This prompt is kind of a merchant prompt, his shop is closed Barrier is up

This entire last two years had been a journey of acceptance.

Learning to live with the fact that although she still responded to her civilian name and wore a glamour that mirrored what she looked like before the accident. Lavendulan was a half-youma, not a human who had the luxury of owning a home with neighbors or having a pet to join her on the couch at the end of the day.

Sure she had the home that her and Wolframite built together in the ruins of the Dark Kingdom, but his absence has been sorely felt that their home was a haunted place. Sometimes the house would shift as it settled into the foundation and she’d think for a moment that he had returned home for a weekend.

But it wasn’t.

While Lavendulan longed for a cat or dog, she did have Tallulah who definitely had quite the personality. Things had gotten better trust-wise over the last year or so, as did their communications. But there were times when he wanted to just throw her off his back, and did, much to her dismay. A part of her tried to believe that it was a way for her personal youma to keep her aware of their surroundings and be prepared in case of a surprise.

However, deep down she knew that he just had an attitude and so she put up with it for the sake of protection when the two of them scouted out new areas of the Rift in search of the mysterious ore she received from the strange merchant two years ago when she and Tinaksite happened upon him.

Knowing that it was summer now and that the Starfall Festival was in full swing. Lavendulan couldn’t help but wonder if he had returned with new wares to trade for. If so, then she would like nothing more than to ask him for more information on the piece of energy infused mineral he had passed into her possession.

Given the time, she knew that it would be safe enough to teleport to the last place she’d seen him out on the hill about a mile and a half outside of Destiny City. Unfortunately, when she arrived, it was to her dismay that there was a barrier in place, a strange watery bubble that Lavendulan doubted she could pass through if she used her own watery magic

Rather than attempting to force her way through, she waited outside patiently for a few minutes expecting him to either bring down the barrier to speak with her or step outside for a moment. But as time passed and it became evident that he likely wasn’t inside, Lavendulan began walking around the barrier for any indication on when he might be back.

It was then that she noted a sign with elegantly panted lettering posted about ten feet away. “Looking for: Fresh fruit. Hard shelled, brown in color. Preferably large and just ripened. Notable for their slight leakage near the stem. Ideally picked from the tree and not bruised from fall or nibbled by wildlife. Should not rattle when shaken. I will be picky. Will reward handsomely.”

“What the hell does that mean?” she asked aloud despite nobody being around to answer. Again she read the re-read the sign and still felt as confused as before. “Only hard-shelled brown-colored fruit I can think of is a coconut and there aren’t any of those trees nearby for me to pick one from.” Which likely meant that wasn’t what he was seeking. Especially since when shaken it doesn’t make a rattling sound as opposed to a watery sloshing sound.

“Huh, I wonder if this has anything to do with that tree I overheard an officer talking about earlier.” She had been in her office, research lab area when a pair of captains walked by. Her door had been left ajar which allowed part of their idle conversation to be heard. “Something worth checking out I guess…”

First thing first, figure out what park these trees are located.
