Strangely, people are surviving with only minor, if any, injuries at all. Being struck can feel like a static shock, or can feel like a sudden flash of heat, and targets are left with a strange lightning mark across their body. Though the marks will fade, for their duration–up to a full week after being struck, you might notice that you are more prone to static shocking yourself or others, and you may notice electronics charging or overcharging and malfunctioning. The marks can take longer to fade at player discretion, or players may choose for them to leave pale scars, but otherwise there are no lasting effects.

Iðavöllr could honestly say that getting struck by lightning had definitely not been on the list of things for her to experience.
In fact it was an experience that the strawberry-blonde haired page would have been quite happy to remain in ignorance of - but unfortunately this week appeared to be one that was shaping up into one that refused to give her a break, from the difficult clients that she (or rather Saffron) had had to deal with at work earlier on, to going home and finding out that the apartment above hers had sprung a leak and water was dripping through the ceiling–
Getting caught out in the thunderstorm appeared to be the ‘cherry’ on top of what was shaping up to be an awful week and Iðavöllr could only be relieved that apart from the sudden flash of heat, that she felt mostly okay if a little shock-y.
She had ended up sitting on a nearby bench, because even though it could have been a lot worse, she had still been struck by lightning and was still feeling a little shaky.
She reached up to look at her hand and frowned as brown eyes took in the lightning mark that now adorned her left hand.
Yes today was definitely the cherry on top of a bad week so far.Seiana_ZI Hope this works as a start Sei, but lmk if not and I will tweak when I get the chance. Also I’ll tag our other rp tomorrow <3
