There had been times before, when she was a few years younger, that Audra would have found the prospect of walking home from where she preferred to golf daunting. That was then. This was now. The evening sky was painted with various hues of purple, orange and pink that spoke of the promising weather that had been experienced today to be back in spades tomorrow. Storing her clubs in a locker that she was renting monthly allowed her to walk unencumbered nowadays and she had been grateful to learn of that option. Now though the teen took a moment to appreciate the tapestry of color in the sky above before her. It truly was the perfect summer evening.
The heat of the day was fading and Audra was dressed in a light colored tee and jeans. She carried a small personal bag with the necessities that the day had required like food and water before swinging it onto her back and adjusting the straps. Blinking rapidly did the teenager set her shoulders before she took a few steps in one direction before she apparently changed her mind. One route was definitely faster in getting her home but on the other hand, she didn't mind the longer route that would take her through one of the city's larger parks. The teen fished out her cellphone to alert her parents to her changed arrival time before nodding. They'd be okay with it. It was summer and thus there was no school and Audra had a good head on her shoulders.
What seemed like twenty minutes later Audra reached her destination of the rather large parcel of green space before entering the park and taking a moment just to admire everything. Destiny City seemed absolutely serene. It was wonderful.

"A tattoo," Acubens parrotted, her tone clearly denoting how impressed she was with the news. "I'm surprised Noctua doesn't have more honestly." Acubens could swear that her skin was criss crossed with ink but... then again... perhaps she was mistaken. She knew about the face full of metal and she was, frankly, envious of. She'd asked Lavender about it once, and her wife had assured her that she would love and kiss her even if she was a worm (which Rhona really didn't deserve and only slam dunked her more in love with the woman) she was still... hesitant. And it felt like if she was hesitant then it wasn't a super good idea. Noctua did offer to pierce her herself, which was very sweet of her. "And that her first was for Benitoite? I always knew she was dedicated to him, but that's... Wow." She wondered, vaguely what it would be like to have that level of dedication from someone she had trained up herself. She thought she'd be proud. She hoped that she'd be proud. Beni was probably proud. "How things change. I remember when she was just a little slip of a thing. Whatever Beni did to help her health, I'm glad that it's sticking." The pavement turned into soft grass under Acubens' feet and she quickly kicked off her heels and dismissed them into subspace to dig her toes into the soft, warm earth. She loved her realm, but that was one thing she'd never been able to replicate. The warmth of sun-bathed grass. She breathed out a sign of relief that the earth always drew from her, wondering if they could hang something like the sun in Mirrorscape.

"Yes, a tattoo for him. It's only a few people who know how much ink my general has covering his own body. Noctua is one who has seen some of it." Though not all of it, there were only two people who had seen it all, both had or were currently dating the ashen blond general. She hadn't even seen it all and she did not want to; she was good with not seeing so much skin.
"He told me about it and I admit he was a little wet in the eyes." Katya said with a nodding of her her little head, her little crown nearly falling into her eyes.
Following at Acubens feet the russian blue kept her eyes onthe other senshi, green eyes taking in the others form, she made a very good eternal. She cared for her court with as much passion as Benitoite did for his small team. She would defend them in wayhs which should scare order, and keep them from her court. It was impressive; it always would be.
"I know what he did and it was hard for them both but it has helped. Noctua does nto remember and I cannot speak about it. But it has helped and will not harm her." Benitoite would never harm another of his team, or another who served chaos. He would help the dark mirror court as well, and she knew it, it was why if he wasn't around when she found a senshi Katya would let a dark mirror awaken them.
"Both you and him as similar in your love for your court, or team in his case, and your love of nature and his." Though he didn't like spiders...those were perhaps the one thing in nature he had a grudge against and would gladly see dead.
Wandering around the grass, not wanting to settle just yet, Katya didn't mind wandering a bit and stretching her little legs.

Audra had no real plan in mind besides taking in the warmth from the sun as it set. The park was fairly large and while there was technically a time limit in which she had to be back at home Audra was keen just to breathe in the atmosphere of a summer evening in which the temperature was perfect. Her thoughts were first and foremost on how she could improve on her long drive with her golfing but also in the back of her mind was the dreaded train of thought about just how much time was remaining before school would be back in session. Audra was going to be entering Meadowview as a freshman, a newbie. She'd have friends attending the school as well so it wasn't like she'd be alone, but in the back of her mind the uncertainty of what the upcoming year could bring loomed.
Shaking off the depressing thought of school when there was still at least another month of summer vacation was easier said then done and soon Audra was once more just trying to soak in the ambience of the early evening before she spotted one of the smaller playgrounds. Okay, so it might have appeared childish to do so, but soon Audra found herself simply enjoying the air that rushed past her face as she sought to gain more air on the swings that she'd come across before laughing aloud in glee.
Childish, perhaps. But absolutely worth the detour through the park. It didn't even dawn on her that there could be others around but even if there were ... Audra was quite content to continue with just being the youth that she still was allowed to be. No one was going to spoil her fun if she had anything to say about it.

Somehow, or rather two someones, however were going to ruin that fun time on the swing. It wasn't like Katya went out of her way to ruin peopels days, she would never do such a thing! At least not to someone who would serve chaos. However, she could feel something nearby...something that rang of promises and power locked up, just waiting to be unlocked. She could feel it but she couldn't see the person. "Acubens." Calling for the dark mirror senshi she went to pounce on her. "Get up and lets go. Someone here has promise - oh so much promise."
Already she was taking off heading towards what she was feeling, assuming the other would follow her. "Since you're here and not my General." Because if he was here she'd have him following her so they could claim a corrupt senshi. Instead this one would be a dark mirror senshi. She would not allow order to gain another senshi for themselves. They had too many as far as she was concerned.
Rushing across the grass, and pavement, Katya continued till she was nearly sprinting past a swing set when she stopped and turned. Lifting a paw to point out the figure on the swing. They were young, or well they were younger than her General and Acubens, she didn't know how young though. "Mine." Hers indeed, as well as Acubens.

At first Audra didn't make the connection that she was no longer alone. Her gaze had been on the changing vista each time that the swing she was on moved back and forth, like the ever-changing pendulum that one could see in a clock. Although the difference there was that a clock's pendulum went side to side instead of back and forth. This lack of awareness of the change in her surroundings lasted only a few seconds longer before Audra's gaze caught on the small pale figure that seemed to be looking straight up at her as she completed another arc and it was enough of an unusual sight that the teen's feet stopped pumping and instead dragging against the ground to slow, and finally stop her swinging motion.
Keeping her gaze on the animal, which she now could identify as a cat, Audra slid off the swing with a gentle motion before kneeling down and extending a hand to the animal. She wasn't entirely sure why the cat seemed to be looking at her but the teen wasn't bothered by the attention, instead she seemed thrilled. Her voice, soft and non-threatening, encircled the animal as she gave voice to her thoughts, "hello there. I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you lost little one?"
Her gaze panned around the park's foliage line before she leaned back. Audra wasn't sure what she was expecting to see, but her first scan showed nothing out of the ordinary before she gazed around again. That's when the figure materialized from nearby and startled, Audra scurried to her feet as the stranger neared. Was this figure the cat's owner? The outfit that the figure was sporting was as extravagant as the teen had ever seen but she would not comment before introductions were complete. Instead she caught the stranger's eyes before looking back down at the cat.
"Is the cat yours, or do you belong to the cat?"
There was a hint of amusement in her query, possibly alluding to the common conception that a household that contained a cat, was actually ruled by said feline. Sleet Tempest Snape sweeny mentioned it was okay that I tag in again

When Katya said to jump, Acubens tended to ask her how high she wanted, especially when her senshi senses got to tingling. And so, when Katya said, "this way, someone needs us," Acubens didn't spare it any thought. She simply ran after the cat without another word, following her lead until she came to a stop in front of... A child. Oh, did that ever break Acubens' heart. Not as young as Lenka had been when they had met, certainly, and not as young as the White Moon tended to like it's soldiers, but... young enough. "Er..." Acubens was caught a little off guard by the question, but grinned first at the girl, and then at the cat in her arms. "Well, I belong to her, more or less. A lot of us do. And, it would seem, you do too. Or rather... you can." And then she stuck out her hand. "I'm Acubens. Dark Mirror Senshi of Velociraptors. And, long story short, you're like me. Or you can be. If you want, that is."

Once Acubens had arrived, and started to speak, Katya decided to chime in as well. It was easier if someone else, like Acubens, broke the ice before she got to talking. She knew how a talking cat might startle a person at first, she very well understood it, so she tried to always wait and let someone else start these sorts of talks.
"No, I don't belong to Acubens, nor does she belong to me. She does follow me however. If anything my owner would be General Benitoite, though he isn't here this evening, so seeing as Acubens is with me your choice is to join her and the dark mirror." Rather than joi nthe Negaverse and become a corrupt senshi, as she would have were Benitoite here. "I can give you power, magic, and help you grow into who you should be. Acubens will guide you, along with her court, and help you blossom as you should."
Offering a little paw out to the human she did her best as a cat to smile but really...cats just didn't have the needed facial muscles for it. "Just let us take you with us and we can do that for you; give you the power which is yours to claim." Because no one else could have her power, no one else would be the senshi she was. She might not claim it but it would always be there for her, it was in her starseed and no one could take that from her.
"It's your right and only yours to have the power you have inside."

Audra had thought the interaction between herself, the cat, and the stranger, who identified herself as Acubens was going fairly well. Although there was the added strangeness of the situation with the title that Acubens had given herself and Audra grew a little perplexed upon hearing it, Dark Mirror Senshi of Velociraptors, was certainly not a phrase that one heard every day and she let her mind digest what it could have meant before she absently shook the offered hand. Just because she was confused, it didn't mean that she needed to be impolite. Although what happened to be said afterwards had the teen perplexed once more. She could belong to the cat as well, because she could be like Acubens?
"Would that make me a senshi of velociraptors then too?"
Even as she sounded that idea out did Audra hear another voice before she glanced down to the cat in Acubens arms. Oh, the cat that she could belong to was now talking to her, and correcting Acubens it seemed. Audra felt the smallest grin appear before she shook her head. No, it wouldn't do well for her to appear like she was laughing at the pair. Instead she listened with rapt attention to the cat, taking in everything that was said.
Once the explanation seemed to be over, Audra gently tapped the side of her cheek with a finger before she mentally picked apart what the cat had said. It felt weird to acknowledge the reality of talking cats and magic but really, she couldn't judge the situation just yet. Audra noticed paw that was held out to her and she gently clasped it before gently shaking it.
"So, if I am understanding correctly, I have a power inside that is mine to claim, but I need your assistance in unlocking it? And once I have this power unlocked I'll belong to this Dark Mirror court?"
Audra paused, hoping she was getting this explanation correct. Her fingers brushed back the hair that threatened to obscure her vision before she glanced around, wondering if this was some sort of reality show revolving around pranks ... but given there had been seen since she arrived here Audra was leaning towards the only real possibility that this was entirely on the up and up. Her gaze moved back to Acubens before she gave a succinct nod, "I'm supposed to be home within the next hour, else my folks will worry. If I choose to come with you and your friend will it take very long?" Audra paused to look down to the cat before adding softly, "I'm sorry, I don't know your name yet."
And before she forgot all of her manners she gave the pair a smile, "I'm Audra. It's nice to meet you both."
