One moment, she had been walking back her apartment after stopping by the local stationary store for more scrapbooking supplies. The next, she had been facing down what she had initially assumed was a wild bull that had gotten loose somehow, though there was something off about its appearance, that didn't quite fit her knowledge of what bulls were supposed to look like- at least not the ones back on the farm, that was. Ciela had been startled enough to drop her bags, unsure of how to proceed, because she knew no one or had any idea of how to handle this sort of situation in an unfamiliar environment.
(Should she try to call for help, or should she try to run?)
If there was at least one thing she felt she knew, it was that if this really was a bull, then she shouldn't run, and she should act calmly and make no sudden movements. Something to distract the bull with would be preferable, but Ciela wasn't certain if there was anything she could throw at it if needed... and as she slowly knelt down to try to gather up her things, she found herself picking up a book that she couldn't recall buying earlier, that had a curious symbol on the cover, and in the blink of an eye and a flash of light, her appearance changed.
The newly awakened Shiratani Unsuikyo blinked in confusion as she regarded her new powered identity and title, unsure as to what had just transpired, but also realizing there was no time to think about it, because the bull was still there. Or, rather, it wasn't really a bull, now was it? She didn't know the right word for it, but now that she had magic of sorts, she could sense that there was something off about all of this.
Still, she should be getting home, before it got too dark for her to find her way around.
"I'm sorry, I don't wish to harm you, but I really need to be going..." the new Lysithea page attempted to reason with the monster, as she slowly attempted to make her way around it, though its posture suggested it wouldn't be letting her go that easily.
