Harker scowled as he stormed up the stairs to his shared apartment. Stupid, stupid, stupid.. Of course he'd gotten caught in some random bullshit that left his mouth stuck together. One door slam and a loud frustrated noise later, Harker threw himself face first into the large couch. First he gets jumped from behind by a senshi, now its candy from one. What the hell kind of tactics were they pulling over there? Fishing out his phone, he shot off a text to his boyfriend. Quote: Hey... Where are you? Are you home right now? Sure. He probably could have searched the house, but with his luck would would run into Jean before he found Enfys. And right now the last thing he wanted to deal with was Jean laughing his a** off simply because he was regulated to noises. That and he didn't want to get off the couch now that he was on it. Sighing through his nose, he really hoped this would pass sooner rather then later.

The door slam was loud enough for Enfys to hear it over the music he used to drown out most distractions while he worked; so, when his phone buzzed with a text from Harker, he was already pulling off his headphones and standing up to go find out who had come home in such a Mood.
He frowned, slightly, typing back a quick text.
Quote: On my way to the living room.
And as promised, he was out there within a few moments, concern all over his face.
"Something wrong?"

Harker frowned as he heard footsteps approaching. How did he explain this? Could he explain this? And what was worse... Harker began to wonder... What would Enfys' think of all this? First he get's attacked by some senshi. Now, another has landed him with his mouth stuck together. Harker always thought himself incapable of doing things... But did Enfys? What if the other got tired of him? What if Enfys thought him weak and left him behind? Enfys' wouldn't do that... Right? Harker jumped when Enfys spoke, not realizing how caught up in his own head he'd gotten in the few short moments. With a sigh through his nose, he reluctantly pulled out his phone and typed out another message. Quote: I... I can't talk. My mouth is stuck shut. Some weird candy." Harker hugged his knees to his chest as he passed off the phone, burying his face just so he didn't have to see the look on E's face.

Enfys frowned, at first, when Harker curled up and offered him the phone instead of a verbal response. But as soon as he read it, he let out a sift sigh and nodded.
"It is the time of year for strange garbage again, isn't it," he said, and there was no judgement in his tone. He leaned over towards Harker, but he didn't sit down, in case Harker ended up needing anything.
"Want me to get you some water, love? It'll probably clear up if you wait it out, but it's never amiss to hydrate. Or I can sit down, and you can put your head in my lap, and we can wait for this to fix itself."
Enfys was not a soft, emotional person, on the whole. But Harker brought that out in him, a desire to protect.To give care and comfort and whatever else Harker needed from him, for the sole reason that Harker needed it.
Perhaps that, at its core, was what love meant to Enfys; to give and receive what was needed, for no other purpose than to care for the other person.

Harker signed. When wasn't it time for strange s**t in the city? It felt like there was always something going on, no matter the time of the year. Picking his head up just enough to look at his boyfriend, Harker shrugged. Water probably was a good idea... But if he couldn't open his mouth to talk, he probably wouldn't be able to drink either... And he really didn't want to get into a fight with water, of all things. Pucking his phone out of Enfys' hands he typed out another message. Quote: Water can wait. I don't think I have it in me to fight trying to drink water right now. Weren't you working? I don't want to keep you from anything you need to do. Truth be told, Harker very much just wanted to bury himself against Enfys and shy away from all that had happened. But he also didn't want to cling. Despite everything that had gone on between them, and Enfys' constant confirmation that he wasn't going anywhere, Harker still worried that he would drive the other away. Quote: We can go back to your office if you want. Or I can go find Jean? ...Not that I know where he is right now. He typed out again.

"It's nothing urgent," Enfys said, when he read the message. "You know me. Always working ahead."
It was true--everything he was working on wouldn't suffer for a delay of a few hours. Especially not when there was something far more important going on.
The second message made him shake his head, firmly.
"Here is more comfortable. I needed a break anyway." He reached over, and ran his fingers through Harker's hair. "Rest, love. We'll wait this out, and get you some food and water once you can move your mouth again."
