The camera panned on a breathtaking view of a beach with crystal clear water, luscious forests, and an astonishing mountain, the caption at the bottom said
'Kurolime Village, Sevii Selegaria'

A teenage girl with pale skin, ebony hair rushed toward the screen. identified as Lyra Clepsydra, the youngest daughter of the Clepsydra Clan
"Oh, you guys are here to see my father right? Look, Dad's kinda busy training... If you're meeting for business, you'll have to see my big sister Eras, she's been running the day-to-day stuff while Dad's busy..."

Pondering for a moment, the girl's eyes widened as she suddenly remembered.
"Wait, you're the legal team from the WWFG, and the doctors to see if he's able to compete in a match... No, I get it... Right. Okay"
Lyra spoke, as she clapped her hands together, and then rubbed them.

"Alright then, follow me... We gotta go down the path on the beach to the cave up ahead. "

Lyra lead the crew down the stone path, sure enough there was a cave as she stated, surrounded by waterfalls, but the entrance was open letting Lyra and the crew enter the cave.

Inside the cave, it was lit by torches, there was a pure wooden wrestling ring with in the cave, which looked to be carved from a tree, out of pure oak. The turnbuckles were carved from granite.
No doubt this was an ancient ring, that was even harder than the normal rings one would come to use in modern days.

The walls were rock, though there were fist marks as if someone had punched the walls in various places and left indents of their fists.

There was a whirling sound to the left, and the camera panned to see Chrono running on a treadmill, his hands bandaged and bloodied.

" What a monster... I'm going to be sick..." one of the camera crew could be heard on the camera saying, as the camera panned down to see that Chrono was running on the treadmill, and the tread part had LEGOS and pebbles on it.

... Chrono was literally running barefoot on LEGOS and pebbles...

Winding down, his 'cardio' workout, Chrono got off the treadmill and removed his shirt so the doctors could check him out, there were numerous scars upon his body, no doubt from the 'Ancient Ring' that he was training in.

'Mister Clepsydra, I have to ask... Why are you putting yourself through this torture for the sake of this match?
It's only a standard match, sir. "

Sitting down, the God of Time merely hunched forward for a moment, reaching down to drink from a water bottle.
" A standard match... Is that what you've reduced it too? A standard match...
With all due respect sir, the only thing 'standard' about this match is what it'll set.
'The' Standard.
With all due respect sir, 'This' match has more history than any other match you'll see, you know.
This match is about history, this match is about one thing... A story that needs to finish.
It's about two men, same start, different branches, similar paths, circling back...
Two men, one became a dragon of honor, and respect, a godfather of hardcore
The other, became a God of Time, a Behemoth, an unforgettable icon.
"

There was a pause, and Chrono inhaled a breath, slowly exhaling.
" ... You ask why I'm torturing myself to face this man, this Dragon...
In not a hardcore match, not a ladder match, not even a gimmick match.
No families, no teams, no syndicates, no factions, nothing.
Just two men, fighting. Why am I going through all of this... Torture?
... Many moons ago I faced a fellow deity... Known as Matt Shanahan in a Falco's Nest match.
I put him through hell, mental, emotional, spiritual, physical hell... And I got tossed off a cage through tables.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt... Human. But... After that?
Something was missing, something wasn't clicking.
I've done many things since that match, but something was... Missing.
"

The God of Time stood up, pouring the water on his hair, letting the water drip for a moment.

" So I stopped competing, the drive wasn't there, slowly but surely the drive was gone, the passion was gone...
Still, I set records and did things... But the desire just...
Wasn't there, even... Well even when killing an age-old nemesis that was a constant pain in the a**...
Even ending the existence of another... Both moments should have filled me with glee...
But... Nothing. ... And it was just auto-piloting...
Until that age-old question came to mind.
That age-old question of 'What If?"
And now we come to your question, why the torturous training?
Jarel... Came out of retirement for 'me' to face 'me'.
He had to undo his promise, his vow to his family to face me.
And sure he got their blessing, it's only honorable right?
But it's gotta be hell... To go back on a vow... Blessing or not...
It's still Unforgiven
I was a human, that became a monster, that became a god, that became a human once again...
The excitement of this match... Makes me feel alive
The pain and torture I put myself through... Makes me feel alive
And to answer the biggest 'What-If' question in our entire industry... That makes me feel alive...
And at Unforgiven... I... Will be Immortal..."

the camera panned to Chrono's fist, bandaged and bruised, as blood dripped from his hand.
The doctors checked up on him, in addition to legal documents being signed for the Main Event of Unforgiven.

' You guys got your answers? Paper's signed right? Clean bill of health right? Good. Hey uh... Mr. Dragon? Don't skip out on your training either okay?
My dad's the longest reigning Tag Team Champion, the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion, the Longest reigning Hardcore and Pure Champion, longest reigning World Champion in WWFG... Don't think he's a pushover!
Clearly, this means a lot to him, and to you... Give it your all okay?
"
The youngest Clepsydra daughter, Lyra spoke giving a thumbs up

"See you in a few months!"
