The Wishing Tree (2) : Your wish is only said to come true if you grant the wish of someone else; when you write your wish, you must also take one off of the tree and do your best to grant it. What wish do you pull off, and how do you intend to ‘grant’ it? Do you work with someone else to grant this wish, or do you work alone? You may get approval from another player to use the wish their character hung up, but no names are attached so your character may not ever know who wrote it!

As Ami was turning away from her wish, Dreama quickly, (and silently) untied and snatched her wish from the tree, hopefully without her noticing. She would read later when she got back to the dorm. She smiled warmly at her friend. "I enjoyed this greatly. I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy much of Star Fest this year, due to school. Triple major.. ya know." Dreama sounded exhausted.
"Anyways I am glad to have spent it with you Ami. I'm sorry to cut it short, but I have a lot more studying to do, and I have to get back quickly. Thank you. Good bye."
She quickly ran off to her dorm to read the paper.

Amigar smiled and nodded. She definitely understood not being able to enjoy the festival. With her bakery she was in the same boat, but she couldn't imagine doing three majors. That must have been tough! School was tough with one major - three seemed crazy to her.
"Me too! It was a pleasure and I totally understand! Good luck studying and bye Dreama," she said with a smile as she waved her friend off!
The moment her friend was out of sight, she reached up to the tree and grabbed her friend's wish. She had never done it before, but she wanted to be able to help her friend grant her a wish. After all with all the work she did at school she definitely deserved a wish in her eyes.
As she unrolled the wish, she read it, and the second she did. She headed directly towards the bakery. She knew the tools she needed to grant this wish were within her hands and the bakery workshop would help her make it come true. As she was leaving to head there a tear grew in her eye, this wish felt similar, and she was happy she had chosen to grant it.
The next day, posters appeared all over school and the city proclaiming:
Bonbons de Sucre Sweets of Sugar Everything From Bakery Breads and Sweets to Hot Chocolate and Coffee Specialties *For every Bread item bought, TWO loaves of FRESH Bread will be donated to the local FOOD DRIVE
Needless to say, there happened to be stampedes to the bakery for the six months or more!

It took her a few hours to finish the wish, but once she did she had boxes and boxes of goodies. She ran to the front and grabbed a few of her works to run to the festival with her really quick. Thankfully all of them were happy to help. They each grabbed a box and went on their way out the door.
As they approached the festival they began handing goodie bags to everyone they ran into along the way. Each bag had a different heart shaped dessert inside, and each bag read "Remember to always be yourself - and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"
She saw the smiles on everyone's face as she handed the bags out. She hoped the wish was granted in a way that her friend would like. Since she wanted to share it with as many people as possible. And thankfully her love of sweets let her do that in a way that message would reach.
As they finished handing them out she smiled and headed back to the bakery to drop of all the empty boxes, but as she did she noticed a poster about her bakery.
Her face lit up as she saw it, and she couldn't wait to see what customers it would bring. "Thank you," she said aloud happy her wish had been granted.
Coming from class a few days later, someone handed her a goodie from her friend's bakery. She smiled at the message and shook head. "Thank you Ami." She went straight to the guidance counselor and asked to drop the other majors. The guidance counselor asked if she had spoken with her parents about it first. She replied that she was about to have a good long talk with them about how she was NOT her older brothers and couldn't possibly fulfill their dreams as well as her own. When the counselor heard that, she immediately agreed to dropping the two other majors. She did go ahead and have that conversation with her parents, but it wasn't easy, and it would take multiple installments.
Finally, she headed over to Bonbons.

Amigar was so happy that her bakery had become successful. Whoever had helped make her wish come true she was truly thankful. Her father was starting to see that she could run a successful bakery on her own. It was like a Dream come true.
Then she heard the door to her bakery open. And just as she was about to greet the guest. She realized it was her good friend. "Hey Dreama!" She said with a happy wave, "how are you doing?"
Dreama grinned and exclaimed, "Well, I have a lot more time on my hands! Due to a certain wish granter!" She grinned and winked at Ami, thanking her. "You have a moment. " She quickly went through everything listing the goodie bags - dropping the extra majors and the talk with her parents. "So you need any help at the shop?"

Amigar was so happy to hear that her friend was free from all her worries, and that she had done what made her happy. She was so happy her wish granting powers worked. "Well I'm so happy I could help and that you are doing what you want!! Don't worry about your parents to much. They'll come around I promise," she said with a smile. She had some experience in that area. After all her mother once wanted her to be like a model, and she had to flat out tell her one day nope I wanna bake. Her mother was devastated that day. Just the thought of it made her laugh. She had such a drama queen for a mother.
"Well since someone helped grant my own wish it has been busy around. I wish I knew who it was so I could thank them properly. But what I think you need is to relax and have a treat on the house!" she said with a smile as she pulled out a few of her new puff pastry and a cup of milk and placed them in front of Dreama.
