Leaping from rooftop to rooftop, he could feel the Chaos aura right on the periphery of his senses. Not close enough for concern – yet – but keeping pace with him, tracking him like they were intentionally hunting him. And he could tell from experience that they were yet another corrupt Senshi. Honestly, what was it with him and corrupts? Were they cheaper for the Negaverse than lieutenants (which he had yet to encounter at all)? Or were they more versatile, more willing to do dirty work in the name of Chaos? He had no answers; he just knew that he seemed to attract them like fruit flies to a banana. Or something.
He jumped down off a building into an alley, rolled to his feet, and continued to run out of the alley and across the street. The sensation of his hunter's aura grew just a little bit stronger as he ducked into another alley. Glancing quickly over his shoulder, he couldn't see anyone, but he knew they were still there. He ran.
Finally the Moon Squire decided he'd had enough of being hunted like an animal. He cat-climbed up the side of the alley to the nearest rooftop and stopped, facing the direction of the aura. Summoning his buckler shield, he stood and waited for them to appear. Whatever the corrupt Senshi wanted with him, he was ready to serve it to them.
"Come on, let's get this over with," Spei muttered to himself as the aura grew ever closer. "I'm ready for you." Looking up, he saw the nearly-full moon in the sky and his lips quirked briefly into a small, wry smile. Hopefully the moon would look out for him this evening.
