thankfully the trail had enough clearance for both senshi and their burdens. It only took a few minutes before they reached a wider section and Hybris paused, reached a hand out, and tapped at the air? Which rang out and the scenery in front of them shifted a little, making it clear they were standing in front of a very large and cleverly placed mirror that fully blended with its surroundings. "Isn't it fun? It took forever to figure out, but it was the best way to hide such a large mirror outdoors." And then he paused, realizing that...maybe he could have just...rented out a storage unit and had movers bring everything to it, along with a huge mirror and... Well! That was very mundane, and he wouldn't have had the chance to recruit such impressive assistance, now would he? But...maybe next time, he'd forgo this exciting way of moving and do things the very boring, much easier way. Clearing his throat, he began stepping through into the mirror, tugging Fang along with a cheerful, "It may feel a little odd, but just think of it like swimming in air." And then they stepped into the total darkness of mirror, and it's odd, viscous air. "Just stay close to me."
