architecture: Saoirse watched enough HGTV that her interests started diversifying outwards from there. She likes to know how and why buildings look the way they do, and how and why they work -- although she's particularly not interested in actually designing any buildings any time soon (in real life, anyway; she's sketched some fantasy buildings), she probably wouldn't be half-bad, just given her accumulated knowledge. She likes brutalist stylings and gets hilariously frustrated by Queen Anne architecture.
birdwatching: Saoirse doesn't have a whole lot of hunting instinct, but she does genuinely find it quite compelling to gain as much knowledge about birds as she can, especially what's local and where they can be found. She's a big fan of bald eagle nest cams, and loves to go out and about just to see what birds she might be able to spot; her catlike form does mean she can get non-ground-level views, although sometimes she does end up getting stuck.
Crafting: As a Mauvian, much of Saoirse's aptitudes lie in the technological; she's generally more interested in macro design at a scale that's just not practical to produce, but to keep herself busy or just to set her mind spinning, she'll start building a thing or two. Coding typically eludes her, but the hardware part of tech? She can do that.
virtues:
curious / adventurous: What's this over there? What's this button do? Saoirse is interested in the new and the unknown, and she wants to know all she can about everything. Usually through paws-on experience, especially; learning about things is all well and good, but there's a certain something that you only get through experience. She wants to do everything she can in her life, and all of that's got to start somewhere!
unflappable: Saoirse isn't really one to panic or lose her head. Sure, she's frequently quite excited and often doesn't think ahead or think too deeply about things, but even in difficult situations she's rarely angry or frightened or distraught. She tends to just take everything in stride as it comes! It all just slides off her like water on a duck's back, in the end, and she can be relied on to stay steady in most situations... as long as she doesn't hare off on her own to discover something new.
flaws:
leaping before looking: What's this button do? And this one? And this one? Saoirse knows she shouldn't, but she tends to act almost before the decision really reaches her brain on what to do. It's not that she works on the adage ask forgiveness, not permission, she just genuinely doesn't think before she does it and runs entirely on impulse. As a result, Saoirse tends to end up in situations where she's in way over her head, mostly because at no point did she take the time to think through anything she was doing in the first place.
self-first: Saoirse doesn't really emphasize well, and that extends to understanding other people's opinions. If that's not the way she sees it, or it's not the way she's experienced it, then obviously you're the one who's wrong, aren't you? Her own experience is this way, so that must mean that's the right way. At best, this leads to her being stuck-up and annoying; at worst, it can be actively dangerous.

eyes: Forest green, wide-eyed, a little pointed in shape
hair: Medium brown, kept in a chin-length wavy bob, with straight-cut bangs; parts of it are streaked with white
face: Heart-shaped. Looks late teens -- 16-17?
skin tone: Dark brown skin, warm undertones; large sections of pale vitiligo splotched across her entire body
body type: Pretty rectangle-shaped, a little hippy. A fairly small girl all things considered.
star color: Orange
clothes: A frilly dark green dress, reaching about a third of the way down her thighs, with a reddish-brown layer over it. The second layer of her dress splits at her hips, tied together by golden-orange strings with grey, red, and green beads on it. The dress is strapless, and is held together by a large orange ribbon cris-crossing across her back and resolving in a large bow tied over her tail. She wears orange footwraps and the same collar she wears as a cat.
